It was nice to meet them it was pouring rain when I brought my great Pyrenees there to get groomed and she looked beautiful after groomed. We will be bringing my dogs there every month to get spoiled. I would highly recommend lake- land kennel and groom for anyone to bring their fur babies to get spoiled. Susan is great! My dog loves her and that makes me so happy knowing she's comfortable. Our pup is very energetic and LakeLand has space and time for her to run some of it out, and does grooming as well!

The only kennel I use! The owner here has always taken amazing care of my 60lb dog who is quirky. Very reasonable pricing, even grooming is fabulous! I love to sign up for the bath and nails for my dog after using the kennel.

Just found this place. We drove up, called the number and within 3 minutes the lady that owns the place came out, scooped Becca up and within just 5 minutes or so she brought her back out and her nails were done. Also very reasonable. I can bathe Becca at home but not the nails. Thx for doing such a good job on Becca's nails. 🐕‍ 🐾🐾♥️

I bring my dog Sparky there every time he needs grooming, they do a great job and I get a lot of compliments on how well taken care of he is. The place is not fancy or spotless but the owner does a great job and price is half of what my neighbors say they pay for their dogs

Our dogs had a great stay while we were out of town to see family. Kennels are clean and dogs come home bathed with a 7+ day stay. Definitely will use Lake land kennels again!

Suzie is great. She knows dogs (all breeds as far as I can tell), and Zeke always comes home looking like a million bucks (of course we only pay 0.0045% of that). We highly recommend!

We had to leave our 7yo boxer when we went out of town for a week. He usually has separation anxiety and won't eat for anyone when we're away. Susan and the wonderful staff at Lake-Land took such great care and showed such love to him, he had no anxiety and ate like normal! They gave him a bath before we picked him up, at our request. He was a happy puppy and LOVES Susan! The peace of mind when you have to leave your fur baby is priceless, but Lake-Land gives you that at such an affordable price. We love and appreciate you all, and Gunner will be happy when he gets to visit again! Thank you!!!!

Susan does a great job. We have taken our Shelby Dog there for years and she has always been well-treated and cared for. Even now as she ages and is mostly blind and deaf I'm certain she gets extra special attention. Always a bath if stay is a week or longer.

I take my two pets for boarding, usually they are sad when boarding in the past with a different boarding facility but they like going to Land-Lake and are very happy and healthy when they are picked up!! Very happy with them!!

They take good care of our dogs whenever we drop them off and they always come out clean. Our dogs tend to loose weight here if we leave them for longer than a week, but I'm not sure if that's anxiety or a diet they get put on.

Took my dog in to get groomed , two days later she had a enlarge red spot on the side of her neck. We then went to the vet to see what was going on and the doctor said she was nip by something sharp and began to scratch then they found Out the spot was infected and she had to have surgery and take medicine for almost 3 weeks when i called to inform the circumstances They did not acknowledge or try to accommodate to their clients needs they informed me they were not” aware “ I will not take my dog back!

People are very nice. The dogs like it there.I have never kenneled them there so I can not attest to that but the Grooming part is priced well and very accommodating.You should give them a try

I took both my dogs to susan for 6 days. I told her they needed to be separate as they don't do well together. On the second day i called the kennel, i just had a bad feeling about it. After some hesitation i was told that they were not eating well, but were going to the bathroom. She seemed very nervous and her voice was strange during our call. I chaulked it up to my nerves and figured they were not eating due to seperation anxiety. We were scheduled to be gone a full week, but decided to leave early due to my uneasy feeling. I called her a day before we were scheduled to return and told her we were on our way, her demeanor on the phone changed from gabby to silent. We arrived a few hours later to a sweaty, disscheveled looking women who was in a hurry to get us out. My husband asked if we could go back and surprise our babies and she looked worried/confused and simply answered "i guess".As we made our way to the disgusting smelling, torture chamber our babies were being held in, mind you, its about 4pm, all the kennel doors were closed, no ac on and mine didn't have any water!!!! At this point, i just wanted to get their things and get the hell out of there, she quickly made her way to the computer and printed out our invoice. I paid her and we left!!! We get to the car and i see my husband checking one of our dogs head, he says he thinks he's scratched himself somehow. I told him to just go home and we will check them over, upon getting to our home, i was horrified and infuriated at what i saw.Both animals were extremely lethargic and clumps of hair falling out, not only that but one of them had been attacked by something. He was holes in his neck and the top of his head. Dried blood and a foul odor coming from his wounds!!!! I called this women back and asked her what happened to my pet, to be told that my other dog attacked him the first night they were there, she called it a "scuffle " and said it "only happened once". (My animal was injured and left in that situation for almost a week with no vet care.) She informed me that she put them together as she "normally does" even after i specifically asked them to be separated.Im not even sure if that was the case? I called the second night, she didn't tell me anything? Why was i not informed? Why did she want us out so fast??Why were we not made aware when we picked them up? What really happened there?DO NOT LEAVE YOUR ANIMALS HERE!

Due to covid virus pandemic, pets are collected at car in parking lot, so no observation of shop condition. Groomer lacked good attitude, gruff and impatient, but actual grooming is fine, price is right and pet is not traumatized afterwards. Most convenient location also influenced my choice.

After being referred here from a friend, I left my dog for 4 nights in the care of the Susan, owner of the kennel. The second day I called to check on my precious baby and after some hesitation, I was told she was just fine. I questioned whether she was eating, playing with her new bone, etc. Oh sure, I was told. Upon picking up my furred baby, I was horrified !! She had a huge cut on the top of her head, was losing handfuls of hair (due to stress) and her butt and hind legs were covered in dried poop. This is something that I was concerned about in the beginning, which is why I took her own food. When I questioned Susan, she said yea, I noticed that. I asked what it could possibly be from, Susan threw her hands in the air and said sorry and walked inside. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF SUSAN'S GIFT OF GAB IN FEELING COMFORTABLE WITH THIS KENNEL !! Take your pet with you or find another place to leave it!!
