They should shut this place down. Nothing ever works. They literally pay two people to do nothing there. They don't help you. They just sit around and smoke cigarettes and get paid to do nothing at all. The machines don't ever work The one cash register a loan has been broke for 2 months. So for 2 months nobody has did anything there. They haven't rang out. No people, no groceries. It's you help yourself and that's it. I wish I could get a free job like that

Very friendly store manager he was very helpful and showed actual concern for wanting to improve the store I have seen a change for the better stuff is actually getting put away on shelves and in correct places he also wears proper clothing it's just sad he started there in suchba mess and has a very immature staff and the laziness shows I think they are confused and seen to think standing around talking or smoking is actually working but atleast they are easy to find if you have a question but I seen Daniel from one end of store to other doing there work wish I had boss like that

It has been such a great improvement this past 4 months, with Sandra as manager and Krystin and all the other ladies working contantly to keep the store stocked and organized, treating the customers with courtesy and smiles, and maintaining their composure despite disgruntled customers frequently getting held up by faulty equipment. The staff there definitely deserves a solid 5 rating, but the 1 left off is for the DG parent company not getting their equipment repaired in a timely manner and not making sure that Wellborn receives their stock as consistently as city stores do, based on a former employee stating that the empty spots on the shelves were caused by the DG truck suppliers often choosing to skip the Wellborn store, due to its distance.

Excellent customer service employees. Very personal and normal every day people. The Manager however is just the opposite. Pompous, extremely presumptuous, makes customers feel uncomfortable and comes off as if everyone is lying. The ex Assistant manager should have been the store manager. However im to the belief that the ex Assistant Manager was demoted out of fear of losing job position and title.

This location is always very clean with fully stocked shelves and no clutter on the floors. The prices are noticeably cheaper at this location than the one in McAlpin as well. I also love the very large fridge and freezer area. Always friendly staff ready to help if you need.

BEST DOLLAR GENERAL AROUND! I've spoken to the manager many times and she is so sweet and seems to keep a very good handle on things! The other employees are very nice as well and I've never had any complaints coming here! The store is always very clean and very organized. Can't beat the prices either. They mostly have whatever I need whether a lot or a little! I will always use this DG.

This is one of my favorite stores to go to the staff is super helpful and kind and what I love is that they remember who you are they smile when you come in and you can tell that they enjoy there Job the Manger is always so helpful also she goes over and beyond for her customers all in all great staff and great store I love that it’s always so organized in there and you can find what you’re looking for Just love this store best Dollar General around hands down

I shop here all the time as this place is 7 miles from my house. I've never really had a bad experience until Saturday Sept. 19 around 9:00 am. I unloaded my basket onto the counter for scanning, and as my basket was emptied, I asked the individual working the register as to where I should place my basket. His response was, "well, there are 42 places you can put it, but here...I'll take it." I responded letting him know that I was asking because I'm sure there is a cleaning process in place because of Covid. He let me know at that time that they didn't clean the baskets after every use. So, I have a couple of issues that lead me to believe that I shouldn't shop at this store anymore: 1. This individual had no reason or purpose to respond to me snidely about the basket protocol. 2. How can they clean baskets after numerous uses and expect that this is doing any good at all? I think from now on I'll be sure to drive the extra distance so as to not have to deal with unsanitary conditions and unnecessarily rude and sarcastic remarks.

Only problem was that the previous manager was so bad she is no longer there and although the new employees are doing an excellent job the previous manager did not order bags for the merchandise. Another stores employee was supposed to bring them some bags to get by till their order of bags came in. I just so happened to come in in between time.

I go here probably twice a week easily. I mean it's kind of like a mini Wal-Mart lol. If I need something in a pinch, they almost always have it.I've bought shampoo, conditioner, other toiletries, household items, decorations, holiday supplies, electronics, batteries, groceries, wine, soda, water, cards for occasions, flowers, gum and mints, everything!The 4 that I've been to have good customer service as well. There's also the fast factor. You pretty much always get in and out quick. Prevents the hustle and bustle of Wal-Mart.So yeah, I definitely recommend this one. I hope this was helpful, guys. As of 11/16/2018 they are currently in remodeling mode in order to make a even better DG with more food options. I saw the new coolers that are already set up which are kinda nice.

normally carry a good variety of stuff however a lot of times they're out of stock they also need more cashiers there's always a 20 to 30 minute wait to check

I'm actually impressed with this store in particular...you can walk around without having stock piles in the way. The store is very clean and customer service has been great this far.

This store is normally nice altho here lately ive been mistreated by a specific employee who is normally nice but has been taking out their frustrations on customers I felt almost apologetic by the time I left my mother in law was told that their employer is being unfair towards them cause them to be unfair towards customers

Living in rural area like Wellborn, this store is a life saver. It offers basic needs at cheap price. Would like to see it expand like the one in White Springs. Offering more food products like frozen veggies etc.

I was very disappointed to find Dewayne was no longer with our Dollar General in Wellborn. FL. Many of our.neighbers aren't happy about dismissal??? I know he was the hardest, most caring, and went by Company rules that I could see . My husband is 88 yrs old Veteran that served in the Korean War.. 1951-1953. He still drives and he loves he's Dollar General that is about 1 miles from our home.and because Dewayne works there and really appreciates that young man. We go by by several DG on our way home but we wait until we get our store. However. Someone did Dewayne wrong and the store shows who worked!!! Go look for yourself. :: A MESS,"

I Live at Dollar General! Half of the money I spend a month goes to the DG. They have the lowest prices on hundreds of brands. They have a digital coupons AP, to save even more money! What would I do if I couldn't come to you, DG? Not save!

This is one of the best Dollar General stores I've been to. Well stocked and not running in to boxes, stacked out on the aisles from stocking, like most stores.
