Used Petco and Vetco for grooming and shots. Shots were fine. Staff was good. Waited a long time nearly an hour after our scheduled time.The Grooming was no good. I would not recommend them at all. My dog is less than 2 and because he hadn't been there they gave this story that they may not be able to groom his body because he'd be stressed out, sounded really weird as a lifelong dog owner. When I picked him up they had only groomed his face and feet. The rest of his body was untouched. They said he needs to come there more often so he's more familiar with the store. By the time I left they had already set-up another grooming in a month. Definitely would not recommend them and will not be going back.Dog's are stressed out being away from their families for 3 hours at a time in a strange place. While monthly grooming may be a good business model, its of no value to an animal.

Went to schedule an appointment for grooming for my dog, who has been there for 4 years now, and I got refused cause he had a cancer tumor removed. Even though he has been cleared for getting wet and groomed by his vet, they refused... but this was just the icing on this cake. Over the last number of months, they have stopped carrying my cat food, and the dog products I use have been going away. Petco has lost my business, and I have found a very nice pet groomer to replace them. If I could give negative stars I would

Horrible customer service at pet grooming department. No professional greeting and made no eye contact.After waiting for a few minutes at the check-in without acknowledging my presence, Beth looks up and greeted me starting with a conjunction "AND who is this?" Referring to my pup. Almost like we were having a previous conversation in another lifetime and she just picked up where we left off.Not to mention how pricey they are, I would be expecting better service.What has our society come to with people not greeting you in a professional manner or even starting with hello?Maybe I'm a dying breed!

Having watched Lexi do the 6 week beginners dog training course I can honestly say that I’m totally amazed at how Lexi interacts with these dogs. She is phenomenal. She has the ability to connect with these dogs and teach them what they need to learn. Not only is she good with the dogs she teaches the dog parents exactly what they need to know to continue their dogs good behavior. She is totally AWESOME !!!! I would recommend Lexi to anyone who wants their dogs to live their best lives.

The Vetco office here is wonderful! Abigail at the front desk, Yuli the vet tech, and Dr. Morris took excellent care of my cat. They made us feel comfortable. The costs were made very clear and understandable as we went. They were all so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this office! Such a great vet.

Sadly they wouldn't honor my dogs written prescription for food that I was just given by my own veterinarian. They told me to come back tomorrow and visit Vetco. I luckily called PetSmart and they honored it, my dog got to eat his new food tonight!

We love Petco, the products they offer, and the great prices. We’ve been shopping at this location for years, never had a negative experience, but never felt compelled to leave a review until now.My boyfriend and I came into the location on Memorial Day to get some essentials for our pets. During our visit, we needed assistance and Victoria jumped straight to the task when we asked if we could look at one of the available Syrian Hamsters. (Whereas another employee was not as willing to help and seemed frustrated that customers were asking him for assistance, so we did not approach him.)Victoria was very knowledgeable in regards to the hamsters in their care. She was able to tell us more about their personalities, which helped us pick a different one than we originally planned to get. She was knowledgeable in regards to how to care for our new pet, where to find supplies for the pet in store, and even went above and beyond at the register at checkout. Victoria let us know about some sales that were happening that day, and we ended up making two separate transactions because the sale was so good, we went back for more!! She really made us feel like the red carpet had been laid out for us. It was the best shopping experience we have had at any Petco!We were truly very impressed with this young woman and are happy knowing she is at our favorite location next time we need supplies. I am very disappointed with the cleanliness of this store. I was excited to get my dog dog treats, but noticed how dirty the bins were and noticed a live worm (or whatever it is). It was hanging by a web moving around. Can’t imagine how long they have been there. Even the floors were filthy. I noticed the carts roll, so I’m confused on how the store doesn’t have the audacity to sweep, mop, or clean the bins where the treats are kept in. I had to put back the dog treats. I didn’t want to risk getting my dog sick.

If I could leave a zero star I would. I had a 9 AM appointment today for my golden doodles grooming. When I arrived my sweet baby was nervous, as he always is. The groomer cara already seemed a little impatient by the way she was handling him. I’m assuming because he was nervous but why I’m writing this review is because of a situation I brought up about his behavior changing in the recent 72hrs. He seemed a little sad and distant with me but still playing outside, healthy and eating. I even asked “idk if I should ask you “the groomer” or the vet for advise if it’s normal for dogs behavior to change randomly. Some other women chimed and said “if I where cara, I wouldn’t service him”’ and went on explaining bc his behavior had changed they’d be liable for if something goes wrong during the appt. Although I explained he was playing, running, standing and eating as normal.. He just seemed sad than usual. I was simply just dropping off my dog for his grooming just asking for some advise here human to human. I can understand it may be a part of their policy to deny services for certain situations, however, as a dog owner who was just expressing how nervous I was.. these ladies had zero empathy with the way they handled the situation. I honestly felt so bad about myself & this is the 3rd time we’re unhappy w the grooming service here that this was our last straw and my fiancé and I have decided to cancel our premier service all and all to go to another groomer that had treated us and our pet with empathy, joy and so much care. Please Petco train your staff to be more empathetic with their dog owners. Side note: my vet at Petco later that day was so amazing and was so kind in assuring me my worries.

As someone who uses a raw diet and supplements to care for their dog I am very pleased with Petcos supplements. I personally use Native Pet. Petsmart and most pet stores don’t carry them. Which is very disappointing. This Petco in particular is VERY clean and well organized. The staff is also so sweet and helpful every time I go in. Highly recommend for those looking for more niche products.

I have 3 cats and after trying different brands of cat litter I decided to try the refillable one from Petco. BEST LITTER EVER! It clumps really well and eliminates odor effectively. SoFresh is the brand's name. You buy the container the first time and refill it ,paying obviously less for the refill.

I love bringing my dog to this Petco for grooming and haircuts. The staff always do a good job and my dog leaves happy. The staff are friendly, kind and very helpful. We tried a new stylist named Beth. Beth was awesome, she asked me what I wanted and she did exactly what was said plus more. I would definitely recommend this place!

We just love Beth in grooming. She gives our Coton de Tulear Cali the best haircut and helps ease her anxiety. We’ve been seeing her for years since salon hopping when we moved to FL in 2018.The staff is sooo friendly. The cashiers to the floor staff always are pleasant and helpful.

Lexi! Lexi! My almost 3 year old energetic, leash pulling, strong dog just completed Level 1 adult training with Lexi. It’s amazing the amount of progress my dog has made since training started. Lexi is very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and with her love of dogs is always shining through. I highly recommend Lexi! We will be signing up for Level 2. Time to bring my dog out for a walk without getting pulled over now. I will be grateful forever.

Small, very little selection, saw an employee interacting with a live roach then walked away. Dirty and cluttered. Multiple pallets of unpacked product makes it difficult to navigate the tiny store and blocks much of the product that’s on display so you can’t get to it. Will not be going back.

Great staff. Clean. Friendly. Not expensive for pet care. I definitely recommend it. I took my 9 mth cat there for kennel cough. Had upper respiratory infection. Slept all day. The antibiotics worked in 3 days. He's all better. Back to the beach.. thx..

Adopted a kitten today at Petco in Wesley Chapel through the organization Cat Haven Rescue Inc-and the care our kitten had received prior to my getting her was- evident and.....exceptional- this organization was wonderful-the fee was more than fair !!!!!!!considering....it - included shots, spaying -treatment for an infection it came in with and ( Drs visits)...... *she is loving, socialized and ready for years of attention in our home with 2 other kitties- we are so appreciative of this organization and the generous individuals who provided the dedicated hours of care for our new kitty and the vast needs of all these stray kitties* Thankyou for our new 💛
