This Publix is the greatest and rocks at everything they do besides the sub area. We’ve preordered a few times and never is it on time. Once waited 45 minutes after promised time with lack of communication and no one knew what was going on or making us a priority. Here we are again today, went to pick up my order at customer service and had to come and wait and line for my sub after promised time just to talk to someone and then they finally started making it ten minutes after due time.

Just wanted to give a a special shoutout to Sol in the sub department today. She made my hubby an awesome BLT. For me a beautiful salad sub without the bread. She layered all the colors and chopped up the vegetables. It was beautiful! I should have taken a picture. Nice and sweet lady.Thank you.

Well I just love Publix in general. The price are a bit higher then most grocery stores but the bakery, deli, oh god don't let me forget that the produce is so perfectly picked that I don't mind a little extra. I can't get enough of how great that the employee are awesome to there customers. That means a lot. Good job Publix. Show them other stores how it's done.

I’m a weekly shopper and ever week Gracie in the deli just doesn’t seem to understand how to properly cut my meat when asked. Weekly I ask for the meat and cheese to be very thin with no papers..she always with out a doubt cuts it so thick to where my whole pound is only 8 slices…One week she told me I HATE THIS CHEESE..

I am disappointed in the timing of the of the sub makers. I ordered 2 chicken tender subs to be picked up at 12:50. They were made at separate times because they ran out of chicken. 1st off they were ordered together why would you make one without the other? 2nd I'm not sure of the cook time but i didn't think they were properly stocked on food because my 2nd sandwich wasn't ready till 1:25! I understand they were busy. I understand being a couple minutes late on pickup time but that was over a half hour late. I was very unhappy about that. Had i known it was gonna take that long i wouldn't have ordered that. My husband couldn't even finish his because he was gonna be late for work n if he was a half hour late that would've been a problem! Sorry but people are on a schedule that's why they are ordering the food in advance. The wonderful girl that assisted me understood my time situation n waved the charge for the second sandwich which was nice but it still left me disappointed. The subs were delicious but I will think twice about ordering again. Dependability is also very important. Time is money.

Pharmacy is #1 since they got rid of the dark haired idiot Pharmacy manager or maybe assistant manager. She was a very ignorant incompetent idiot, I would like to know who thought she was management qualified. Store is also great customer service.

This is for the pharmacy specifically- I can’t speak to the store. We recently transferred from another Publix after moving. I would not recommend the pharmacy because of the pharmacist. She discouraged me from getting a medication my doctor suggested, and also treated my husband poorly while he was trying to fill a prescription on two separate occasions- for two different medications. At one point she told him they don’t have enough medication for their local patients- let alone “people like you”. I’m not even sure what that means- we moved from a Publix 10 mins away. Went directly to a different Publix and filled the prescription without a problem. We will be switching back to the other Publix…

I found out that walmart would not fill my prescription due to blocking the Dr.I asked my Dr. to call the prescription over it over to Publix in Valrico off rte 60. I go there today to pick up my prescription, that was called over to Publix several days ago. The pharmacy told me they can't fill my prescription because there is a shortage of the drug and what they do have is for there customers. How unethical. Thanks Publix, I guess I'm not a customer??

I was visiting the town and I was in need of dry ice and went to Publix Valrico and was assisted by Kylie who went above and beyond to help me find dry ice. We need more people like Kylie in this world and Publix. Kylie needs an increase in her pay rate. Because people like Kylie is why I’m a Publix customer. Great job Kylie!

Can't complain about any of their stores which seems to be the theme in Florida. Always clean, fresh items prices can be nuts but we know the reason for that and some asked for it smh but the good thing is there's one where your can get some craft beer etc and drink while you shop. By the time you get to the register I promise you will feel better about the prices😅

Clean and no bad odors. I'm sensitive to smells. Variety of items. Fresh produced compared to other stores(no name a mentioned) items. MULTIPLE cases of meats,already prepared and ready for grilling. Love the coupons on line, digital and for printing. Who doesn't love to save. Loads of BOGO everyday.Saving on Pet food today..Love that. Maybe changing where I shop ACTUALLY. Pharmacy, dishes , pot/pans, etc...Good store.

I really feel like Publix ( me being a loyal customer since '84) is dropping their standards. Instacart makes so many mistakes and the prices are outrageous! When I'm in the store, they are out of many items each time I shop. Today was the last straw, as there were at least 10 people in line for lottery tickets and the lines need to be separated for those who need customer service and a separate line for lottery ticket buyers. It's ridiculous and should have already been addressed by Management on busy days. Furthermore, the self checkout does not take cash! What? That's archaic! With the $ Publix has , it needs to change that ASAP. I'm starting to shop at Winn Dixie now and then simply because their prices across the board are lower. It seems every item I pick up costs 5 to 10 bucks when 2 years ago, the price of the exact same item was almost half. Publix will start losing great customers if they don't make some much need changes. I now go to the Dollar Tree for my paper goods, soap, household cleaners and general household supplies. They are a quarter of the price at Publix.

I've always had great experiences at this Publix since 2017. Today was a very subpar experience. I was there today around 2pm to pickup a preordered birthday cake. The employee was unattentive. Instead of greeting he kept speaking with a female employee and did not offer to ring up the item at pickup. It's unlikely I'll return. The writing on the cake was also sloppy and not continuous.

There pharmacy os the absolute worse!! They won't answer their phones and if by chance they do..they won't even acknowledge you and your put immediately on hold and then eventually they just disconnect the phone. They will not call to transfer a RX and just tell you to call your doctor and get a new script. They are rude and just plain terrible. You end up having to drive there and again they act like you are bothering them..Go somewhere else!!!!

Exceptional customer service!! We ordered a couple sandwich trays and a tray of cookies for the a celebration of life for my father, when we went to pick up the trays, the cookie tray was not completed and was going to take another 30 minutes to make. The manager Holden informed us of this, we let him know that was too close to the start time of the celebration to come back and get them, and to our surprise he got our address and delivered the tray to our house. It is rare when someone goes above and beyond and he certainly did!

I have to say that nine times out of 10 at this deli my order is late. My pick up time was 2:15 PM today at 2:37 PM. I went to the customer service desk and it was not ready. Although this upset me quite a bit. It was the lack of actual customer service that really upset me. When I complained, one employee just looked at me and turned around and walked away. Another employee ignored me. One lady was nice enough to show me that she found the order and pointed it out to her manager but I never got one apology from anyone. If it was a one time thing, no big deal, but it happens too frequently. Needless to say, I will be changing stores.

I moved to Valrico in 2001 when Danny Cribs was the store manager very nice man. Today the store manager is nice . Some of the employees that work there I go the other way to avoid them there customer service is so poor. It's just not the same

Can there be more people working at the sub counter during lunch and dinner times. I’ve consistently been waiting 25+ minutes every time. Typically there is only one person working on the in store orders and one doing online orders.3 stars bc the rest of the grocery store is great.

I love this Publix. Always clean and organized. All cashiers very professional, friendly and helpful. Very varied and the food is fresh. The variety in each aisle is remarkable. In addition to having a liquor store outside, there is also a small area inside, next to the produce, with a good assortment of wines.
