A large Goodwill with zero cell phone signal inside. The parking lot is tight. Prices are kinda all over the place. Tons of clothes and small selection of books. Stopped in a few times and it was never busy.

The prices they put on the stuff lately is just insane.. $289 for a dresser… $99 for an Eagle award. $40 per chair in a set of 2. I get they need to make a profit as a Business, but it’s becoming pure greed considering they get it all free.Edit: they now raised their prices again as of April 7th.. movies are now $5 Walmart has a $5 bin with the same movies but brand new.Idk who is pricing the stuff but marking them near the prices you find on line is sad.

This is such a sad excuse for people helping people. Found furniture, and we were told by Mr. Carl & Ms. Malienia that they were extremely short staffed. We offered our assistance to load a dresser and a wood tv dresser at the backdoor/donating area. CARL & Maliena were very nice and helped us as much as possible. Three others were rude, hateful and wouldn't lift a finger to help. The blue haired young female and the other older lady were upset because we were coming through the back entrance to help the workers put our furniture on a dolly. Extremely nasty voices. Please, folks, take a course and learn how NOT to treat customers. We will never return to this store. Extremely Sad & disrespectful workers. Never Again!

The store is going under renovation right now. Three stars because although the staff was friendly, there was that lack of, only 2 people working and a long line for check out. Also the prices are very high compared to the Goodwill in Destin.

Clean and organized store, decent prices, and tons of merchandise to pick from! The employees are fun, helpful, and courteous and the store manager is awesome! I can tell the employees love their jobs, their coworkers, and their boss. Says a lot about the store manager. I love this store!

So, I hadn't visited the store in over a year and had no plans of doing so until, my mom called to tell me they had a very nice futon for my client. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the store has been completely rearranged. They have it nicely spaced out with social distancing markings on the floor, ( they even have papertowels sitting outside the door for you to use to open the door😁). It is no longer junky and janky looking, making it easier to browse. I purchased the futon, which was nicely priced and in great condition..plus a few other things that I told myself I couldn't live without. I didn't see any familiar faces, but ALL the new ones I encountered were AMAZING! From Loren on the register, to sweet Lauren (and another super sweet woman whose name I did not catch) on the floor, all the way out the door to Amanda and Zach, the WONDERFUL duo that loaded the futon on the truck for me. I was so impressed. I had to know who was responsible for all these great changes and that is when I met Heather, the manager. She was just as DELIGHTFUL! I can now honestly say, if you are looking for gently used items that are fairly priced give our Goodwill a try! Kudos Y'ALL!😘 Keep up the good work!!

I just spent an hour in this Goodwill maybe longer with a four-year-old. I probably had about $50 worth of items but I can't say for sure what my total was because when I didn't have a price on it at all anywhere on it. And I told the cashier that when I place the item on the counter. The only thing really in the entire cart that my four-year-old wanted and that I also want him to have! Cashier said if it doesn't have a price we probably won't be able to sell it she said I could probably just set a price? And the other cashier said oh no! They're watching that like a hawk! at that point I didn't take anything else out of the cart and we left the building. So here's my advice about 'watching things like a hawk!' What would be nice is if whoever is bringing things out on the floor pays attention and is actually 'watching like a hawk' those items coming out without price tags and prices them accordingly'watching like a hawk' 🤣🤣 that was one of the most ridiculous conversations I've ever witnessed! All that time I spent in that store telling my four-year-old grandson to behave while we were shopping so that he could be rewarded with the things he picked out! I mean really? I'll never go in that store again I'm sure y'all don't care but that was ridiculous because I certainly don't know anybody that store and I certainly wasn't trying to rip anybody off or pull some con game or whatever they think their employees are doing in there! If I could give zero Stars that's what I would give or below zero

I bought a chair for 9 dollars at the goodwill in Fort Walton Beach, about two months later, (a couple of days ago) I decided we weren’t going to use it and I donated it to Valparaiso Goodwill where they put a 49.99 price tag on it. Come on now I bought it for $10 at a different Goodwill. That is sad that y’all get these items for free. I will now donate at the bargain box

Went to this location and am still in awe. As I was checking out, I noticed a pair of very nice Nikes on the back wall behind the registers. As I was checking out, I asked the cashier if I could see the shoes. Thinking I was about to get them, I looked at the bottom of the shoes and saw the price tag…$199.99???? For a used, donated item?! These shoes probably retail for $200 brand new. Do they come with the box? No. Are they brand new? No. So why are they pricing it to that amount? I called and talked to the manager, and she even had no idea about the shoes on the back wall, but informed me that they sell them online for that amount. Wow…a nonprofit organization that is supposed to be using some of the funds that they receive for the items that they sell and using it for the “goodwill” of the community, is now seeming like a for profit business. I understand that Goodwill needs to make their money too, in order to keep the store open and pay their employees, but that pair of shoes has shown me that this is a greedy organization (or store, if the store chose that price). This is a place to help those who may not have as much get the “high priced brands” at a more affordable price, being used and donated. This is shameful. Never been to a goodwill that has asked that much for a pair of used sneakers. I’ll keep my $200.

Please don’t shop or donate to this greedy store. Prices are absolutely disgusting. If I wanted to pay eBay prices, (sometimes priced higher than eBay) I’d buy it on eBay with a warranty and get it delivered to my door. Go down the road and donate to Bargain Box, an actual thrift store. The managers should be truly ashamed.

Excellent items! You just have to allot time, and have patience. I am always complimented for the way I dress. Most would be shocked to know it came from here, including purses, wallets, suitcases, etc.

The store had a decent selection of clothing, but the employees seemed to have no concept of social distancing or personal space. There were several times where I was looking through the racks and an employee would walk up right beside me, sometimes literally touching shoulders with me, and sort through the rack, add clothes, etc. without so much as an 'excuse me.' They would also pass through the same aisles that customers were in when the other nearby aisles were clear, and they were ignoring the arrows showing which way to go through the aisles. Not to mention they were wearing their masks incorrectly. I understand that these things wouldn't bother some people, but this is just a heads up for those who are taking proper precautions while out in public.

I've been shopping this location for several years and it's lost alot of appeal for me lately. almost so that I'm not sure if I'll be back.. the new layout of the store is super confusing. separating the "designer" labels from the rest of the donated clothing items makes for a less efficient experience (for me) and a more cluttered look to the whole store. the prices, while not unreasonable, have gone way up on all items but especially on those "designer" labels. $13 for a shirt?! uh huh. from goodwill?! i know.. where all their supply is literally donated to them?! tell me your greedy without telling me you're greedy! like I said, I really doubt I'll be back to this location.

Prices have gotten pretty ridiculous. Even to the point of marking a donated, used item higher than the original price paid at Walmart. Seriously? I remember when Goodwill was an affordable place to find clothing and home furnishings. It seems they are trying to be more of a boutique or antique store these days. It's just weird and frustrating. I've been a Goodwill shopper for a while, spending lots of money there but I will no longer shop here.

I’ve donated here for years. Only recently have I become a regular shopper. I really love this place. I have a new hobby of buying thrift furniture, repainting it, and restoring it into an amazing piece. I’ll post some photos of the pieces I purchased here and refinished. Every piece was less than $30.Also, I’ve gotten smart about some over things. I realized not to long ago we had no coasters. Rather than spending $10-15 at the store, I bought some barely used coasters here for $3.99.

For one, the LOW PRICES, which is why people go to goodwill stores will NOT be found at THIS ONE! Discounts; i.e. student, military, or senior, will NOT be found AT THIS ONE!!! 👎👎👎I encountered one staff member and she was very nice! 🙌You want to pay more or equal to what you can find NEW at WALMART, BIG LOTS OR ROSS well for sure you will pay it here but for used items. I was in shock to find out that California's Goodwill was way less expensive and has multiple discounts for different groups as well and so are the ones in Nebraska, Colorado, Arizona and Texas. There are a lot of military people around here and I bet this store receives a lot of donations. I would advise against donating at this or any other location which sells their used/donated items at ridiculously HIGH PRICES!!!

This location used to be a fantastic place to find good bargains on really nice stuff. Within a matter of a few weeks since we had been, a big change was noticed today.Suddenly the prices are ridiculous for a Goodwill and I noticed initials on some of the more pricey items. It seems that someone may be doing consignment inside this location. I can’t see paying extreme prices in a Goodwill. Sorry, your marked off our list as of today.

Called goodwill in valp to see if they had crutches spoke with Torrey. Since I was unable to walk she brought crutches to my car took my money and brought me back the change. I tried to give her the 10$ change but she refused told me to have a blessed day and said she hopes I feel better. If u see this goodwill please give her a raise and employee of the month as it is employees such as this that make your business a success. Thank you torey for your kindness n well wishes :)

Goodwills have no consistency. Someone needs to remind goodwill that work on a donation process and there is no compensation or consignment to the donor. This particular goodwill has more “boutique” racks than they have normal clothes in the designated clothing sections. I would also like to note that this location was also very dusty; so dusty to the point 2 of the 3 people with me started sneezing. The brands on the “boutique” section are laughable at best. Tommy Hilfigure (we are taking mid 90s style) American Eagle, DKNY, Abercrombie(see Tommy Hilfigure comment) Eddie Bauer, Nautica and Marvel comic characters. Those are everyday brand at every other goodwill and just an example. A used plain white shirt by Eddie Bauer $10? Used Converse $30 used dirty Nike’s $70. $40 used Wilson Leather jacket. Used onesies for $5. I even found a pair of new no named brand shoes that had a store price tag of $19.99 yet goodwill had a price tag of $20. Then they run an PSA over the intercom talking about much cheaper goodwill prices are with prices at 90% off of retail and how they helped so and so get the clothes at the price to get him off his feet and look professional for his job interview. This is not a dig at goodwill in general but this goodwill is a slap in the face to people that use goodwill to get by and also the people that donated their goods to help fund goodwills mission. I would also like to note that I was at the goodwill of fort Walton Beach and it was packed and the prices and brands mentioned were consistent with most other goodwills. There was about 4 other shoppers in this goodwill. If they aligned their prices to the other goodwills and focused on moving quantity and inventory they would probably have a higher customer base. $1 dollar on a donated item is better than no one ever paying $10 for a used Eddie Bauer T-shirt.

Decided to go to goodwill today to drop off some old clothes and things that I didn't need anymore and was confronted with a issue when I 1st got there to drop everything off my boyfriend decided to throw away a candy bar wrapper off of the parking lot because he didn't want to step on it and he threw it in the dumpster and the man replied "that's not a public dumpster" but there was not another trash can to throw it in so that's all we knew what to do so he got very rude with us. His name was Lauren and he said he was gonna have a job regardless with or without our donation so I guess we're not gonna be donating to goodwill anymore after this experience today

One of the nicest, cleanest Goodwills I've been in. They have a drive thru drop off line and they have people to unload ur items. They no longer accept Armoires so don't take one there. Bargain Box does.

My biggest complaint is the manager of the Valparaiso, Fl store. Her name is Freedom and she was rude to the customers and terribly rude to her employee's. There is no reason for anyone to treat their employees the way she did. So nasty, she made one cry.

old vcrs available here cannot record off of cable TV because they have no RF connections. Also, they are deactivating the VCR in DVD/VCR combo players if the VCR section has auto tracking.I took the combo player to Jim McDowell's in Pensacola and now it works fine.
