The young gentleman(with glasses) who works in the meat section is one of the nicest guys in the world. I can’t remember his name but I asked him what fish would the healthiest for my baby and ever since that day for around 5 months now- he remembers me every time and asks how my daughter is.Always in a good mood and friendly to everyone. Guy needs a raise or promotion!

Nice store. Great variety. Cashiers were rude as hell. Was there on March 30th around 8:00 pm. Put my item up to be checked out and they were just showing each other their phones/messages or whatever while I was standing there waiting to be checked out. As if we weren't even there... After scanning all my items and I swipe my card the lady checking me out was showing the other cashier more stuff on her phone while I was just standing there waiting for her to complete my transaction... Terrible work ethic... I'll go elsewhere next time...

The reason I love shopping at Winn-Dixie in Tavernier is that I feel valued like a neighbor - not just a customer - when I shop there. The manager, Denise, and much of the staff, (whose faces I’ve come to know, if nottheir names) are always ready to lend a hand AND a smile. The only reason I don’t hate grocery shopping anymore is because of the way I’m treated when I go there. Denise, you and your staff are the best, thank you!

I am so tired of the rudeness across the store including the manager. The cashier that wears the face mask is the most un/friendly unhelpful person in the store beside that the store is messy the product is messy on shelves and not properly filled this is everyday all times of day. Today the masked cashier did not acknowledge me with simple greeting. When he realized I was not going to bag my own items which I typically do he threw into bag and treated the 2 flowers I purchased poorly by pushing them to me. Was not going to give me my receipt until I asked of course no thank you. Horrible I already called the manager nicely some time ago to no avail. . District manager and SM clearly do not encourage friendly because it would happen if they did. To be fair I am sure there are a few friendly associates I have not come across. On the sales floor when stocking product typically the associate is all over the aisle blocking and does not acknowledge customers or at least move the carts out of the way for the customer. Many items are not priced so leads me to believe this is a poorly operated store overall. I try really hard to stay away from this store. I just went in for eggplant milk which I need today all other items can wait till Publix trip

The woman assisting self checkout today was talking about us and would not come help us after our tomatos rang up wrong and we asked her to void to ring again. She was extremely condescending and rude for someone talking about us in a language other than English. She ordered the guy, who was very nice to come over. Then she hid her name tag and when I called to talk to a manager she put me on hold and didn't return. She was about the least suited for customer service person in the store. We think her name was Gemia as I said she was covering name tag purposely. Update...I called again for manager, they don't come to the phone so I felt no other choice to get my message through. I gladly would have preferred talking to a manager to share my experience.

Denise manager was amazing today, she helped me with a recall on Sargent cheese and helps me even find a couple items my wife requested ( that I didn’t know where they were). Solid service above and beyond!

Surprisingly good beer selection. As others have noted, one of the best meat selections in the Keys. I’m more of a Publix guy, but definitely enjoy shopping here.

Great salad bar here - the twisty pasta noodle thingies in white sauce and the quinoa salads were delicious.Thirsty? Plenty to drink here, there's beer - lots of beer. There's wine - lots of wine. But there's no whining, duh.

My favorite supermarket. They have fresh produce, meat, seafood, bread, and anything you can need from a supermarket. And the people are very nice, I recommend it.

if you are in the tavernier area well this is the place to be and be seen ~ kinda the total social scene in the area! i popped in the other day and spotted thoroughly modern millie and a former friend of olden days ~ you never know who you may run into at this lovely grocery store :)

Clean and well managed. Great selection of goods. My wife and I bought the wrong item and not realizing opened it. They not only let us replace it with the correct item but did so with a smile and told us to enjoy our weekend. Great customer service! When in the Keys shop at Winn-Dixies!

Store is CLEAN…STAFF IS SUPER FRIENDLY AND THEY GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO HELP YOU FIND ITEMS!!!.Honestly the prices can’t be beat!!!!!! I love this store and enjoy shopping here…Never have any issues with personnel other than they really go all out…Denise in the front always goes out of her way to make sure we leave happy…Great store Great staff

What can I say we stopped due to a convenient location to where we were staying as well as the location of a couple of other places we need to stop at, but there's also a bit of nostalgia to be had seeing as how all the Winn-Dixies in our home area have long since closed. The interior of the store can be a little confusing finding what's where but that can be said for just about any grocery store you've never been to before. This one for the most part had everything we needed and we were able to get it in and out fairly quickly.

This Winn-Dixie is really bad the deli their meats don't last but a day until they're spoiled. We bought over $100 worth of crab from the store to to have a big dinner, when we got it cooked and tasted it you can taste that it was spoiled and you can smell the stink. Tried to talk to the manager they don't want anything to do with you. I even tried to send Winn-Dixie's home office a text brought home the receipt still haven't found that information.

Pretty nice grocery store in the upper keys. The meat selection was not bad. And the beer selection was better than average - though it is split up into 2 aisles, so if u don't see what u want just make 2 lefts. Or 2 rights. Nobody will notice. I promise.And ask for a rewards card at the register. That will get you the discounts.

We live in the Tavernier a mile from Winn Dixie.We drive south to Publix to shop.The Winn Diwie in Tavernier is a dump.Nobody speaks english and the cashiers don't say anything.We are all hoping that Publix's take it over.

Clean and organized. Layout and customer flow seemed well planned and efficient. The produce section especially was stocked full and I tried to find a bad apple but just couldn't. Best grocery experience I've had in a long time.
