Well this place is definitely unique. We actually stopped to pick up some Florida Fieldstone rocks which I'll sit out front near the highway. That purchase went well however there's really no prices for the stones and it's not strictly by weight. What you do is Tag the ones that you like then they come out and look at them and give you a price based on the size / weight and the characteristics characteristics of The Rock. I'm not sure how you can judge on the characteristics much since it is Fieldstone but the prices were quite there and we bought for rocks total. Just note that they are a cash-only business. The Stranger part comes in that we didn't realize that they were also an alligator Taxidermy service. That being said if you walk into their little shop they do offer a lot of genuine Gator products for sale. For myself I found it a little bit disturbing because there are all kinds of rustic style gator products and hides and things of that nature. What I did not like was how stinky and smelly the place was. I'm guessing that's to be expected but we didn't realize it when we went to get filled rocks, however you don't necessarily have to go into the shop you can do your transaction outside. They have a huge Warehouse style structure behind the small little shop which has thousands of hides and skeletons and stuff like that. I don't think that part is open to the public but they do a huge business there for online orders. I guess if this is what you're into than the place is really great, but if you're just there for rocks like we were it was just a bit odd. Though the girl that was there was helpful and even loaded our stuff. If it wasn't for the smell I would have given them four stars.

I called Shayne the morning I harvested my alligator. He invited me to come to the shop. The next afternoon I arrived to ice cold beers and great conversation while he meticulously cleaned my gator in preparation for the tanning process. He and his staff is professional and friendly. He showed me around his facility and all the projects he is working on. While my hide is months from completion, I have no doubt he will do a great job judging by the quality of work I see around the shop in the processing phase. I highly recommend stopping by the shop whether it's for a taxidermy job or just to take a look around. Also grab some oakwood bbq on your way back home.

Overpriced....and $25 delivery charge when they were headed across the highway from here anyways. $50 is $2 a mile from there to Leesburg! Won't do business with them again.
