Awesome experience! Have been on snorkeling trips and loved them. Hookah diving here put them to shame. The snorkeling in the Keys in the past were larger boats with a lot of people, that took you to a destination with a lot of boats that also contained a lot of people. Pretty crowded but still fun. Rush in, fun, times up, rush out. We went out with Captain Tom and had the boat to ourselves. He took us to areas that nobody else was at. It was so much nicer being out with just my daughter and friend, and Captain Tom who's a pretty chill laid back guy in no hurry. Let us do our thing until we decided we were done. Kids rode upper deck as suggested to see turtles on our trip out (and they did). Gave us a walk through on how to use equipment, and it was very easy (both 14 and had no probs at all immediately using and diving in). First stop was a ship wreck in shallower waters to get used to things. That was pretty cool. Then went out to a deeper spot that was just fun as can be. Saw everything from turtles, tons of different fish, a small shark, stingray, school of spotted rays, and tons more. I swear I could've stayed down there forever. I took about 500 photos and only captured probably 30% of what I saw. Definitely recommend an underwater camera for this one & can't wait to go back again.

Really good Hookah diving experience with a captain who really knows his stuff. He gave us great preparatory advice and was very flexible and communicative in shuffling plans around to make sure we got out on the water in good weather. Very helpful in his approach to supporting less confident participants to build their skills and enjoy their time.

Capt Tom and Carol were phenomenal hosts! My husband and I went hookah diving and was extremely nervous at first. After the first few minutes and them coaching us at our own pace we had the weights one and down and exploring we went! I cannot say enough how awesome they were. They not only took us to some amazing spots but they truly made it feel like a personal family experience. Their outgoing personalities and love/experience in that atmosphere makes you feel like you’ve done it many times before. If you don’t do anything else in Key Largo, do this!!! Go diving or snorkeling with them!

Had the absolute best time! Would come back in a heartbeat. You did not have to be scuba certified but it felt as if you were scuba diving with tanks. We went to 4 amazing spots and saw nurse sharks, turtles, eels, and a plethora of fish. My boyfriend was nervous but Tom made him feel at ease as he took us to a shallow area first to get used to breathing with the line. I was able to catch a couple lobsters and attempted to spear fish.This experience was so much more than I could have expected and recommend any kind of swimmer who likes snorkelling to give this a go.

We booked this tankless scuba diving tour last minute but Captain Tom came through! He was knowledgeable and there for all three of us as we were trying to get acclimated to the water and used to breathing underwater!First, he let us explore a sunken ship that was maybe 5-6 feet of water just so we can practice.My brother dropped his glasses down into the ocean as well and Captain Tom just right in and SOMEHOW found them!! So thank you for that church save!Finally once we got the hang of it, we went to a deeper portion teeming with wild life under a shelf.Thank you for such an awesome time. We will definitely be back for more of your awesome stories too!

Capt Tom was awesome! Took us out snorkeling and when we had enough of that he broke out the fishing 🎣 poles. We caught a 5 foot nerf shark and Capt Tom pulled it right into the boat and we all took pictures. Great times and good company. Capt was very informative on the area. Highly recommended!

We couldn't go out diving due to bad weather but Captain Tom took us on a little boat ride. He seems like a very genuine person, would definitely go out again if I have a chance.

If you're thinking about it DO IT! We did the tankless scuba diving and it was the most magical experience of my whole life. Saw so many beautiful fish and swam with a SEA TURTLE!!! I was a little nervous about the breathing apparatus but Tom was so nice and helpful! He made me feel really comfortable with the gear and gives you plenty of time to learn. So worth the price & I will definitely be going again next time I come to the Keys! 🙌🏻

We just did the tankless scuba diving and it was amazing! We had so much fun and saw so many cool fish and even a nurse shark!! The clarity of the water was incredible! Tom was very helpful and patient with us, as it was our first time. We were both nervous, but he got us acclimated and feeling more comfortable quickly! I highly recommend others to try it out! We plan to come back next time we visit Florida!!

This was an awesome experience I already scuba dive but this tankless diving took it to a different level that was much enjoyable, additionally Capt. Tom and his wife Carol are such fantastic hosts from the time of arrival to relaxation at their Tiki hut location. They're just phenomenal hosts. The dive location is perfect for diving and snorkeling. I recommend their business, and I look forward to scheduling to go again in the early part of next year.

We literally JUST got off the boat with Captain Tom and I had to run back to write this review. If you've never gone diving before and aren't certified, or even if you are, this is a MUST DO while visiting the keys. Captain Tom made the first dive quick and easy in shallow water so we could learn, but there were still beautiful fish everywhere. Other spots had amazing reefs, beautiful fish, and colorful coral. We have snorkeled dozens of times, all over Florida and the Caribbean, but you simply can't see the amazing things you see with Fl. Keys Unique Diving with just a snorkel.I've always been on the fence about whether learning to dive would be worth the expense. One trip with Captain Tom and I know that I've got to get certified, because I can't go too long without doing this again. And the next time we're back in the keys, we're going out with Captain Tom again. Great Service, Great Stories, Super Patient. It's absolutely worth the money, and so much more. Memories for a lifetime.

Captain Tom was amazing! We loved being able to snorkel and dive (snuba) at several stops. He answered all of our questions and made sure we were comfortable. He was also very flexible and tailored the trip just to us. We highly recommend this as part of your Keys trip!

A great experience. Tom and Carol took good care of our group, and adjusted the experience for our group on the fly. I had some scuba experience 15-years a ago. I didn't think I would be nervous but using weights without a BC was different. The water was turbulent, and because of that, visibility was fair. The turbulence presented a challenge for an older novice such as myself getting back on the boat. No worries, Carol jumped in the water and Tom was on deck to help. They kept close watch on all of us during the dive. They focused on providing us with a memorable experience, but number one priority was our safety. Listen to Tom and Carol's directions and you will be fine. I have no doubts, I would like to do it again in a second. Thanks Tom and Carol

Tom was great from start to finish. We had a nice ride and he showed us the ropes for snorkeling in shallow water. Then brought us to a deeper site to see more. The whole experice was great and we will be coming back to Tom for our snorkeling needs.

What an amazing time! I have never went scuba diving or really been out in the open water. But Captain Tom had great advice and made sure everyone knew what to do and how to start. He took us to some amazing spots in the keys, and we got to see all kinds of exotic fish! And to top it all off, we had our 18 month old son, since we were on vacation. And Captain Tom even pulled out a bean bag, to help us with his nap time. All around great guy and a great time we won’t forget! I’ll definitely be planning another trip down and calling Captain Tom!

Perfect personalized experience! This was exactly the experience our family was looking for! All the freedom of scuba diving without the time and expense of classes. Our daughters aged 9 and 12 took to breathing through the respirator right away and had a great time. It took my husband and I little longer but captain Tom gave us all the time we needed to get adjusted and soon we were swimming and diving as well.The water was perfectly clear and we saw tons of brightly colored fish! The weather was perfect. Give Tom a window of a couple possible days and he will check the weather a few days out and help you pick the perfect day. Personally, my favorite part was that Captain Tom runs a very small boat and we were the only people on the trip. It was so much easier to relax and enjoy yourself when you aren’t worried about all the other people!Unique diving is a must do on your trip to the Florida Keys!

Amazing! Captain Tom and his wife Carol took the 4 of us plus a baby out today. They were terrific hosts. Actually the baby with us got seasick and cried like crazy and Carol rolled up her sleeves with a smile and took care of him for a bit so we could dice with his parents.The water was incredibly blue and clear. There was at least 30 ft of visibility underwater. We saw a sea turtle and many brightly colored fish. We had scheduled an earlier day, but it was windy and Captain Tom called to reschedule to make sure we’d get the best possible experience.Two in our group got seasick so Carol took them back her own house to sit in the AC so that my wife and could finish the day. These are great people with a fantastic experience. If we ever vacation in Florida again, we’re coming back to Cap’m Tom and Carol the Great.

I've gone out with Captain Tom twice now, and both times have been excellent. If you like snorkeling, then you will love Hookah diving. I plan on going again the next time we visit the keys.

We were a group of 6 Europeans and we went on a snorkeling tour with Captain Tom in November 2020. It lasted around 4 hours and cost 50$ per person. It was an amazing experience, the water is crystal clear and blue, we saw dolphins and swam with a shark!Captain Tom has been diving professionally for 40 years and knows perfectly all the good spots. I recommend it 100%!

Incredible. This is an experience that made our Florida keys trip worth while. You really get to see the beauty of the keys and it’s brilliant clear and blue waters. Very reasonably priced for a wonderful experience. Our guide and owner Tom was very helpful, if you have never been snorkeling or scuba diving it can be nerve racking but Tom was there to walk us through every step of the way. He also has some very interesting stories. We got up close to an old ship wreck and saw hundreds of multicolored fish and even some turtles! Swimming along the reefs was awesome. We will be coming back again!

I can't recommend Captain Tom enough. If you want to avoid the big boats with 30+ people, this is the place. He takes the time to teach you individually at a shallow reef before moving out to some great locations. We got to see some beautiful reefs, tons of fish and a shipwreck. He also isn't going to push to go out if the weather isn't right, he really does want everyone to have a great time.

Very unique experience being able to free dive while you're snorkeling with a regulator and not having to carry tanks. Regulators attached to a 300 ft long tube so you're able to swim around freely without carrying tanks. Enables you to take your time and enjoy everything and just relax and take the most beautiful pictures you'll ever have. Captain Tom was very attentive to make sure you are safe and comfortable.My wife didn't like the regulator so she just snorkeled above us and had a amazing time.

We had an awesome time! Captain Tom and his first mate Carol are the best!They are both more than accommodating, showing and teaching all of us what to do and what to see. I would NOT hesitate to book this wonderful team for future dives in Key Largo! Both of their experience shows in how they teach you how and what to do while snorkeling and diving. They both went out of their way to make sure we all enjoyed ourselves. It's an amazing experience. Tom and Carol are very patient and knowledgeable on teaching us how to dive using hoses instead of tans and all about the beautiful ocean life.. I love how they're very safety conscious and easy to talk to. They make you feel like any question you may have... is not a dumb one. I keep going back to them eveytime I'm in the keys and always learn a little more. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!

I wish I had images but the experience was incredible. I went with my boyfriend and family and it was great having the boat to ourselves and having such a personalized experience. Both the captain and his wife are great people, and my family could not stop raving about how much fun they had and how unique the experience was. I would love to do it again and would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area.

Tom and Carol were the best hosts! Their thoughtful guidance and assurance helped me overcome a huge fear of water and predatory fish. The day started out overcast but that ended up in our favor so we didn’t fry up in the Florida summer sun. Tom and Carol chose 4 different reefs (and one with a shipwreck!) for us to explore. We saw 1 nurse shark, a couple of sea turtles, and plenty of fish 🐠 so beautiful! The sun fully came out by mid day, and we were in invited to climb on the top of the canopy for a full view of our surroundings. Perfect day!!
