So good took my 6 month old corgi and she has never looked better and for 60$ I thought it was moneys worth will be coming back not only did they do our corgi we just got our Chihuahua done and she looks amazing The groomers are absolutely amazing and super understanding of our corgi being very active and our Chihuahua being very shy thank you so much for grooming them

Support local businesses!This place is absolutely fantastic. We take our dog for grooming there, and they treat him way better than any other grooming place I’ve ever been.They are also super knowledgeable about products that can help your pets. I am going to start my dog on CBD for his anxiety. I have been pondering it for a bit, the owner talk to me about it today and I’m going to give it a try. They also have a rewards system, which I really appreciate to help with costs.

This is a very clean looking store. I stopped in for some treats and to make an appointment for grooming for my dog Teddy. The cashier was very nice and helpful. They did a great job with Teddy. He looks very clean and smells great. I made sure they de shredded him also and they did an amazing job with that. He feels very soft and doesn't look like he will shed for a while.

Stopped by today for the first time and fell in love with the entire atmosphere. The store has such a wide variety of goodies and treats for all your pups needs! Prices were well within reason too, which I loved. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back for further groomings. Our 7 month old Golden enjoyed getting his nails trimmed.

This place is too cute! Very friendly and welcoming from all staff! My Lola went in for a full groom....loved that they had a welcome sign of all the pups getting groomed! She looked fantastic and came out smiling! There was this adorable Valentine's photo op station.... absolutely adorable! I wish there was a place like this in MA! Just visiting FL.....but she needed her birthday cut! ❤️🐾

While the service and presentation was excellent, on the other hand is there is no kettle on site for those who are on a certain frame. When I got to the store I was informed that they would call ahead of time to let me know when they would finish bathing the dog. I was in the middle of a meeting (since I work from home) and had unfortunately had missed the call, so I rushed to leave once I realized they had called and was 25 minutes late. I was charged an extra 45 dollars. For some of us that’s a decent amount for groceries these days. Just FYI this was a dog I was taking care of for a friend.

Im so up set with them, They Used to be good, Now every time i go its a problem. My one dog came back looking the same way, No cut, no scarf, no nothing..$47 for what. The other dog looks a hot mess. I willl not be going back. Over a $100 for nothing.

Very clean and friendly shop/grooming. Been here a couple times and their customer service is excellent. Everytime I leave my dog for a full service he comes back to me happy. They may be a bit pricey for grooming but it’s worth it! All the groomers are great, the service is done right and the dog comes back happy no fear taking him in and in a better mood leaving. Happy this groomer opened up in this area. If you’ve had unpleasant grooming experience for your dog make an appointment here definitely worth it!

I am not happy. I took my 7m old Lhasa Apso puppy in for his first groom today… mistake. What has me confused is that every time I’ve been into Max’s, it’s been pleasant and friendly. The groomer did her best to explain what would happen during the $68.00 service that I UNHAPPILY paid for. My puppy left with his butt trim looking like a mowed patch & his eyes and face was over trimmed(nothing like the photo I gave as example) . They offered to fix his haircut at another location, but that only inconveniences me. Very upset and hoping the owner will personally reach out. What a waste.

Max and Missy met us at the door today! The groomers and the owner were very kind and our dog enjoyed her spa day. They do not place dogs in cages at this salon. Overall great experience.

We frequently take our toy Aussie to Max’s for grooming and they always have done a fabulous job! We had to stop in for a visit yesterday during the thunder storm for some help as Charli was a nervous nelly with all that rain and thunder noise. The staff helped us pick out an awesome thunder jacket and some yummy bacon CBD treats. Within less than 30 minutes our Charli was fast asleep and relaxed during the remainder of the thunder storm thanks to everyone at Max’s Pet Salon ❤️

What I would call a boutique, this place is actually pretty cool. And the staff are very knowledgeable and go out of their way to help their customers. I also appreciate the education provided to help make decisions. A great place for pets!

Have anything you can think of or dream for any kind of animal. Prices are up there. Location is fantastic with great burrito place, harbor freight, dollar general and Ollie's in same parking lot.

I have taken my dog to the groomers here in the past and have not had issue. The last 2 times, my dog was turned away. I booked a grooming and didn’t understand fully that their bookings changed to be done by breed rather time time/space availability. I picked a breed that I thought was close to the kind of dog I had but that was wrong. I understood that they wouldn’t take my dog that time. I booked at another time a few months later and I was about to hand my dog off for the groomer to take my dog back. At the same time there were two dogs about to exit. I asked if the other two dogs could pass by first. The groomer with the two dogs asked if my dog wasn’t okay with other dogs. I told her that she is afraid of other dogs. The woman with the two dogs in hand replies to me “if that’s your reaction to these two dogs, then we can’t take your dog” again my dog has been here before without incident on a handful of occasions. My dog was a rescue and is older now. It wasn’t worth arguing about. I will continue to look for a groomer that can with with the limitations that my dog has. I think this groomer could have been more polite, she wasn’t not the groomer of my dog for the day and I don’t appreciate that she talked to me like that in the open of the store.This place has done a good job in the past but that is two occasions now in which my pet has been turned down.

I had taken my dog here four times before to get her hair cut. Every time it cost 80 dollars. After dropping her off this time they said it would be 102 dollars, because of her size. She is no bigger than she was the previous 4 times. Once I picked up my dog I noticed she had been cut on both her ears and was bleeding. They tried to say she was cut because she was matted. She got a hair cut here a month before and is brushed daily. The last picture on this post was a few days before her hair cut. You be the judge if you think she was so matted that she should come home with bleeding ears. Also after leaving a review on another site they claimed I signed a matted waiver and that was the reason she cost more this time. I didn’t sign anything nor was a waiver ever mentioned to me, I was told I was charged more because of her size. This company is more than welcome to post the signed wavier to prove I’m lying but that can’t because that sheet doesn’t exist. Don’t take your dog here unless you want to be lied to and come home with a dog that is injured.

JUST HEARTBROKEN!! Can’t say you weren’t warned. I’ve given this place a regrettably second try. I’ve been grooming my Shichon since July when 1st took him there—groomer left ALL the tear stains on my dog. The owner Paul seemed to seemed to understand because his dog Max is also a Bichon, assured me that if I brought him back in he would fix it. What a BIG MISTAKE! First of all, I booked appointments a month out, and left a major event on Saturday to bring my (now two Shichon pups) in only to be told “upon arrival” that their appointments were cancelled. The employee then proceeded to LIE by insisting that she called me numerous times and emailed me to cancel my appointments because the groomer that was scheduled “their finest” was fired. Of course, I became upset- went back and checked my phone and had one isolated missed call from a spam number out of Sun City Center (no numerous missed calls, no emails and no texts except after the one missed spam call I rec two texts CONFIRMING my appts). Yes I called her out on it and she NEVER admitted the truth. The owner Paul later called me to once again apologize and convinced me to reschedule. Took my pups in yesterday and the groomer Christy called and told me that my Bentley was matted under “his color” and because of that she would have to clip him lower. I asked her to keep his fur as long as possible and instructed her to “blend it in”. The minimal matting obviously could not have been that bad since I pet my dogs for hours a day and never noticed with the exception of 1 small spot underneath each ear which could NOT BE SEEN. Also, I had just bathed and blown out both pups on Thanksgiving day and trimmed his nails so I knew it wasn’t as bad as she made it sound. I also VERY MUCH told her to keep their face hair long like it was, clean up the tear stains, and to NOT cut the ears straight across and specifically told her I DO NOT WANT YOU TO CUT HIM LIKE A POODLE. I will say that I have been grooming my dogs exclusively since JULY and have had NO MAJOR problems. Now, apparently my pups got scheduled with two different groomers MIND YOU the 2nd groomer NEVER called me to ask what I wanted. When I arrived I almost passed out. I DID NOT RECOGNIZE MY DOG! SHE shaved my dogs hair down LOW, trimmed his face down SHORT, LEFT ALL the tear stains, cut his ears STRAIGHT across (UNEVEN and one side is LONGER than the other) and my DOG LOOKS LIKE A POODLE. I still am crying!!! Took my dogs to my girl friend and her JAW dropped! Unrecognizable!!! Her husband thought that she got another poodle!!! MY GOD WHY?!?!?I have NOT slept and had to cancel our family pics with our precious pups because of the cuts being SO BAD!! I believe that they shave these dogs down so they don’t have to blow them dry. I am SO DISGUSTED!!!! What the employee told me while I was crying- “it will grow back out”. UNBELIEVABLE. See my pics From a few days ago and you can see how they returned the dogs back to me with all the tear stains not even attempted to remove them, JUDGE for yourselves! Pics with their orange faces were taken after they got groomed yesterday. My friends have shared with me similar experiences there and now I am pretty sure that they just don’t care!! Owner Paul text me this morning and told me “all the best”. Unreal!!! I have primarily groomed my dogs and take PRIDE in their care! There is absolutely NO EXCUSE in the world for the GROOMERS to BUTCHER my dogs! REMEMBER I just personally groomed my dogs Thanksgiving and know better! LAZY LYING GROOMERS! PLUS MY FRIENDS told me that they have had similar problems there! So sad!! So sad! **Update to the owner,if I tell you to remove my dog’s FEW little matted areas (under his color and the one under each ear) and blend it in then that’s what you were to do, NOT BUTCHER BOTH OF MY DOGS! Don’t be fooled, The last 3 photos (long hair) from when I groomed my dogs!! All the others are after they went to this deplorable place! Save yourself the heartbreak!

We have been going to Max's since December when we rescued an 8 month GSD. It has always been pleasant & the staff is very helpful and always smiling. My boy Wagner gets super excited every time we pull into the parking lot. Last night 6/1 we arrived after 7 and realized the store was closed. Luckily for us Paul the owner was in the parking lot and saw our failed attempt to enter. Without hesitation he unlocked the door and told us to come on in. They had to restart and log on to the POS. Made us feel welcomed and told us to take our time, not to rush. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thank you so very much for making sure Wagner was a happy pup.

Max’s is excellent! I bring my yellow lab every month for his bath. There are no cages and dogs are free to move at their own pace. Paul, Carol, and the rest of the staff is wonderful. They have Fromm dog food among other excellent natural brands. I highly recommend this for your baby! You will love it!

Emily is fantastic. Riddle is an 80# "dancer" when he gets groomed because he doesn't like his feet touched. He came out beautifully. He's so pretty.

We love Maxes Grooming Salon and Pet store. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable of all the natural food products for your pets. We started out almost 5 years ago looking for a groomer after relocating here from Pinellas County. We love the grooming service besides excellent haircuts. Which for our two small dogs we usually can pick them up within 2 hours or less. Plus they don’t cage or crate them. We still love them to this day. Five year testimony.They have now expanded in three different locations. Not only do they specialize in grooming service. We were in all with their dog healthy food selections. We all love our pets and want them to be with us as long as possible. I had no knowledge what ingredients we were feeding our pets from grocery stores. Until I started looking into Maxes food selections and comparing what I had previously selected. It was horrifying what I found out in the ones we purchased at supermarkets. Verses Maxes The toxins that are in reg pet food to preserve them and the amount of it, that we are buying and feeding it to our pets. I started asking more questions to the owner Paul and he’s very happy to share his knowledge of ingredients and what your particular pet may need. I have seen the difference in my pets desire to eat their food and with baited breathe of me preparing it. They clean their plate promptly. Where before they were hesitant in eating. I couldn’t figure out why. The dog food in supermarkets are not FDA approved and again it’s alarming the amount of toxins in those ingredients look up those big words we can hardly pronounce.The owner or staff never pushed anything on us. They educated us on their products. This is why Paul started his business to help others understand what’s best for their pets. We can not say enough great things about this Pet store reference the services offered as well as the wide variety of foods for dogs and cats and treats. Toys and leashes harness. Customer service is no one. With the staff and owner. I hope you get a chance to just walk in one of the three stores and you’ll see for yourself why Paul’s making a difference for our pets is important to him as well as us. You might even get to meet Max and Missy. Yes the business is named after Max his dog . So cute well mannered and will want you to pet him. Missy is adorable too. The staff are very educated when it comes to their food products. I feel a lot better having my pets on diets featured in this store.The grooming services are also great. You're able to watch the process from the window so there is no secrecy. My dog always looks and smells great long after his appointment!

Tried Max's grooming today for the 1st time. Deana, did a fantastic job grooming our Golden retriver. She was also able to cut the nails on my english bulldog, which is usually a terrible experience. She was quick and my dog never got upset. We are so happy this establishment is here. Highly recommend Deana.
