We left 2 small dogs at Critter Camp for 11 days. The staff is kind and caring and took really good care of our dogs. We provided their food and treats. Critter Camp will provide food at an extra cost. They are a bit pricey though. We have no other facility in our area to compare them to, so maybe high prices are the norm? We will use them again if needed.

We had our dog groomed there. He's a handful, so we weren't expecting much. But when he came out he looked fabulous. She did a wonderful job and has tremendous patience to deal with our dog.We will definitely be coming back.

So lucky to have this place! It is an incredible boarding facility & then some!... grooming, day care, actual play programs, any pet needs you may have, this is the place. They have lovingly built a facility, from the ground up, that is perfect for a wide range of pet boarding & services needs.My pet needs have indeed been varied & they have never failed me. A couple of examples... no one in the area could assist me with boarding my bird, they could, in a lovely setting perfect for him... An emergency family situation & I have a kitten who is mid way to being weaned. They took him & had completed weaning him by the time I was able to return home!I have a German Shepherd, an older Pug & a "social butterfly" of a sweet little Jack Russell to add to the bird & the weaned kitten & each one has always been cared for to perfection.

Regina and staff did a great job taking care of Mia! I spend 24/7 with my dog so was concerned she would have separation anxiety and be sad all weekend. To my surprise she had a good time. She got to play with some new doggie friends. She was playing outside when I arrived to pick her up. Also had her nails trimmed. Great to know that I have a place to care for her when needed.

Care of our animal seemed good. She seems happy. Big problem is billing. They charge $39 per night and $10 for a run. We dropped off at 4 on Tuesday and was there for pickup Thursday at 9 And the wanted to change us $160. Only the manager makes the bill who is not on site. Apparently the room is based on night and runs based on days How they got to this price I don’t know. Long story short after 30 minutes of discussion we finally paid $88. Which is less than we should owe but at this point we felt they were purposefully trying to squeeze us for extra cash. People have bad days and make mistakes that are honest that’s ok. Admit your mistakes we don’t need to hear how much your AC bill or about your family and how the employees told her wrong.Lost trust in this one maybe it’s was just a bad experience

I just moved up here and my dogs badly needed a nail trim! The staff here took them in on a Saturday and took such good care of them. Most importantly my dogs loved them! Thanks so much for the quality quick service I will be back!

The doggie daycare is pricey, by itself. But, you get a discount if you add "services" - such as grooming, which is reasonably priced - and that balances the overall cost. My Maximilian looked great following his grooming.

I use the groomer here and love how much she adores animals. I have never had to leave my dog overnight but I would if the need came up. I wish I knew her better because she's a person who I feel I could be friends with she's amazing.

Critter camp kept our pet rabbit Marshmallow for a week while we were out of town. They did a fantastic job of caring for our pet. I will continue to use them for pet lodging in the future! We really appreciate the job they did.

FROM A FORMER EMPLOYEE: The expectations of this position are a large contrast to the amount of appropriate training given. The expectations are to do the job of three people while the owner budgets your time minute by minute without allowing time for the additional things that pop up that she expects from you. Expect to be paid way too little, and to be paid late frequently. Prepare to undergo frequent Verbal assault. The Owner talks way too much for you to get a word in EVER. If you have a question of how to do something is pointless to ask because you will spend 20 minutes trying to get your question out while the owner word vomits about unrelated things. Overall the people, besides the owner, are relatively nice. However, the interaction from the owner is extremely unprofessional. You will get numerous texts and calls from both the owner and the manager on your days off and late at night when not on the clock. About things that could easily be figured out and are not pressing, or concerning animal safety.The only positive experience I had with this job was being able to bring my dog to work. You often will not get to take the breaks you are supposedly allotted and if you do the owner will still call you and take up the majority of your break talking on the phone or asking you to do things. The system is a paper-based system requiring you to write up physical bills because the business does not accept credit or debit cards.The owner will threaten to take money out of your paycheck if you make a mistake on one of these bills or if you check out a customer with out approval first , while she is unreachable Overall I do not recommend applying to work for this company. The job description says work in a hectic environment, but the reality is that the owner is just unwilling to staff an appropriate amount of people for the number of tasks that need to be done. After leaving this company I have heard terrible stories from others in the community who have previously work there or interacted with her. She also does not give the raises after training as advertised. I wouldn’t even leave my dog here. Letter of resignation attached.

Had to come back two days early do to TS Nicole. They charged me for those two nights for three dogs -180.00! Said it was the same as a hotel. Don’t know what hotels they stay in but I have never been charged for a service that I never received. I would have thought they would have made an exception for the TS. Will not be using them in the future and will tell all my friends to beware.

I have a medium size dog, a mini American Eskimo mixed with a long hair chihuahua, and her fur/hair is unbelievably thick and long. I have had her at critter camp for groom several times now and will take here mo where else. This is the first groomer who can cut her evenly without leaving odd thick patches all over. Not to mention my dog is so comfortable there that she does not fight to have the fur on her toes trimmed, which has always been an issue with other groomers (my dog has what we call 'Grinch' toes due to the thick fur and she eats at it when not trimmed properly, which has always been an issue with former groomers.)Polite, friendly staff and my fur friend is always happy to go. Truly recommended even for a nervous pup.

Everyone there was genuinely interested in how they would take care of our dog. Our dog is a rescue from a hoarder. He did not grow up with people, so he is afraid of anyone and shy. Critter Camp worked our dog Maggie in for a groom today and Melissa did a fantastic job on her Schnauser cut. Everyone was very nice and we will use Critter Camp for Maggie's grooming needs again.
