I must say , This here is my first time at an ace hardware. I did not want to go to big store. Desiray was very helpful and she got me everything I needed on my list. She mixed my paint and color matched it perfeckt along with getting me some plants to put together a project for my wife. Ace is the place and I will be back thanks to her awesome customer service. Oh don’t let me forget the cashiers was very nice and full of sunshine. Thank you Ace Carters

Was looking for hanging wire for a picture. This store has been rearranged in the last year and things are much harder to locate than before. The first associate must have been new because they didn’t know where picture wire was and proceeded to ask other associates on her headset for help. She couldn’t understand because she said everyone was talking over each other. After being directed to the main isle with her to find someone else another man from the back approached and said very aggressively we’re picture items were located. This is where the interaction went south quick. I came into this ACE HARDWARE with a very specific item I was looking for. These associates need to listen to what is being asked. I never asked where the picture framing items were I specifically asked where the wire was. Instead of walking me to the wire the male associate flared their arms in the way of the items refusing to help me locate it. When I asked him what his problem was he just walked away. That led to about a 5 minute’s conversation with the manager who has personally helped me locate items before. He agreed that the integration shouldn’t have happened and apologized. I informed him I would be leaving a review. Most of the associates of this store have great customer service skills but good luck if you get a bad one. I do my best to support local but from now on I’ll just buy anything I would buy from ACE from AMAZON instead. Cheaper than ACE and NO PROBLEMS.

Called earlier to ask if they had a bait. Female employee said she does have it in stock. I told her I’ll see her tomorrow morning. She said ok. Tomorrow is Sunday and they are closed on Sundays. She didn’t even tell me they were closed. By the time I checked their hours they were closed. Now I can’t go fishing tomorrow.

Went to get supplies to replace a stove vent that broke at my Dads house. Had everything I needed and were very nice folks. Would highly recommend for a quick visit for your project needs.

You just gotta love Ace! The go to got everything store! I prefer the size of the store over the big stores. Whenever possible if I can get what I need at Ace then that's where I go! All the Ace stores are great as far as the atmosphere, the smiles you get when you enter, the stores are always clean, easy to get around in and they are always willing to help you find what you're looking for. I think they have just about anything you might want for so many things that come up in life..........have a Great One!!

Good products, great people. I work closer to the Mt Dora Ace Hardware, but I'll drive out of my way to go to the Tavares store as I prefer the people there, always helpful, always professional, and truly an asset to the store and the brand. Plus, I like to shop there knowing I'm supporting a local business, instead of some billion dollar box store. Small details like local honey really do make a difference. Keep up the good work !!

Placed an online order. Get email saying order is ready for.pick up. Drive an hour to store and while I am waiting for them to find my item(which they can't) I get an email saying my order was canceled!!! Because their employees could not do their job right, I was out gas and my time!!! If I could give negative stars I would. This store does not deserve the one star!!

The outside sales lady Amanda is fantastic! I have ordered several large loads of supplies from her and she has been excellent every step of the way. Where she really shines is her willingness to help unload the product. Unloading 120 bags of rock is not fun but she didn’t didn’t complain once.Thanks Amanda you rock!

The staff here are always helpful and nice. The store is a little tight and narrow. Today when we were in the electrical area there were a lot of items that weren't in the correct bins that was a little hard to find the electrical box piece that we wanted. We found at least seven or eight items that were all mixed up and sometimes in completely different rows.Update 11.16.22 once again we got wonderful service. Someone was able to help. My husband pick out the exact right type and size of concrete bolt that he would need and our cashier was wonderful. Also helping us with coupon discounts and giving us information on sales and such. We are always happy to go to our local Ace store for more personalized service.

Hello, If you live closer to Home Depot or Lowes you may just as well go there. Plumbing parts like fittings ittings steel or brass forget it. If they do have it, just a few peices you may as well go else where. Way to spendy.. Save the fuel and the $$$$$ !

Friendly staff, clean, organized. Variety of products. Easier than Home Depot and Lowe's although their selection is not as vast as the bigger stuff. However, there is a great personal help that does not compare. I will be back. Plus, we can buy a lot on their website and have it deliver to the store for free. Highly recommended.

I went this morning for tools for my daughters bike. I had No idea what I was getting. & mark helped me so much. He even discounted the tools for me. I’m just speechless because no one ever does anything nice anymore. & this just made my day! Thank you! I’m on my way home to put my 3 year olds bike together! I’m so happy!
