This store (in Valrico on 60) is a DISASTER! Is corporate even aware of issues here? There are no excuses for a store like this to even open the doors to the public. 1 star is way too high a rating. This store should be closed by the county or state for OSHA and safety violations.

Not bad, it's not the cleanest store in the world, but at $1.25 per item, it's fine. Not too crowded. Lots of stuff. Cute Halloween decor and whatnot. Cool arts n crafts for the kiddos. So for what it is, I easily give it 4 stars.

There is a young blonde girl in the front ringing out people, she’s extremely friendly. There is a younger brunette that rings up in the front and she is extremely friendly and helpful. There is an extremely miserable member of Management that gives the entire place a one star. She looks miserable like she would rather actually die than be there, and she treats your customers in that very same manner. I offered multiple employees there a job that I’m sure pays significantly more than working for a miserable chaos inducing old lady. Do better with your management. Hire someone that smiles that is willing to help the 50 people waiting in line to check out, there is only one lonely cashier. Who manages this place? Flamingos could do a better job.

Most of the time this store has boxes on the ground in the aisles, the seasonal section up front is cleared out, the aisles have product in half the places at best and there's only one person checking out and the line is 7+ people long. Something has recently changed because now the seasonal section is half full, the aisles have product representing about 80% of the space and the boxes are only stacked in a few spots. The lines are still long. This shot actually had 9 people in line with one register. It was every single shopper in the store. As a former store manager myself I might be a little overly critical but I know the rule is "two or more call for help" and this store is the worst of the 35 or so dollar trees I've been to at following that rule. Still. You can't beat the candy variety at this price, and cheap toys that you don't mind breaking in a few days, or that beer mug (actually really quality) for your collection. Those are available in any dollar tree though, so I will just rate this one on its performance. Hope it keeps getting better!

Just had a register line close in front of me. I was already standing on line and the closed sign was put up. I said, "I'm not moving. Then the register opened up next to us. I moved there. The other cashier, an older man said, "this ain't Macy's ".I said, doesn't have to be Macy's to have courtesy. This was the rudest behavior I have witnessed there. Just because the store is the The Dollar Tree, customers shouldn't expect to be treated poorly.Shame on you. Plenty other locations to go to.

The dollar tree in Valrico is an accident waiting to happen, I live close by, but now have to go elsewhere. The ceiling is falling in. The roof leaks 3 aisles are closed off due to roof damage. This has been like this for 2 months. The bathroom is a disaster.Maybe the roof will get fix when it falls on someone. VERY SAD

It's nasty and dirty there, there's never any help. Manager on her personal phone! Nothing is in the right place, and the lady with the pink hair could have helped the register since the line was in the middle of the isle. But she was on her personal phone chatting instead of working. I think y'all need to think about firing and rehiring new people

Today I was shopping at the Dollartree here in Valrico. I wanted an item that was on a very top shelf and could not reach it so I went to the front of the store. The manager was standing by the cashiers booth doing a task. I said excuse me, and he looked up then turned away. So I asked the cashier if I could get some help because I couldn’t reach an item on the top shelf. . She asked him to help and he immediately coped an attitude. It was apparent that he didn’t want to help me. He kept sighing and was very unpleasant. He had to get a step stool to reach it and he shook his head in disgust while throwing his head back walking to the closet it retrieve it. Then slammed the item down and walked away. I asked the cashier if he was the manager. She said yes and I said he was very rude. She said that I wasn’t the first person to say that and he was like that to others. I asked her if he realized that customers were the people who paid his wages. We visit that store at least three times a week. Higher management should really look into a new position for him. He has no customer service skills what so ever.

Took my kids into the store this evening to get coloring books and some crafts to do for the weekend. We shop here very frequently and have become use to the less than friendly employee experience but nothing so bad as to make us feel unwelcome , until tonight. The MOD approached us and said "we kinda close at 9" i looked at my watch it was 9:07 i apologized and we immediately went to check out. (Had i realized the time we wouldnt have been shopping still) I apologized to the cashier while checking out and thanked them numerous times while he scanned our items . not once did the cashier respond to anything i said not even a youre welcome. We will not be returning.

This store #4744 need to start checking the Expiration dates on the food in the selves!! It taste funny and it smells too! And when you address it to the employee, she had an attitude?! 🤨 My gosh the date was 07/12/2203?? What?! 😏🤦🏻‍♀️ Please check the expiration that’s all I’m saying, before you’ll poison someone!! Thank you!!

Pretty good selection. The craft section and food section is fantastic but the toy section for girls is kinda sparse. Just if they don't like Barbies and stuff there isn't much selection.

Not sure what is going on with this store, but I have never seen it so cluttered and dangerous for customers to even walk around. I guess they had a truck arrive and they were stacking boxes all over the store, blocking aisles and some of the boxes were 5 high and leaning...talk about a hazard. Then, upon check out they only had one cashier and 20 people in line!! The cashier said she tried to get help but no one responded. Apparently, unloading the truck and cluttering the aisle is more important than customer service. I will not be returning to this location again. They just do not seem to care about appearance or professionalism.

It was a very good experience.The cashier Carmen didnt have any customers and I told her I needed help on finding a birthday card for my Husband. She was gracious to walk with me over to the cards and way down on the bottom they only had 4 Husband cards.I like that you carry Hallmark Cards for a dollar.I did also get my Grandchildren all 10 of them Halloween and Thanksgiving cards and many other items.I really have fun when I go to the Dollar Tree Store.

The cashier was humming the entire checkout and wasn't welcoming AT ALL. She held on to my bag until, my purchase went thru completely as if I wasn't going to be able to pay, & once the receipt came out she then, handed me my bag. I had just got off WORK and trust n believe.... if I wanted to steal, outta ALL places it wouldn't be the damn dollar tree!!😂😂

A lot of clutter. Aisles were a mess. Bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Smelled VERY rank and rancid.Update: bathrooms completely closed. Aisles still a cluttery mess. Not to mention prices went up to $1.25 and heard rumor of going up to $1.50.

I have never been treated more disrespectfully than I just was at the dollar tree store on 60 in Valrico. (And I'm 74 years old)I just wanted a birthday balloon for my daughter and all that I saw were Valentine's Day balloons. I waited in line, then ask the cashier if i could get a birthday balloon. She said no! I told her there were a few, but I would need a string. She told me no again. No birthday balloons for sale today

In and out and found more than I needed. They are getting ready for fall with the beautiful colors. They Still have school supplies if u need notebooks and such. They were stocking a few Halloween items. Nice selection of wrapping paper. Busy as usual but didnt take long.

Extremely surprised they have so many good reviews. Every time I come in here, you can clearly tell everyone who works there is miserable and hates their job. I came in a few months ago and asked for an application and the lady goes "Fine let me go get one for you" like I was the most annoying person ever. When I went back later to drop it off with another woman, she just went "K thanks." Really? Needless to say, they never called me back :) Extremely rude, miserable people. As I said, Im extremely surprised they have so many good reviews.

I ran by here tonight to grab a couple things and I have to say that the store was clean, the staff was great!! I accidentally handed the cashier $60. Instead of$40. And she quickly let me know!! Thank you!!

Went on Sunday with my husband and the cashier named Gloria was extremely rude! I respect old people, but this one needs to be fired! What a horrible attitude to customers. She is such a condescending WITCH! I'll never shop this Dollar Tree again!

The store was low on stocked merchandise but there were cart of items waiting to put on the shelves. In all fairness, they employees are always short staffed. I'll shop there again.
