Our experience at this location was fabulous here is why...My son got his first pets about a week ago. He got hermit crabs. The place we got them at gave us care instructions and the dos and donts told us how to set their tank and what to use. We did what they said and we were having trouble with them immediately. For his first pet and being so young it was heart breaking to me when he looked in the cage and realized that two of them came out of their shells and didn't go into another one though we had them many sizes too. They didn't make it and he was so sad and disappointed. I googled and found information and all i was reading was not the same as what the shop we purchased them at they gave us wrong care instructions. So we decided to go to Petco in hopes of getting a few needed habitat items to ensure the remaining hermit crabs had what they needed to have a healthy habitat. Not really positive of what I was looking we wondered a moment when Caleb kindly asked if we needed help. We most definitely did. He directed us to their hermit crab enclosure and showed us their habitat and crabs. Explained in detail the best way to set up for a healthy happy hermit crab enclosure at home. He guided us to the products to eliminate some issues we have been having and the best product to use. He explained the molting process and made it simple for us to understand. Showed us the shells they offer for their new homes when they've outgrown their current ones. Showed us the best type of tank and best size for the amount of crabs we have and they even had them on sale. Caleb gets 10 ☆☆☆☆☆ from me and my son all day. He really went the extra mile to ensure we had a clear understanding of the best way to care for our new friends, Habitat needs, and the dos and don't. He took time with us he didn't make me feel rushed or dumb for having the wrong information about the pets we had gotten and made my son feel so much better about the poor crabs we lost. We're both confident now that our pets will be healthy and happy thanks to Caleb's information and suggested products from Petco. I came in 20 minutes before close to test my tank water and whoever was in aquatics was really professional and patient, I asked questions about different species of fish and the aquatic turtles, he was very knowledgeable and you can tell cared about the animals. I left knowing how much more fish I can get for the size tank I have, what species would work together. Cashier was really friendly and greeted you as you came in the door, she offered more information about the fish purchase during check out. Customer service goes a long way thank you! I was there on March 29,24 around 8:40pm I did not catch their names. Thanks you were awesome!

We came into Petco several times looking at and learning about the different birds available in the store. The employees were very nice and answered our questions to the best of their abilities. We ended up buying a green cheeked conure after careful consideration and research. We couldn’t be happier with him!

Our dog was definitely mistreated or sedated without our concern. It wasn't the first time, but this one was horrible. She's still recovering after 4 days of the service. That's why they asked you not to stay or wait inside of the store, and to come back in 3 hours. That was ridiculous and totally unnecessary.

Animals are being kept in unsanitary conditions. Aggressive animals are being kept with babies. The animals are not properly vetted. People are not being provided enough information about requirements for care. They are selling habitats and supplies with animals that are not appropriate for the animals. All of these things have been witnessed at this store.Make no mistake, this isn't just a local problem. Abuse is literally corporate policy at Petco. Just Google or search Reddit for Petco animal abuse.

I absolutely love this center so to give a lower score hurts my heart BUT Petco you guys MUST do better with your bearded dragons and it isn't just this location as I belong to BD groups and your company is the largest company with complaints due to miscare. This though has nothing to do with my review- I was in the Titusville location which I'm in at least dozen times a month. I have 2 bearded dragons and an uromastyx of my own so I understand the care but the way these animals are being kept is so beyond unacceptable. I purchased my 2nd dragon from your store because he looked 2 seconds from dying, 6 months later and he has finally recovered. Is this really the business you want to be linked to? They had 6 bearded dragon juveniles in one 20 gallon tank and normally that's okay but when you have 6 weeks olds with 4-5 month olds, there is going to be injuries and possibly deaths. Why even take the chance??? You are literally talking about putting bait lizards in are the older ones, when they go through a shed and resource guard, they can and will eat those 3 to 4 inch babies! All of the lizard enclosures were full (I mean FULL) of poop, one tank had 4 lizards and 17 piles of poop? Are you not worried about parasites? Apparently this isn't a worry because that's 1 of the biggest complaints and illnesses of your BDs. There were so do many issues that I could spend days typing this.. please fix this as these are living creatures for goodness sake, they don't deserve to just be thrown in a cage and left to their own and maybe get some mealworms and salad.. they need to be cleaned and have a varied list of foods. You have to do better as a company as this is disgusting

We went in the store to make grooming appointments for our 3 boxers. Robyn always takes care of us. She is very professional and awesome with the dogs. She cares for the dogs like they are her own. We also purchased some dog supplies which are always in stock.

Went to buy a carrier for my kitten, who is injured and has to have movement restriction for a few days. The carriers available in the store were unfortunately very expensive. They also weren't the size I needed for the moment. I went across the street to Wally World and bought the perfect carrier that we'll be able to use for several years for $54+tax. The ones at Petco were 2-3x that price and not what we needed. Hit or Miss, I guess. 🤷‍♀️

Doesn't always have items you need if you have freshwater or saltwater fish. Not very knowledgeable in the fish department. We dont have a fish store in tittusville so for this to be a major pet store i would expect more from them since they sell fish.

Why do they NEVER have enough staff? NO one asks if you need help? No one offers your dog a treat? It isn't what we wish it was. High prices like that you expect a "Publix" experience.At least its clean . I guess.

There is a ball python on sale that is super skinny and seems very sick. It tried to move around while I was watching but it could barely move. It's breathing was very shallow and it's shed looks like it has not come off completely since it's last. I understand how snakes can sometimes be hard to feed but if it is having issues hand it over to someone who can better care for it and take it to the vet. The workers seem very nice and seem to care for the animals but they just might not know how to care for a sick/dying animal. Petco is a very big brand and should not be having this issue. I don't want to see any animal this sick.

I love the groomers here. No matter which groomer we get they always do such a good job with our dog Sheamus. As you can see from our before and after pictures the haircut is great and we love the little extra touches like the bow tie they made him and the little bag of goodies he brought home. Would definitely recommend bringing your dog in for some pampering.

Titusville PetcoRachel is a wonderful and caring groomer.Unfortunately, it seems the primary criteria for Petco associates who work in management and at the cash register is a surly, "go away, you're bothering me", attitude. There is NO willingness on the part of the store management to make thing with the discount coupon I was given good.The response was "Well, that's the way we do it here". Customers in line behind me spoke up and agreed with my objections. The manager just walked away in a huff.I was given a card for a 50% discount on grooming because the salon had to reschedule the grooming appointment 3 times due to problems in the grooming salon with air conditioning. When I went pay my bill, I was told that the manager of the store (not the salon) would only allow 25% reduction from the $7.00 shaving fee and 25% discount on the $63.00 bathing fee. Once the items were totaled - the bill was $58. So according to the calculations by the store manager - a 50% discount on a $76 grooming bill is only $18 or a 23% discount on the services.I have reported this to the Better Business Bureau as a classic "bait and switch" scheme.

This is a great place animals look happy. And they have anything you need for your pet. And one of the groomers “Erika” she works on my dog and I would book Erika if it’s your first time there at there groomers because Erika is just great!!!!

I’m always skeptical of going to these chains for grooming but decided to give it another shot. Upon dropping my dog off she made a comment along the lines of “She’s my last appointment so I’ll do what I can” didn’t really think too much of it but that should’ve been my cue to leave. I pick her up and she said she was able to trim the back legs but couldn’t really do the front and she wasn’t able to trim the front nails either. The hair on my dogs head is all uneven and I was charged full price at $56. Definitely do not recommend taking your dogs here. My dog does squirm a bit which I why I take her to a “professional” to get trimmed bc I am unable to hold her by myself. Clearly these aren’t professionals at this location. I could’ve done just as good of job myself and saved myself the money. Lesson learned.

I would definitely recommend this place for grooming. Especially if you have a larger breed dog. I worked with Robin and she was so wonderful. I just had a bad experience at Swaggin Tails here in Rockledge Florida. So after making this appointment and taking my dog in, I honestly couldn’t of asked for a better groomer. She took the time to ask questions and figure out what it was I needed for my dog. She then did all of those things beyond even when I asked. I have a St. Bernard and he is very large And they were very accommodating and Robin took the time with him to groom him exactly the way that I wanted. Plus, the pricing was accurate. I was quoted something over the phone and that price was honored when I came. The extras that were done we’re just down at no charge because they really value their customers and their work. I can’t say enough how much I would recommend this Petco to have your dog groomed. She is now our new forever groomer!!

This is the worse pet grooming any where! My schnauzer has epilepsy and we were told they had to wait 6 months after a seizure before they could groom them. We waited patiently for the time they could be groomed. Again, after I made an appointment seven months after they had a seizure they refused to groom them. They are lying and the manger refused to take my call. They refuse to take pets with epilepsy. This is a discriminatory action. Our family vet has prescribed medication for seizures and they haven’t had one in 7 months. I don’t know how they can stay in business with poor communication, managers who refuse to take calls and discriminate against a two year old family pet. We think of our pets as children and we are greatly upset with the way they have treated our pets and ourselves.
