#1 reason to donate and shop here… proceeds go to helping pets in shelters! Everyday something is on sale. Prices are very reasonable and so far every time I’ve been in furniture is 50% off. Minimum of $15 to use a credit or debit card. Plenty of parking and helpful staff.

I question if they actually help animals :/ I think pricing is a bit high but they do color tag specials and can score something for a reasonable cost. This will not be my go to, Goodwill is better next door hands down. I hope they read these reviews and improve.

Dakota, the “manager” is extremely disrespectful. Sat up front of the store and poorly spoke on customers who spend their own money on things in the store, donating to the animals. But ever since becoming manager it’s no longer about the animals it’s all for profit and seems to be going to his own pocket. I feel sorry for people who purchase from here, I would go to thrift stores like EARS or project phoenix where the money is actually going back into the community and not into the managers pocket. Like other reviews, extremely uncomfortable environment. Not like it use to be. I would steer clear.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Terrible environment and terrible management Dakota specifically!! Fraud thrift store should be a consignment store with those prices!! Get all their product for free and charge $20 for clothes that smell like cigarettes and have stains. Extremely uncomfortable shopping environment will never go back

I love donating to and shopping at thrift stores that support pet rescues. This one was a major disappointment. Everything was greatly overpriced. The place was very unorganized, dirty and just overall, a mess. Man at counter was very unappreciative of clothes donation I brought and turned off a gentleman by being rude about his “baby donations” that apparently they do not accept. Then he said - do you have other stuff? and said he would be willing to see if he wanted any of it. The look on the man’s face after hauling that large high chair in- i don’t think he brought the rest in to them. For instance on prices - there was a dog gate, about 12-18” high wooden expandable. There were 3 of them $79.99 EACH - I’d say $12.99 would have been top price!! There was a book on Sarasota that was $38 new - they wanted $29! I think $4.99 would have been appropriate. There were ceramic bath toothbrush and soap holders - $14.99 EACH! I wouldn’t pay that for the set. They need some friendly people and maybe some adoptable pets roaming about, good cleaning, massive price reductions and a clearance sale to start fresh!

Do not bother dropping off donations here. Just take them to Goodwill a few doors down. This was once a caring shop to donate nice items to help raise money to help the animals at the shelter. Now it is run by crabby old women who run out to yell at people who try to bring donations. It is a shame what has happened to this store.

It is so unfortunate that some ill-informed, misguided individuals left one star reviews due to this store’s policy requiring temperature checks and masks during the height of the pandemic in an effort to keep people safe.This ICU RN applauds their initiative.The store is clean, well organized, and has terrific bargains. It also generates funds for a great cause.

This is a disgusting business would recommend nobody goes there also breaking rules and laws in forcing masks temperature check and Covid passports or vaccine cards to enter the store the two older ladies behind a desk then had an argument saying they couldn’t call the store we need to call it a Nonprofits AutoNation Depot so that they can enforce things like that because they’re not a store or business either way I would never do business with them again will never help this foundation again also the store has overpriced old used very used and dirty stuff or products

Very nice staff, store is as organized and we'll kept as it can be. Great assortment of items at amazing prices. I always go here before any other thrift store knowing they will usually have what I am looking for because of the selection! Especially when their special is 50% off the entire store...with a few exceptions...but not many. Once you go, you will definitely go back, plus a portion of your purchase goes to the Humane Society.

Been there before and love that it benefits the Humane Society. Plus, the fact that they asked for masks and temperature makes me certain that I am taking ALL of my items for donation to them. Clearly they care about animals and humans! Thank you for doing the right thing.

I love this store. I look here first when I'm thrifting, and usually I find exactly what I am looking for or an even better version of my idea. This store has furniture, clothing, books, home decor you name it they have it. They also always have amazing sales. Today there was a Coach purse that with the tuesday 20% off discount would have come to 15 dollars. A Louis Vuitton wallet (all genuine!) That was 49.99. They have a great selection and the employees are nice and obviously happy to be working there.

Great! Clean. Professional! And thankfully they instruct people to wear their masks some people tried to go in the store today without a mask. I'm so thankful that they stood by the rules not to let them shop without a mask!

Nice little thrift store but one employee didn’t like the fact that I was looking at labels on the clothes. She kept hovering and making comments the entire time I was looking. Then grabbed a sweater out of my hand pretending to admire it but apparently wiped her lunch on it. When I arrived at home it had fresh stains (peanut butter?) that weren’t there when I took it off the rack. It sounds crazy but there’s no other time it could have happened. She also said I could try everything on in the bathroom but I didn’t ask for a fitting room. I don’t know if she was trying to intimidate me or what but the whole experience was bizarre. I won’t be going back.

A wonderful place to shop, did you know 90% of everything taken in go to the animals. Yes you can go to Goodwill next door where the CEO makes over 2 million, and the people whom work there are making slave wages. The review below posted she walked into the store at closing time and was upset they wanted to close. First of all princess these are all volunteers working there, and need to get home to pets and children. The second thing princess who walks into a store right near closing time , go try to walk into Saks and say I just want to look around, I'm sure they would be very happy to stay open so you could make them late getting home ,types like u are lookers or as we call them tire kickers. I bet u have never had to sell retail. This store is filled with volunteers giving there time to help the animals.

Stopped in today on way home from the beach and was going to buy some items and the help was extremely RUDE! I ended the sale at the register when the man running the register told me basically to hurry up and pay!!! Walked out and he was old enough to to know better !

Great store. They are having a half off sale currently. The people who work there are very nice. If you buy something it helps the doggies and the kitties.

I always fotget about this placeThe kind of store where you pick up a pair of Sarengetti drivers for 1.99. Great prices, very helpful staff, and its all goes to the humane society. America at its best.

a real treat to shop here. merch wise, vintage 1985 prices... always seems to be a sale runnin' to make deals even mo' better. incredibly faithful staff/volunteeers... ask what happened when $6,000 was found inna coat pocket... you can't beat the cause for our animal friends

Super cute shop and the staff was friendly but the prices were crazy high! Wanted to support the humane society but the few things we looked at were in pretty rough shape but more expensive than what you would pay new at Walmart.

People make up an organization and I believe the people at suncoast humane society in Englewood florida are the best. It's Not just a job working there. That's the feeling I got from them. They live all the little animals.
