A great place to stop in and visit. They help injured wildlife so they need all the help they can get. They have an informative visitor center and gifts you can buy to help support their rehabilitation work. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend going to visit this site and their sanctuary site where you can see the birds they've helped.

Love this place! Really wonderful to see the rescued birds, you can also walk down to a beautiful little beach. It's free to enter, but you can donate via a touch screen and card reader at the end. The staff was very nice and very knowledgeable. The parking gets a little tight, especially during busy times.

This place is absolutely gorgeous and the animals are taken care of very well. Most of the birds have their own plaques that contain facts on the species of bird it’s correlated to. Most of them also include the animals’ names and their stories. It also runs off of donations.

One of my favorite places to visit in the keys. I have been taking photo here since the early 1980's Sadly, the hurricanes have been very unkind to the areas near the salt marsh. Still I highly recommend a visit.

It is amazing the work they are doing to save birds and the habitat. We went to the visitor center and gift shop plus the actual bird sanctuary. It was heartbreaking reading what happened to some of the birds, but cool that they still get a high quality of life. I loved the owls the best, I had never seen so many and so up close.

The sanctuary was wonderful. Very clean and had facts on the type of bird as well as the bird's personal story; whoever did the naming was very creative. We left there feeling like bird experts. The beach at the end of the walk was a wonderful place to watch the sunset as well.

Beautiful little sanctuary. You can get pretty close to these birds. I stopped by early morning when the staff was feeding the birds, all were very friendly and welcoming. They survive on donations so PLEASE leave what u can for the birds and the wonderful staff who care for them.

This place was on my list and I’m glad we went.It was on our way to Key West so it was great.Entrance is free also parking. We got to walk around this place that looks small but it’s not. Filled with so many birds with information and a nice pathway to walk through and connect with the birds. The best part was at the end when we reached to the beach and we were able to enjoy that amazing view.

This is a bird sanctuary for the birds who need rehabilitation. I really appreciated the people who have got this place get going to help these birds. Entry is free however they appreciate a donation for this fantastic work did keep doing. There is also a picturesque beach at the back of this place to take some insta pics. We enjoyed looking at parrots, owls , hawks and other various birds. If you do have some time, visit this place and enjoy the downtime

What a wonderful place and what a responsibility they are filling, taking care of injured birds and returning as many as possible to the wild. Don't forget to go down the street to the gift shop/info center. I picked a nice t-dhirt for under $25.

The Laura Quinn Wild Bird Sanctuary is a peacful stop when driving in the Keys. The sanctuary has over 100 birds that can no longer be released into the wild. Admission is free, but they accept donations which help them take care of the birds. Expect to spend 30 minutes here.

Great stop! Admission is free but they ask for donations. You can leave cash in a bin, or they have an iPad setup at a kiosk so you can do so with a credit card!

So worth the stop! Free, and no staff to check in with but you will want to donate a couple dollars at least after you see the work they do for these birds. Bring cash or they have a card reader setuo for donation. Short easy walk to see all the birds. Free parking area.

The trail along the water through the mangroves is very nice. The birds they have are well cared for, a wide variety, some were injured in the hurricanes and others hit by cars and many other types of injuries. The ones that cannot go back into the wild are being well taken care of.

You get to see several owls, a bunch of other birds. It's not big, but it's good. They don't charge admission, just donations.

A place for birds with a problem. There they can get better to go back to nature again or they can stay to still have a good live with there health problem. Please visit and make a donation, really worth it!

We usually stop to see the birds, some of whom have been friends of ours for years. We always leave a modest donation and talk to the parrots. There's also a cool little trail out the back that leads to one of the most "natural" views of the gulf Waters you can find.

Beautiful little place to visit and see lovely birds being kindly looked after following injury. My two little kids loved it. Donation optional but you should donate to help them with their kind and dedicated work.

Very low key place, which was nice. The birds had the space they needed and the ones caged there are birds that cannot be released due to injury, so it seems they do really good work.

I called a few days ago with a very unique and specific question about how to clean snake saliva off of a chick and the woman on the phone was the absolute friendliest! She told me how to properly give a baby bird a Dawn soap bath (I didn’t even know there was a specific way to do it! Dawn customer line recommended I call a bird sanctuary bc of it) told me how to tell if she’s badly hurt or just sore and even taught me a bit about snakes! She was so helpful and it was so sweet that she thanked me for caring so much :’) Thanks a ton FL Keys Wild Bird Rehab center!(My chick is fine btw! Bump on her foot went down and she’s playing around with the other chicks again. Just a bald spot on her wing. You would have never guessed she was pulled out of a snake’s mouth two days ago lol)
