This review is for the DG Marketplace on Sapp Avenue which opened 8/2022. Reviews older then 8/2022 are for the old non-Marketplace store which closed.—-Good size store.They have meats, fruits, and a large selection of frozen foods. Hopefully they'll keep this one clean.

What's the point of having a phone and never answering it. Not like y'all busy with the registers cause of all the self check outs. I've been calling about my card for the longest answer your phone

Good variety of products but the line is often really long and they still only keep one register open instead of opening another. The card machine dislikes Community South cards so if you have one it will take more than one swipe to work. The parking lot is also really bad off so if you've got a vehicle that sits low to the ground be careful. Other than that the employees are excellent and super friendly. I'd give them 5 out of 5 stars.

For us Vernon people it's way better than the DG before. Bigger cleaner with more product.

Quick shopping is fine here, however the store is somewhat cluttered. Nice options for laundry detergents and paper supplies. Although it is wheelchair accessible i tbink the aisles would make it quite cumbersome.

You get a personal experience with friendly small town folks who will take care of your needs. The store carries up to date product while trimming the pricesMy favorite section is the dollar isle where they put a revolving product line and everything is a dollar. I always enjoy shopping their. Love mrs Candice and Mrs tori the two lil dudes are as kind and goofy as can be! Andy never shuts up! You can’t have a bad day around him unless he is this cause of it lol. But I think his name is Demitri well he is my favorite. one time my card was not working and that man paid my bill without missing a beat and didn’t embarrass me or humiliate me or hound me to hurry to the bank he told me bring it to him when I could it took two days to get it to him and he never once even asked about it. And I’m not talking a 5$ ticket it was well over 60$ so that kindness he showed me makes him my favorite him and Mrs Candice! She has several times pulled some change from her pocket to cover my kids pedilite.

Was able to get in and out quickly. Isles were a little congested with carts of merchandise but could maneuver around area without to much difficulty.

Was followed into the parking lot and accused of stealing by the cashier who took my money. After everything was worked out and I was found to not have stolen I left never to return again. They lost a regular customer over $7.50. No apologies given to me for the embarrassment caused by their accusations.

We stopped in here on the way back from the beach to let my son use the bathroom. The restrooms were clean because they keep them locked.

Store is always a mess and customers have to line up to the back of store before a cashier gets on the other register. And only then because someone complains.
