This place has what you need. If you want to look for something specific, though, they might have it. It's worth a look, but be ready for them to not have it.The service is great and the staff is incredibly helpful and personable! Very happy with that aspect. This is rare these days.The deli is fantastic! Great selection and great service.The downside is how expensive everything is. I feel like Winn Dixie takes advantage of the fact that they're the one place in rural areas where you could find more niche products. It's Publix pricing with an Aldi's aesthetic.If you don't mind paying a lot ittle more for products, then this is a grear store. If price is a concern, though, maybe look elsewhere.

I was needing help finding sugar free pudding. There was none by Jello so Ashley left to find out if there was any in the stockroom. Shortly she returned to say they was none but brought me an alternatively by Snack Pack. I purchased those instead.Ashley was very friendly and helpful. A great experience.

This is pretty much my go to, for most of my groceries. But when the remodel came I was super excited about seeing the improvements!The store is bigger the carts are even bigger, the lines are too small for two of these carts to pass through without someone having to stop push the cart way over. These are small minot things. There was a lot of stuff that was never seen again after the remodel. Like Tony’s Clam Chowder which is a small business in Cedar Key that is the BEST Clam Chowder I have ever ate full of clams. I’m a Chef mind you. And they were the only ones I knew who supplied it besides driving 20 minutes to Cedar Key. That’s frustrating I feel like grocery stores in small towns, aka food deserts, should always try and keep the smaller businesses items on the shelf as the big ones have them across the world, so bring back Tony man!The last few times I have been grocery shopping I have had some issues w my meat and my fresh vegetables and fruit. One of the biggest things that had me excited was the fact that they would have fresh mushrooms you pick of varies kinds. Well the display and tongs are in place but I have not seen ANY other mushrooms than what they had before which is Portebello mushrooms, which they are not just the small buttons they have large caps but there is listed on tne outside of the bin, three or four varieties and they placed the ports in those when they aren’t so I think that is a little deceptive and needs to be addressed. Mainly bc they are a whole lot more expensive than ports the ones listed on the price tags and there maybe customers who are not as knowledgeable as myself and think they are and charged three times the amount than Ports are. Fix this either take the labels down or add the mushrooms that are displayed in the tag.I have also had to bring back several items. it spoiled bc I could cook. Like the next day, strawberries & too many times than I would like to admit. Meat was spoiled whic was rib eyes. They looked beautiful on one side but the back was a slimy greenish color and when I returned them she was disgusted but said not to buy that brand Ranchers something they have that brand meats and Winn Dixie brand band that I need ti stop buying them bc they are not USDA certified so you don’t even know for sure what you are getting or how old it is. I didn’t know that and I wonder how many more like me that didn’t know this is why I am reviewing to make potential customers aware. Overall it’s still my go too and why I rated 5 stars. The things I have mentioned happen far and i between so it’s still a great store.

Amazing variety, including gluten free items. Even though a lot of items were out of stock due to hurricane prep, they still had a lot of selections to choose from. Would definitely recommend going here.

First time I’ve had a negative experience shopping here. There were only four registers open and I queued to number two cashier McKenzie, as she was very friendly with other customers before myself and the older lady in front of me. As I was bagging some items she was scanning my items, she never looked at me with a greeting or asked about my winn dixie card. Then a guy behind me was putting his items on the conveyor, she said hi, completely ignoring me. When all my items were scanned she didn’t even notify me that she was finished, just turned the screen at my face. She handed me the receipt and I said Thank You! After I left she was conversing with the guy behind me. Ignorance and Prejudice at its finest! She needs to be retrained on customer service and respecting other races.

Amazing!!!! I pre ordered this cake a month ago from GA for my daughters birthday when we were going to be down camping and diving for her birthday. They were so nice and accommodating on the phone and made sure we get what our daughter wanted! It was spot on! The taste was too die for! Not too sweet, not dry, perfect flavor! It was chocolate icing and cake, the cake portion was between a fluffy cake and brownie which amazing!

I’ve been going to this Winn Dixie since 2004. They’ve lost all the good loyal, employees that had been there for years. The deli department is the worst. I was there today, Tues between 2:30 and 3:00 not busy at all. There was one other customer. I waited for ten minutes, standing waiting for one of the two employees. One was working while the other carried on a personal conversation. Not once did any one ask me if they could help me. The attitude is horrible. I finally got upset and just bursted asking if I could be assisted. I was looked at in a demeaning manner, no one apologized. I mentioned that I was waiting while this long conversation was happening without any acknowledgement. They were rude, all of those employees look at you in a disgruntled way. What happened to all those great employees they used to have? They are all gone!. Everyone, bakery, deli, customer service etc. were professional, courteous. I will stop going to this Winn Dixie and start going to Publix. I don’t care if I have to drive 25 miles out but I am not putting up with attitudes, and nasty disgruntled people.

My husband and I shop here. The staff have NO customer service at all. They never speak or smile. Yesterday the cashier did not speak at all. She smiled and spoke to her manager; after he asked her if she could stay a few hours extra. She was in a even worse mood. They only speak to people they know. Small town small minds. We will not shop here anymore.

It was a peaceful shopping experience. The store layout is not difficult to navigate, and the shelves are kept well stocked. I will say that it would be nice to have some more people working the checkout lanes while self check is nice. Sometimes, it's nice to interact with an employee

Williston is growing WAY to fast for my liking. However we need another Grocery store. It's packed with people all the time.It used to be easy in and out. Now I dread every second of going in there. And can't wait to get out.I have been ordering on the computer and picking my groceries up. I am actually saving money this way. No random items getting put into my cart.

This has to be the best Winn Dixie in Marion County. Its the cleanest, has the best staff and is kept up with well inside and out. Winn Dixie Liquor next door is the same.

Remodeled and very nice.12/27/22 Google asked if has changed, yes it has, everytime I go in the prices have increased.6/2/23 More and more self check, it won't be long until I stop shopping here.8/23 Yet more self check outs, only two cashier's, I only shop here as a fill in, I now travel to Publix where they have real humans checking you out.Purchased by Aldi, not a U.S. com. We shall see how it goes.

Nice grocery store that recently got a little face-lift! The staff here is always friendly and the 2 managers Gerard and Jose are top notch!!!! Can't decide what to get for dinner...try a seafood meal (comes with vegetables and seafood of choice) for just $8...all you do is throw it in the oven or microwave. Their bakery cakes are also delicious!!!!

Honestly just sick of the predatory pricing. Due to being just about the only place for groceries in this town you can expect to pay double or nearly double for just about everything. Even when something is on sale it brings the price down to just around a normal level for other grocery stores in nearby areas like Gainesville or Dunnellon. The selection is fine, produce will range from fresh to decomposing. You're best off using the self checkout because most of the cashier's are going to take longer than you to scan and bag your items. Best to shop elsewhere if at all possible but of course they're basically the only grocery store in town so they don't have competition to motivate them to do well.

I think what makes most chains good is setting and delivering on expectations. Winn dixie does this very well. Aside from great prices you anyways know that the quality is great. Food is too important to allow sub par vendors to exist when theres places like this

My healthy benefit card wouldn't work so the cashier at the self check out, took my receipt and myself to her register and tried everything she could and was really concerned about my about what was happening to me and cared and did not mind doing it!! She had to have spent an hour if not more. Not only did she try, she was even asking the manager for help and then the manager was trying everything she could! They took the time to help me and that made me feel comfortable about it all. And to make it better, THEY STAYED WITH TRYING EVEN THOUGH IT WAS CLOSING TIME!!! The manager took my name and number and took my groceries and put them behind the counter and told me to come back after calling my card and find out what was going on and they will be right there so I wouldn't have to shop again. Then she wrote a note for the morning person and even called and left them a voice mail telling them what was going on. To me you couldn't find any better customer service then the employees at the Williston Florida Winn-Dixie!!!Thank you,Jeanette Thompson

It seems to be a well stocked and clean store. Lots of parking available. I didn't have any interaction with employees, as there were only self checkout lanes available. I am visiting nearby from SW Florida, and I appreciated finding the store layout is consistent with their stores in my area, making it easy to find what I needed.

I've been going to this location for over 15 years.Today's visit was not what I'm used to experiencing there. The store was very clean and organized, they had about 90% of what I was looking for. The bad part was my check out experience. The cashier was friendly and polite but made me feel very rushed. I bring my own bags and since there was no one there to bag, I had to do it myself. I couldn't bag while paying. I immediately started bagging my own groceries while the cashier began ringing out the next person. The store was not busy, there was not a line waiting. Only the couple behind me. The cashier began talking to them and pushing their items towards mine. Making me feel rushed. I then realized she knew them, in fact, the guy was apparently a co-worker. I was shoved out of the way and rushed. I work very hard for my money and I felt like she was thinking "We have your money now, you're no longer important, please hurry up and leave ". Very shocked by this experience. They are usually wonderful there.
