Petco groomers are the BEST! They know the personalities of each one of my little dogs. They handle them with tender love and care, as if it were their own pet. We feel very safe taking our little babies to Petco. The whole Staff at Petco are so friendly, and they get to knoe each pet by name as they come into the store. FIVE STAR EXPERIENCE !

We took our new small dog to the groomers for the first time to have his nails clipped. Although we have visited the site multiple times before with our other dog, this was the first time for our new pet. We explained to the groomers that we had been facing difficulties in trying to trim our dog's nails at home. They informed us that they may require an additional person to assist with the process, to which we agreed and understood.As they walked our dog "Roscoe" into the area to have his nails clipped, he froze when he got past the entrance. This was expected as it was a new environment with other dogs around. However, the groomer's reaction to this was to continue to pull on the lead to get him to move, which only made Roscoe push back. Eventually, the groomer decided the best plan of action was to drag our dog by the lead past all of the tables to the back booth. It was heart-wrenching to watch my usually well-behaved dog being dragged by the lead.When the pet owner took their dog to the groomer, they encountered a problem. One of the groomers refused to groom the dog, saying "We are not doing this today". The pet owner asked why they hadn't been informed earlier that the groomer was not prepared to deal with their dog, to which the response was "We needed to stop arguing with them". The groomers showed impatience towards the dog, unprofessionalism towards the customer, and a lack of human decency by not handling the situation appropriately, even after seeing the dog being dragged through the salon.We will not be returning to the store and strongly suggest that if you have a pet you consider not doing so either. The lack of patience and empathy for our dog was alarming.

I enjoy taking my dog (Buky) to Petco because they really care about your pet's well being. They also do an outstanding job of grooming my dog. Everytime I pick him up, I'm never dissapointed, he is groomed exactly the way I asked, he looks fantastic! I trust Petco, and have never had to worry about his care. My groomer is Jordyn, and she always outdoes what I want for my pooch. Thanks, Jordyn and Petco. Robert P.

Another great grooming experience thanks to Krys!!! My easily agitated little Maltese dog actually kissed her like she was his best friend when I handed him over to her this time!!! That tells me a lot about HIS grooming experience! My experience is that she always gives me the cut I asked for! What more can I ask for?!!! Thank you again, Krys!!! Our whole family is so glad I found you after several less than favorable experiences from several other grooming businesses!

It was the worst grooming job my dog had ever been given. Groomer did not really seem interested in how I wanted hair around the face done, all she had to do was follow the way it was done last time my dog was groomed. I am sorry I tipped the groomer, but I was given the bill to pay before I saw my dog.

I brought my rescue dog there. I explained the dianoced issue. Did not follow directions. Did not completely groom my dog. Nails no clipped. Ears not cleaned. Eyes not cleaned. Hair between pads on feet not done.Now petco refunded my 51.00. And next groom free. I waited 3 months and gave petco another try. Nail not clipped eyes not cleaned. And grooming uneven. Everthing was great I just wish the nail trim and buffing would be a little more smooth due to his nails are still rough in some areas and also wish the scent would last a bit longer .
