The pharmacy at CVS Valrico FL is absolutely the BEST! Lisa, the Head Tech was so patiently helpful and able to reduce our cost for a prescription by hundreds of dollars. All of the pharmacy staff are amazing! The front desk people are always patient and friendly in every way. Thank you CVS!!!

The Pharmacy Attendant was a little course as if she was having a terrible day and wanted to get rid of me. As I approached the service desk, her tone was uninviting as she stated the generic welcome. With an expression as if she didn’t want to be there, she asked what was my info. When I informed her I was inquiring about 4 medications she didn’t even let me finish my inquiry and said there were only two. When I attempted to inform her of the other two she cut me off and said there were only two as I calmly completed my interrupted sentence she stated that I needed to step over with her to the consultant window and pull it up. She then stated it will take an hour. I thanked her and left. All throughout I believed she felt she was doing her job. Technically, she was. I also know that certain customers can really be challenging and that being in a retail setting can also play a part. This was from far from the case in my scenario. Her customer service was a 3 out of 10. I don’t blame her. I am an assistant director and if my staff is treating clients (patients) in that manner, I see it as a reflection on how she is valued as an employee. Whether this be the situation or not. I wouldn’t have her attend any client in the state she was conducting herself or her facial expression.For the record, this has happened not only to myself. It has happened to my wife as well and for that reason I plan on transitioning to another pharmacy other than CVS.I sure do hope the staffing dynamics improve in your facility.

I go here very often, it’s always clean and the staff are usually kind & professional. This store often have the “sales” and “deals” up front which are nice too. Good neighborhood CVS

Apparently I should have read the reviews 1st.Went to CVS to pick up scripts. 1st time they told me my Dr. sent script to mail order. I call my Dr. to have it sent to CVS and they inform me that they sent it to the pharmacy NOT mail order.Back to CVS I go. This time they tell me it's on HOLD. I ask why? She has to go to ANOTHER terminal to see why. She comes back and says Out of Stock.How can it be out of stock? Especially since they've had the script for 3 weeks? Attendant says they have a backlog of scripts waiting ahead of mine. After 3 weeks?So I tell them to transfer scripts to Publix to which I am told they can't.Ok. I call my Dr. and she sends it to Publix and I pick my medications same day.Clearly this pharmacy is severely mismanaged. From wasting my time tracking down prescriptions they were already in possession of, to failing to fill prescription or notifying customer of aleged delays, unpleasant staff and excuses.CVS no one is buying the supply chain excuse anymore. You need to find solutions not excuses.

Last Friday (June 2nd 2023) I had a scheduled appointment for a 2nd dose of hepatitis a/b vaccine. After waiting for the pharmacist to prepare, I was told the dose on hand had expired. I was told a new dose would be ordered and they would schedule a new appointment for me the following Monday at the same time. Monday came and went without a call or an appointment scheduled. I took it upon myself to schedule a new appointment today (June 7th 2023). When I arrived, I was informed I had scheduled my appointment at the wrong location. I asked if they had availability to sneak me in if possible and was told they need to verify they have it first. I was a little shocked since it was supposed to be ordered 5 days earlier with a presumed arrival date of Monday June 5th. Finally, I was told that the vaccine was not there. If you are looking for vaccines for international travel, I would not rely on CVS.

A simple phone call is too much trouble for this pharmacy. Meds are on back order and they won’t reach out to the doctor to get the script switch. It’s sad we have to deal with this.People get your scripts fill at a different cvs. It’s not worth it.These e-scripts make these pharmacies lazy. And they training new people that way

The pharmacy filled a prescription for my 4 year old kid with a medicine that’s about to expire. Since the medication was wrapped in a bag I didn’t check the expiry until I got home. I returned to the store within 15 mins, they Initially refused to take back the medication but eventually they have taken back the medication. The pharmacist mentioned that they don’t have any medication available and I requested them to transfer the medication to another CVS pharmacy, he mentioned that the medication was placed on Hold and I can pick it up from any CVS pharmacy. The most frustrating part is none of the other CVS pharmacies could see the medication since this store had done something. I tried reaching out to CVS Caremark customer care and they could see the medication but were unable to transfer that to another CVS pharmacy. Now I need to get another prescription from the provider sent to a different pharmacy.

Jody was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G with a capital A she was very knowledgeable about the coupons and was able to see a fantastic combination that truly saved us the most money we really felt appreciated as customers.She also took so much time with us and helped with informing us about the carepass and all those promotional coupons. Jody was very attentive and extremely empathetic in knowing how important it was for us to maximize our deals this trip just moving to the area.Please pass on the message and get her the recognition she deserves I will make sure the proper channels at CVS know this and that her great service gets rewarded kindness and respect is really hard to come by these days we left very satisfied 10/10 experience.

The employees in the Pharmacy are extremely rude and lack basic customer service. I simply was trying to use a prescription saving card towards medication. I was told the card had expired and I had been using at another Pharmacy without any issues. The Pharmacy employee did not try to call to resolve the issue. I was told to reprint a new card and come back. I called the savings card and was told my card was active until 4/2023. I went back to Pharmacy and advised. The same Pharmacy employee told me to print a new card and come back. After going home and re-registered for a new card went back to the Pharmacy to be literally fussed out by another Pharmacy employee that the card was not active. I have a Masters degree and can read plus I have been a Customer Service manager for over 20 years. The store employees were great but the Pharmacy staff are despicable.

My CVS is clean, organized, well stocked and has friendly, helpful employees who greet you both when you enter and leave the store. Pharmacy staff is top notch! Sale items almost always available too.

If I could give no stars I would! Went CVS to purchase products using my OTC benefits from insurance. Had multiple products in my basket and had a question regarding one of them. I asked the cashier if one product was covered under my insurance. She scanned the item and completely checked it, out printing receipt. The product was only $5. I get $25 per month using my OTC benefits but if not all spent at one time you lose the remainder. She called someone over to help her and they were not able to correct the issue. They gave me two phone numbers to call one with CVS and one was through my insurance. Now I have to spend my time tomorrow calling these numbers and waiting on hold for who knows how long to get this hopefully rectified. To add insult to injury, I explained what happened to the person who came to assist her and she repeatedly corrected me telling her that she did not check it out that that's what the machine does when you scan something. This is not correct, I have had to check others in the past. Very upset!

This CVS doesn’t even deserve a star! Very poor customer service skills! Wait time on the phone is ridiculous. Typically on hold for 20 to 30 min. I have been hung up on and redirected to voicemail after being on hold for 30 min. And this wait time happens every time I call! Staff don’t apologize for the wait. They out right say they are under staffed and don’t have time to even hear your complaint. Yesterday “It’s 5 o’clock I don’t have time for this. We only have 3 people working. What do you want! “ All’s it takes is to say SORRY FOR THE WAIT! As soon as I can I am changing to a different pharmacy. And I have been using CVS for years. I am done with there rudeness. It happens to often. I work with the public and pharmacies all the time. You all need to take a class in customer service! I will also be contacting management!

I used the pharmacy only this time. I went inside because the drive through had about 3 cars in it and I find it faster to go inside to drop off percsriptions most of the time. They welcomed me when I walked in I went to pharmacy dropped off script & was out in minutes. Prescription was ready in one hour

I have been coming to this cvs pharmacy for a very long time. The employees are very nice and when I walk up to the pharmacy they always say hello and use my name. These employees work very hard always treat me well. I can say i know them all also by name and to me it's a nice pplace to feel like home. Thank you to all of the people who work hard to keep everything rolling in this CVS pharmacy.

“Laurie” I was told was her name by her coworkers who was working in the pharmacy not only laughed at my girlfriend and I for asking questions . After her retrying my Medicare card and saying there’s a problem 3 times , I said “this is ridiculous. I’ll go somewhere else.” . Before I can go to turn and walk away, Laurie starts screaming from inside of the pharmacy telling me and my girlfriend “to get out of her store!” . Even other coworkers have said she is problem & 2 people have quit because of her. I LOVED that CVS but I will never ever go again. Disgusting.

On 12/22/20 around 3:30pm I went through the drive-thru of CVS (located at 2109 FL-60 East, Valrico) with a prescription for a pain med (a narcotic) to be filled. My husband had just had surgery earlier that afternoon & was in the car with me. I was told they did not have the pain med in stock & it would be at least the following week before they had it in stock. I was also told to call other local area CVS stores to ensure the item was in stock before I drove all over town.Already frustrated, the following morning I did as suggested. I spent a total of three hours on the phone only to learn that other CVS pharmacies will not disclose whether or not they have narcotics in stock. As well, all other locations spoke to me (via phone) as if I was an unsavory pill-head trying to score my next hit or planning some nefarious activity (I am former law enforcement so this attitude was not imagined by me). It was suggested I drive around to all local area CVS stores to inquire in person about the prescription. Seriously? In the insane traffic on December 23? Another option suggested was to have our doctor's office call to find out which store had the prescription in stock (I'm certain this should have worked well, not!). These "brilliant" suggestions (and the aforementioned prejudicial attitude) came from the three following store locations:- 1010 Bloomingdale Avenue, Valrico- 909 East Lumsden Road, Brandon- 715 East Brandon Blvd, BrandonPerhaps Management at the CVS located at 2109 FL-60 East in Valrico should require the millennials working the Pharmacy to spend a little more time in training so they know how to truthfully & accurately handle customer service when a person is in pain from two-hour old surgery.

Store 03660 is my favorite CVS store in the area .. The front and pharmacy staff are always so helpful .. Very coupon friendly . They help make me feel welcomed .

Hands down the WORST costumer service. How is it possible that this is the only store that doesn’t do even item exchanges. Even though I have done it at this location and many other before. I’m not sure if the cashier didn’t want to do the extra work (which she gets paid for) or isn’t trained properly. Absolutely ridiculous. Save yourself the trouble and gas and visit the other two locations in the area who have better costumer service and are more than happy to help.

The pharmacist tech I spoke with on the phone at 3:30 - 3:35 PM on September 13th,2021 was one of the rudest person I’ve ever encountered. Asked for help, explained the situation in detail and received a condescending tone. She did not want to help at all. These types of people are the absolute worst.

Customer service sucked. The cashier’s name was Angela and I was confused about something and Instead of addressing what I was confused about I said nevermind keep on with the transaction and I look at the cashier and she made a face. Trying to make me feel stupid in a way. This was my first time visiting this cvs and will never go back. Some people shouldn’t work in customer service if they don’t have any people skills. I have a home cvs and all their cashiers are awesome and I love cvs. It’s a shame I let this 1 cashier get to me by me not returning here anymore.

The pharmacy staff is rude and condescending. I personally do not use them, but I frequently pick medication for my grandchildren and have yet had a decent interaction with them Either dropping off or picking up medications.

Long waits inside and outside in the Drive-Thru poor service and a lot of excuses this CVS is not very good....and they just keep getting worse. Lost all my registration info for the vaccine and now I wait forever which is becoming a regular habit over here.

I don't have medical insurance, so when I went to pick up my prescription it was $47. Without me even asking, the pharmacy tech Applied a discount card and got my prescription down to $16. What a blessing!

Called 4 times one day to check on a prescription that was supposed to be on auto refill, spent over 1.5 hours on hold during all 4 calls and still never got the call answered. Been out of my meds for 3 days now.

Right off the bat i was looked at like a drug addict and I am LIVID ! My doctor prescribed 2 narcotics one to keep taking because I have been on it so long and one for long lasting . <<<<So they could take me OFF of the first one . They are RUDE , inconsiderate people aka the pharmacist .I am in CHRONIC PAIN and have been since 2012 , I think the DOCTORS know what they are doing ! The pharmacist thought i took too much ! SHE thought I took too much...Ummm...you are not a doctor , as you even said , you dont know how any drugs work per person ..My doctor doesw everything LEGAL ! THIS was horrible and nothing but a hassle . I will make sure that NO one that I know goes into that hell store . Dont treat your customers like garbage ! You should be ASHAMED of yourselves ! Not everyone is a messed up drug addict !
