My family and I visited yesterday and had been wanting to for a while and once we got in, the lady greeted us and it seemed like they had a wide selection of items and the prices seemed decent but the smell of dirty pet odor was so overwhelming I couldn't browse. I am aware they're there to help animals and everything but I don't think that's healthy breathing in that smell for thee employee's and shopper's sake. I'd love to visit again but PLEASE air out the place. I'm not one to complain but that issue must be addressed. I mean this in the most sincerest way.. Honestly.

This is a great thrift store with thrift store prices. They have a lot of furniture, clothes, books and the usual thrift store items. The important thing to know is that this thrift store supports the "For love of paws" program, that helps seniors with pets and also Senior Pet's that might need a foster home or a new home. They have a variety of programs including meals on wheels for pets. They have a section in the thrift store where you can go and pick up food for your pet, if you are a senior person in need. So not only is it a great thrift store, but a great place to support, just because of the great work they do with seniors and their pets.

"For The Love Of Paws" has their hearts in many areas trying to help our community and IRC. They provide pet food to area food pantries to help people feed their pets. Which is a lot of food ...were talking 1000's of pounds for 17 of these places where people can go and get food for their pets.They also provide "Home Delivery" of pet food to Senior Citizens who cannot travel. They also reach out to help our Veterans. Their volunteers also help run the "Love of Paws Thrift Store" on 12th Ave. One of my favorite charities that I support monthly!

very very low priced thrift items. some stuff is not good at all (i found a dollar tree bin tagged at $2) but other than that, i enjoyed the experience and will be back. hopefully i will have a more positive update.

I like this thrift store because they put out a lot of "stuff" and "junk" in the back room. I do not prefer the boutique-style of thrift store that doesn't have the odd things to stumble upon. For example, I have bought a pet sliding door and sound proofing panels in the back room. Both great "stuff/junk" type items, if that makes sense. They have reasonable prices and the employees are nice. They also seem to be dedicated to their mission. This is one of my favorite thrift stores in Vero and I highly recommend it.

My visit was as great as ever, it was nice to see the staff! I usually visit once a week or every other week if I can and it's always great to see new inventory and find that hidden treasure, lol..... Love the new setup!

The best thrift store ever the employees are so. Nice and friendly excellent customer service i went there for the first time a little while ago, same service. I went back again for the 2nd time earlier this month and now im addicted nice thing in there. i went in today and saw a piece of furniture that didn't have a price i was looking for the nice guy that helped me the first time,his young son was there he came to me very professional and friendly. gave me a price , i didn't have enough money but he did work with me on a price. i wanted to hug him! that was a blessing. he did call his dad to get the ok, his dad didn't answer.but he did say he knew his dad would be ok with it and i brought it.I LOVE THIS STORE AND THE WORKERS!!

This is an amazing cause to support. Love of Paws was founded in 2014 by Ted Pankiewicz in memory of his wife Jessica whose dream was to help animals. She passed away on Jan 13th, 2013 at age 32 from an auto Immune Disease. According to their Facebook page "Love Of Paws Thrift Store Supports Senior Citizens Pet Rescue and Paws Meals On Wheels Programs providing Peace of Mind to Senior Citizens and in the care of their Pets."Love of Paws operates two pet pantries in Vero Beach and Fellsmere. Ted Pankiewicz was working as a manager of a 55 plus community in Sebastian and he became aware of the need of seniors to be able to take care of their pets. The Paws Meals on Wheels program donates 10,000 pounds of food monthly to anyone who is having trouble feeding their dogs and cats. By providing food, animals are able to be kept in their homes and out of shelters. The Love Of Paws Cat Cottage in Fellsmere takes in cats whose senior owners have passed away, are in hospice, memory care, or nursing homes and finds new homes for them.In order to fund their programs Love of Paws accepts furniture, clothing and gently used household items for resale. Pankiewicz has received proclamations from the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners and the Sebastian City Council for his contributions to the community. They have all kinds of things, pet supplies, furniture, household goods, a really scary clown collection, LOL. I found some of my grandmother's Royal Rose china. Odds and ends of things I didn't have like a salt and pepper shaker, and some little trays, and cups. I thought of a price I wanted to pay and it was exactly the price they came up with. This is a place you can feel comfortable bargaining at but remember your money is going to help the animals. A special thank you to Trevor, a sweet young man who patiently and carefully wrapped up my china for me. Love this organization! Please everyone come and support them!

This place is junk! I took furniture there household items xmas stugg clothes and they wouldn't take it! It was good stuff too. So much fr the cause!
