I highly recommend Claws and Paws! Karina did an amazing job grooming my Goldendoodle Murphy, and she takes the time to listen to what I want and then follows through. Karina and Casey are very friendly and make not only Murphy feel comfortable and welcomed, but they also make me feel the same way from the moment we walk in the door. First time taking my dog to another groomer besides his regular one we got to and they were just amazing. The atmosphere is just welcoming and full of friendly staff. My dog Tanuki usually is a little more barking when it comes to seeing people and other animals however they were so nice and friendly that he didn’t make one peep. He walked in and made so many friends and I’m very glad I got to see him comfortable when I had to leave him somewhere. I know that he will be happy and safe when I leave him and will be back for sure as well bringing my other dog to make this my go to groomer. 10/10 Thank you

Karina is undeniably fantastic. I have been taking my fur baby to her for years. I trust no one else with him. I always know that he will be safe and loved. You hear horror stories about how groomers can abuse dogs. Rest assured that if you take your fur baby to Claws And Paws he/she will be well cared for.

Came here for a nail trim for my cat. Wonderful and quick service, I was in and out in ten minutes. They treated my fur baby like one of their own and have kindness for all things furry! Don’t waste your time going to a corporate pet store where cats can only be groomed during certain times. Better service for about the same cost as a nail trim from Petco.

Took my pure bred English Bull dog there for grooming and came home to find my dog's claw was bleeding pretty bad. Called to let them know and was told to put some home made remedy to fix it. I stopped the bleeding myself but will not be going back. All breeds of dogs are different and Bulldogs use their claws quite a bit when they walk as they tend to pull so you have to be careful how they are clipped. Other than that, very friendly. I'm sure my dog didn't enjoy the trip.

Great service. Clean facility. Quick turnaround. I brought my 3 mth old puppy here for his 1st ever professional grooming and his hair cut came out better than I could have imagined. They treated him with so much care from the minute we walked into the door, and he did not seem frightened at all when I came to pick him up. As a first time pet owner, I would recommend this place to anyone. Definitely coming back!

I asked for a full grooming. They shaved our double coat dog. You aren't supposed to shave a double coat dog as their outer coat protects them from sun, heat, and cold. This is unacceptable and any groomer should know not to do that. I will not be taking my dog there ever again and I do not recommend anyone else take their dog there.

I am a Bi-Coastal from San Deigo and Tampa. I love this place and I recommend Karina to everyone I know for the special love she gives my children. I would never trust my pets with anyone else. My kids are retired show dogs and she makes them look like they are ready for Westminster dog show.

This was my third time taking my dogs to this groomer who I think do a very good job at grooming them.What I do not like is the additional charge they add to your bill if your dog or dogs happened to have an accident even after you have walked them. I was shocked to be told that it was an additional clean up fee because of that. When I said I didn’t agree with it and have never been charged that before anywhere else the response was oh well we run a clean grooming salon. I said I don’t agree and will certainly find another groomer going forward.I am in the waiting area putting their harnesses on and I hear them in the back talking about it. I could not believe that they would talk about a customer within ear shot because they don’t agree with you adding a fee that no other groomer I know does. I said to them on my way out the door that if you want to talk about customers maybe you should wait until they leave. The owner proceeded to scream at me saying I should take care of my dogs. Needless to say it is evident they have no customer or business skills and feel that because it is privately owned they can say whatever and however they choose to customers and do not believe in customer retention. I can assure you it cost a lot more money to get new customers than retaining the ones you have.

Was very happy with our experience! The owner was incredibly responsive to my last-minute request for a cat grooming, and her staff kept me up to speed with the delays they were experiencing for pickup. I found the shop quite clean for a pet salon, and it was clear that the animals were treated well.

We've been going to Karina for 4 years with our babies. She remembers them by name and they always look SPECTACULAR. We have tried other groomers on occasion just due to scheduling, but they are never as cared for as when they’re at Karina’s and on top of it, they come home happy. We have somewhat skittish Shiba Inus and other groomers would leave them anxious and afraid for the rest of the day. After hanging out at Karina’s, they’re happy and snoozing off a day of play. She’s the best and very reasonably priced. Also, great with cats!

First time we went to Karina, she was truly exceptional. She spent a long time discussing how I wanted my yorkies hair cut, and just loving on her. You could tell she loved what she did. Treated my baby like a princess. Prayers, answered. Well, it has gone downhill since then. Yesterday was my breaking point. Not only did she randomly charge me a "dematting" fee without my knowledge, but my 3 lb yorkie spent 4-5 hours there, supposedly because she peed on herself multiple times and had to be rebathed. No hair was cut or evened out under her chin. When I contacted Karina to inquire about her haircut, as well as the cost, she immediately defended herself and made it clear that she does not value my business, or satisfaction with her services:"Kristin we have discussed matting for the last five times that she’s been there and I’ve never charged you a penny to D Mac her until today if you feel you need to go somewhere else so be it enjoy your experience somewhere else."Absolutely blown away by the lack of professionalism from a business owner. The extra $7 clearly is not the real problem. Other than some matting, we've not been difficult clients. Unfortunately, she has become very rude and bitter, possibly due to her inability to keep staff. She doesn't require proof of vaccines, and she literally BIT my dog after she nipped at her while grinding her nails.Considering my pup now shakes uncontrollably when we visit, I should have stopped going here many times ago.

Overpriced and overrated. The first visit we asked not to make our labradoodle look like a poodle and not cut too short. It was uneven and he looked like a poodle. We chalked it up to being his first visit. The second visit we only wanted a bath & trim. They charged only $5 less. $55 for a bath, trim and rude customer service. No thanks! We will be going somewhere else. The groomer may love animals but she thinks she is far more skilled than she is.

We have in the past been satisfied but no longer. One of our dogs apparently angered her with his nervous peeing. My husband overheard her angry remarks when he went to pick up. The grooming on both dogs was sub par. I guess she was so angry that she couldn’t groom them properly. She well knows our nervous dog. She should have been forthright and not accepted him. Additionally, she kept them 6 hours even though they had appointments. That would make any dog pee.

Karina, the owner, is an absolutely wonderful person with a great love and respect for the animals that she grooms. I greatly appreciate the tenderness that she applies in grooming my 15-year-old Shih-Tzu who is blind and deaf. He always feels great when we leave her boutique!I would not pay much attention to negative reviews. I have known Karina and her professional work for a long time.

I cannot believe what happened to me at this store.I recently moved to Tampa from Orlando and this one is very close to my house so I figured I would try it.After picking up my 12 year old special needs Poodle Jack I noticed he had several burn marks and even what I believe to be a bite mark! My wife calmly and politely asked the owner Karina what had happened and she immediately started screaming and yelling that the dog came with those and how dare we accuse her of anything.I highly recommend that if you are an animal lover as we are you DO NOT take your pets here!

I was traveling in Florida when I needed to have my dog groomed. I was advised that Claws and Paws was the place to go. I was greeted and taken care of with the utmost professionalism. My dog Kallista was groomed to exact specifications per her breed of Havanese/Coton mix. I would advise anyone to take your dog to Claws and Paws.

I would report this business to the animal control and to the consumer violations dept. and to the BBB as well going to the all news outlets on the news like ABC CBS And NBC and launch a complete investigation against this business on how the customers and the resent customer DOG and CATS al animals are handled here a burn mark he’ll no! U would never ever treat my animal in that way and not be investigated with this issues remember what happed to pet smart groomers ??? Watch out! I would investigate this company and this person who does grooming and have done this dog for a burn marksFYI just saying
