I just had the nicest thing happen. I picked up grain and drove 60 miles home only to discover it was a formula i dont feed. Back i came this am and i was given a refund, comped grain that i do use, and apologies.How often does THAT happen?!

I’ve been a loyal customer here for years and the service gets worse every day. The curly headed plump girl at the paint counter and the black girl who CONSTANTLY is wearing ear buds are so unprofessional and less helpful than a child. They have no common sense and know nothing about the products they sell or where to find them. Completely rude and ignore everyone until you’re right in their face. Maybe hire someone with more than a tic-tac for a brain. Or even better, hire a man.

In the past 2 years since my last review the Williston Sparr has fallen terribly. I have been visiting Sparr for 5 years and the past two years have been a problem. I have had too many problems with getting regularly stocked supplies, (no consistency with normal supplies, which could be possibly attributed to the Covid mess we've all been through). Inventory is constantly inaccurate and orders not being filled with the correct item. I've driven to the dock multiple times just to find out that that item is not in stock. The front counter personnel are not very friendly and are not the least bit knowledgeable about most items in the store.The warehouse men are friendly and helpful but usually are not aware of the inventory issues.

I have sense returned several times and found Sparr up to and beyond my usual expectations. The wonderful ladies at the checkout always so nice and helpful. There is a gentleman that always helps me, I believe his name is Dennis,he dresses like a manager, white shirt, been there for years. Could not be more helpful.I am very happy with Sparr. Today I went in to get my special Fish based food I use for my Golden with skin issues. By the way, cashier was extremely pleasant.

I have been a customer since I first moved here in 1993 when it was owned by a family and when it became Sparr Building and Supply. I don't know who bought the company but the store has gone down hill. Most of the newer cashiers are rude and not helpful. The floors are dirty, it smells like an outhouse by the bathrooms. The regulars like Tim are still polite and helpful when I see them. I only go there to get my parakeets food and mini alfalfa cubes. Otherwise I wouldn't go there. They shouldn't have let the person go who maintained the inside of the store.

Not good service and when I ask for her name she hung up. And I called back she said her name was Suzie but Im sure that's not her name and talking about customers when you don't mute the phone is a no no.

Guessing weekends are quiet, couple of employees working others NOT....the cashier who checked us out must've been taking a nap, because we couldn't even see her when manager sent us her way. We found what we needed. We always do anytime we go to Sparr, we prefer to shop elsewhere, for the afore mentioned. Almost feels like highschool, guess I'm just not cool enough to shop there.

Every single employee is courteous and efficient and they have a great selection of farming supplies and hardware. It is great to see a family owned business doing so well and standing up to the bigger corporate stores.

Was pricier than Lowes for wood. Husband wasn't thrilled with quality either, was hoping quality would be better? Alittle but of a wait for the wood. Staff at check out was sweet.We will be back but will do price comparisons.

This place is great and they are about to expand.Friendly helpful customer service, fair prices and good variety of the things we need in a rural community.We are 31 miles from Home Depot, I'm glad to have Sparr here in Williston.Tractor supply has opened in Williston but it doesn't seem to have taken anything away from the true farm and ranch supply, Sparr, they are a good neighbor.

Their was 4 girls at register. One was texting, one eating and the other two talking with each other. The horse feed was stored in back of store, so I went to all four girls and asked if they had a list of their horse feed.The reply "no". They went back to texting, eating and talking with each other. I got the "look" from all four, that said you are bothering us. I left never to return.

Young woman at checkout exhibits extremely poor customer service skills. She was not welcoming during the checkout process and did not respond to my thank you, turned her back to me as she handed me my receipt. This is very common with almost all age customer service employees these days.

Very good service cashier and Associate were very knowledgeable they did not mind writing me a quote for my wish list of the crow outside loaded me up and we'll very courteous and helpful with questions as well way to go sparr!! I will shop there again

staff never know anything I ask even cashiers I buy something ,when I go back to pick up they write different merchandise that I asked before ,it doesn't happen one time . maaaaaaa ny times . They need more training about store merchandice
