Amazing. When I was younger my dads office was close yet a little far and had to walk here sometimes just for the fun of it cause what else dose a 8 year old do at an office and so I went almost everytime I was with my dad at work or we drove past to go the dent and the people who work here never EVER said anything rude (I buy here almost every couple of months) I have gotten snails fish spiders crawfish EVERYTHING from them also it is a little dirty on the ground but who. Can. Blame. Them! They work all day to keep things clean! Imagine for a couple of hours having to clean this amazing store over and over cause some tank spills a little! Thank you to the owner of the store and workers

I bought 6 fish on Saturday 04/27/2024 spent 54.00 with tax and was told by the owners son who helped us, that if any of those fish die with a few days bring the corpse back with a sample of water and he would replace the fish. Also, test to see if my water was the cause.The owner was also there speaking with his son while he was helping us. I go back in today 4/29/2024 because one of the fish died within 24 hours of purchase. The son was not there however, the father was. Not only did the old cranky man “ owner” insult my intelligence but he had the nerve to say, you can pay half for a replacement of the same fish species. Needless to say I will no longer be purchasing anything from this business.

There was a wide variety of pets available here. Many different types of bird, reptiles, small mammals, spiders and a huge selection of fish. Everyone working here was helpful and I found just the right piece of driftwood for my aquarium.

So, after many years of just driving by, I finally decided to pop in to this pet store. I am so annoyed at myself for not stopping in sooner. If you are an aquarist, this store this store is what you've been looking for! I am always so utterly disappointed with the chain stores and their abysmal lack of fish variety, not to mention poor health. On the other hand, Foster's Exotic Pets had fish I have never even seen before, both freshwater and saltwater. If you are looking for something other than the same old guppies and mollies and platys and such, this place will blow your mind. I got lost for a while in their fish section just checking it all out. They've got it all... every fish food you could ever want including the better brands, and live food too (and at a great price). I could go on and on, but then I wouldn't have time to tell you all about the amazing aviary. They have all kinds of birds including babies and all of the accoutrements. I am not a bird person but man each was more beautiful than the last! It was so cool, it made me start to think about getting into it. They also have a robust reptile section with some unusual entries. I especially liked the baby tortoises. I haven't even mentioned the bunnies, ferrets, hamster, and basically anything else you could want. Each animal was obviously well kept and healthy. Best of all, the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. While chatting in store, my wife and I came to learn that it is a family owned business, and the care and knowledge displayed by the staff was so much more that what I have experienced in the chain pet stores.So, seriously... check this place out. You'll love it as much as we did.

The staff is nice and has lots of info on the fish whatever questions u have they can usually answer. also every time I go they have something different and so many selections. I've gotten most of my fish from here my most recent is my elephant nose fish and I love it!

THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN! I have ALWAYS had issues with anything from this place and I have gotten a handful of animals from them over a long period of time. Everything died within days. I decided I was going to give them ANOTHER chance and I bought a jumping spider from them 2 days ago. JUST A SPIDER! And it died within TWO DAYS!!!! The last time I got any animals from here was a couple guppy fish for my niece and they were sick and killed all my other fish as well!!DONT GO HERE!!!!!

The staff is super nice! My grandson was so excited to see all the different reptiles, and the staff actually allowed him to hold a few, which made his day. He will be purchasing a 🦎 for his birthday.

BUYERS BEWARE!!! Bought new fish from this store on a Saturday. Monday night the entire tank is infested with ich!! Our 8 year old parrot fish is now dying due to being infested with ich from the infected fish sold from this store. I heard horror stories from old employees and should have listened. Buy elsewhere!!!!!! You will regret it

This place is terrible. Disgusting. Dirty. Animals in terrible conditions, they were in disgustingly small and dirty enclosures. Had animals mixed that should not be kept together (different species of turtles housed together, a guinea pig with the rabbits, different aged birds) One of the employees was hitting her dab pen on the clock. Fish tanks were small and filthy. Dead fish in the tanks. Their reptiles were crammed in tiny enclosures and most all looked sickly or on the verge of death. I witnessed them sell sliders that were too small to legally sell to a family. Avoid this place like the plague.

Fantastic 'true' pet store. Owner has been in the business for 40+ years. Knowledgeable staff. This pet-store has it all, wide selection of reptiles, birds (from macaws to finches), small animals (from hedgehogs to hamsters), and marine life (from angel fish to moray eels and sharks!). Prices are unbeatable, too! If you're looking for a new family friend, this is definitely the place to go.

This place is great for fresh and saltwater aquarium fish fresh. Prices are fair for most fish. Has very helpful employees. This place offers lots of cool pets for sale.

Pet center had a larger variety of animals. There were fish, birds, and small rodents, including hedgehogs, chinchillas, Guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, and rats. Rodent enclosures seemed clean; a mother hamster with babies was properly separated. I do not know fish as well, but things seemed generally clean. I did not see any obvious signs of disease-- spots, discolored eyes, etc. Staff greeted us when we came in and worked quietly checking on fish nearby us in case we needed her, which is a good way to be-- available to us but not pushy.

They have fish and other animals, which is... Interesting... I can't confirm whether or not they're taken care of, there are always dead fish in the tanks. Check out their prices of regular things, like fish food, are 3x the cost on Amazon.

Exotic?!!! I feel sorry for all the animals in that "store". Everything was dirty, disorganized, and smelling like it was never properly cleaned! And the prices were ridiculously high.

Staff was friendly and available for help even while cleaning down and getting ready ready for storm Idalia. We left with a sweet little mouse and starter cage with food. Very pleased with cleanliness and help.

Wish I could rate 0 stars. The fish are aggressive, and we got two pet rats from there, one of which died within a week. The other was really sweet and lived for two years, because she was on medication for her entire life. We were told we were getting two boys, but we got a boy and a girl --- luckily, we had no baby rats on our hands. They were 3 or 4 weeks old and shouldn't've been away from their mother.We recently got another rat (from a rescue) and she came from Exotic Pets. She has had five litters and looks about a year old, and isn't trusting because humans have taken away all but one of her litters. She is probably related to our loving rat, and they look exactly the same.The "rat food" they sell is birdseed. It has dried corn in it, which can be deadly to rats. They have the rats in aquariums with pine bedding --- the aquariums don't allow the air to ventilate, which causes lung problems and pneumonia and pine is toxic to them.When we told the owner about how the sick rat died in a week, he simply said, with its 12-year-old owner right there, "What did you expect, getting feeder rats?"That haunts me to this day.This was less than 2 years ago.I would never go there again.If you say, "Rats are horrible creatures," you're wrong. I've never been bitten by a rat, and they're like small dogs. They make amazing pets and don't deserve to be live-fed to snakes. Please don't go here. They don't deserve your time or money.

Love all the critters , daughter bought a leopard gecko really cool. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff always willing to help and give advice. You won't be disappointed.They are healthy and well taken care of!. Highly recommend.!

Edit- so would like to add i bought a reptile on July16th. July 22 he refused food. July 24 he had diarrhea, so i reached out to the management and was hung up on. July 25 he passed, i again reached out to store management and was hung up on. I have an active BBB claim and an active dispute. The business has not replied to either claim.if you want an animal that’s going to die within a week or two of you owning it this is the place for you!! if you like seeing animals neglected, in cages covered in filth and jammed packed full of sickly animals, again this is the place for you!! this is probably the nastiest pet store i’ve ever been to, from care of animals to Gary the guys “managing” it. Tyson was amazing and very very knowledgeable, it’s a shame he left. Other than him, there’s literally nothing good about this place.

Very knowledgeable, especially in the fish department. Stop in just to see the fish set up they have. They have lots of birds and other kinds of little critters. It's nice to go there when you need more help than a petco/smart can give.

Keith is very knowledgeable about fish and won't try to sell you something that doesn't make any sense. I've been buying fresh/saltwater fish here for 3 years with a good survival rate, and they're a little cheaper than the bigger fish stores.

This store is amazing Keith The store owner is the man So being in the Hobby for over 15 years this has to be the best store and Spectacular customer service the fish and tanks that i bought are a good value for sure the fish are very healthy and happy the dry goods that i have bought are also a good value i would like to also thank the helpful girls that work at the store and Gary is always a pleasure to deal with thanks again
