This is a beautiful market. They have all kinds of foods from candy to coffee . The deli meets and cuts looked very good. I thought everything looked good. It is not an inexpensive market, but you get get what you pay for. I recommend and will go back. 👍🏾

Fresh Market is an upscale grocery store, with good quality produce, extensive meat, seafood, deli and wine selections. The in-house bakery has a nice selection of breads, pastries and deserts. In this store, more imported items are found, which makes shopping a bit more interesting.

The Lithia location of The Fresh Market is my absolute favorite place to buy food. Everybody is friendly and helpful and it's rarely crowded. I drive over an hour each way to shop here. The meat is the best around, outside of a specialty store.

Recently discovered I have a gluten allergy, so went on the hunt for a speciality grocery store. This was my first time at any Fresh Market. The store is clean, organized, not crowded, and there is a wide variety of organic/gluten free products. I was really interested in the aisle that had all sorts of different marinades as well as the frozen section! The employees were very nice as well.Why I am giving 3 stars: when I made it to the dairy section to look at milk, I noticed the majority was already expired by a day.. I went to the meat section and there was a faint rotten odor.. I purchased some chips, they were expired (3/13/21).. Also, the prices were just a tad high but sale items were reasonable.I will most likely return because they did have some unique products- but not for any dairy or meat products, and make sure to double check the expiration dates. I didn’t save the receipt so I will just toss the chips, just wanted to make the store aware!

Very disappointed yesterday when I went to buy a roasted chicken, there were none available for 45 minutes. This was at about 1pm. Seems like poor planning when this was the day for the $6 chickens.

I am quite disappointed by the management team for the last few weeks. On August 27th, when I was checking out my groceries, I entered my Debit Card, the machine gave a notice of "NOT AUTHORIZE" and the Cashier asked me to pay it again. I then chose to use a Credit Card instead. As usual, I did not take my receipt with me. When I went home, realized that I was charged twice on both Debit Card and the Credit Card that I used. I called immediately to let the management team know and offered them that I could come back to the store (on the same day the transaction was made); however, the manager said to wait till the next day to confirm if the payment was processed or not. Called back on Monday and informed the same manager that the charge had went through, he asked me to stop in and they would take care of it. On Tuesday, went into the store in person brought both my cards, and spoke to the floor manager, he asked me to write my name and phone number down, so he can send it to the corporate for them to investigate. He sated that someone will call me in few hours, comes Friday, still no one cared to call from either the corporate office or the store itself. I called the guest services myself and spoke with a helpful lady - sent her a screen shot of the crages from my accounts and we are on Monday again, I still have not received my refund nor a courtsey call.I am completey disappointed by the customer service I have received so far; especially, I have been shopping from this location since they were opened.

I'd like to first mention Scott who works in the meat department! He is always so welcoming and helpful when we call in and pickup orders for meat. This evening my car battery died in front of the store. My husband was at work in Lakeland and trying to make it to me and my 4 kids. During his break, Scott noticed that we were trying to jump start our car and offered tons of helpful advice and helped us get our suv started. I cannot thank him enough!!! ❤️Everyone at this store has always been so welcoming and accommodating to our family. We take a 45 minute drive here once a week, and will definitely continue!

Lately I've been very disappointed at the Valrico store with the desserts. The cakes are stale and taste like they've been sitting around for awhile - Fresh Market used to be my go to for fresh/tasty desserts but looks like I will need to find another store.

This market is a great place to hit for their bakery and their prepared foods. We wanted to grab some bakery pies for Thanksgiving, and while they did not have the pumpkin pecan, they did still have a variety to choose from! This is an entire market with produce, meats, and dry shelf goods inclusive of organic, vegan, and gluten free.

Great place to pick up your Sunday dinner for 14.99 feeds 4 people. chicken dinner meal., you get one whole rotisserie chicken, two medium sides and 6 cornbread muffins

Went there for an interview for deli tried to call several times to find out the status of it and nobody answers the phone. I know that store is not busy I have been in there before on weekdays and hardly nobody there. That is not the way to hire potential employees and leave them hanging.

UPDATE:As mentioned previously, our first Pepperoni Pizza was very good. Or second Pepperoni Pizza bought 2 weeks later was not so good, very little sauce, too little pepperoni and too much cheese. When discussing the making of the prepared pizza with a deli person, they’re made upstairs, he mentioned that different employees make them differently.There should be a company stated “recipe” that employees should follow.We bought a couple Fresh Market Individual Chicken Pot Pies ($5.99 ea).Disappointed! Very little meat, a lot of crust. Blake’s Chicken Pot Pies (other markets) are much better at less than $4 ea.On the other hand, their Thursday $5 pepperoni pizza is very good.

there is nothing upscale about Non-Organic overpriced items.Every now and then I hear from my friends who "dont look at prices" that they have some organic grapes or apricots during the summer months.I genuinely want to like Fresh Market. When i call to check if they have an Organic ingredient, you would think i was speaking another language.I don't understand how Fresh Market is still open.Just go to Whole Foods.This is basically Erewhon prices with Walmart quality items. Erewhon at least has organic options.

We love the fresh market. Great place to get all of your grocery needs and then some. Amazingly fresh produce, deli counter and plenty of organic items to choose from.We've always been greeted with a hello and friendly smile, and when cashing out everyone is so friendly. The manager went out of his way to inform us about some products and was also extremely polite.A refreshing change to the ordinary grocery store experience. I'd give 6 🌟 if I could.

What a great place to get healthy food. All the organic and Non GMO a family could want. Be sure to enjoy this excellent place with mouth watering food. I'm very impressed with the freshness and quality which competes well with the great Irish and Spain's food we have had.Well Done Fresh Market. 5 Stars.

Super clean with friendly staff, little pricey but they have great cuts of meat. Again it's little but more money but the quality is a lot better so it depends on what your wanting to spend. The Bakery section is very helpful, behind the pastry counter always seems to have to sweetest employees.

I love this grocery store , the service is good in general, the only incident it was a mean cashier today but not big deal maybe she was having a bad day. The products are great , just some items are little pricy, I usually buy groceries at other place just come to the fresh market once or twice a month , the floral department is beautiful and the deserts and wines are great !

I have been there several times. The selection of things I prefer to eat are good. The meats have not let me down. The best part of this place are the staff. I have not had a bad experience with the staff yet. The cashier's really take an interest in engaging you and making sure you had a good experience. I know I can find the same foods at other establishments but the staff really make me want to come back.

A little pricey on most items, but the quality is great! The staff are very kind and helpful, and their food tastes awesome! Also, their plants are a VERY good deal. For example I bought a miniature rose bush here for only $6 and aloe vera for only $5! Great job Fresh Market!

If you've never been to Fresh Market, you should go for the meats, produce and unique Fresh Market dry goods.Their daily specials are fantastic, better than Publix. Each day is something different. They have $5.00 rotisserie chicken on Thursday, excellent!They're not a typical grocery store because they don't carry a variety of items you'd find in a supermarket,Mainly food.
