Finding the perfect groomer can be rough especially when you have an anxious dog. After struggling to get appointments and feeling like my pup wasn't getting the love he deserves at Pet Paradise in Wesley Chapel, I decided to try UrbanWagz. What a difference!UrbanWagz is the best! We’ve been to nearly every groomer in South Tampa and finally found the best! Scheduling is super easy, communication response time is always quick if I ever have any questions and even though the location is downtown, we’ve never had a problem finding parking right in front of the shop for drop off/pick up. The first time we took our pups for a groom I brought photos of what I wanted and they came home looking exactly how I wanted! What I love the most is that they continue to consistently look like the same at pick up! I never worry that I’m going to be surprised with a different haircut! My pups have always looked so cute, the cuts are done with precision, they smell wonderful and wear a sweet little accessory! The staff are so friendly, welcoming and very professional! If you’re looking for a groomer, don’t look any further than UrbanWagz!

Izzy had such a great experience here. She allowed her ears to be cleaned and nails to be cut without fighting it. I used the self wash station to give her a quick bath and it was amazing. Brushes, towels, dryer, soaps, sprays and more all available for use. Thank you! We will be back!

10/10 recommend bringing your fur child to UrbanWagz. When I brought Archie home, he was only two months old. I wanted to make sure wherever I took him, that they would not only provide a great service, but treat him with all the love and care. Archie absolutely loves going to UrbanWagz. By the time he recognizes where he’s headed, his tail is wagging and he’s ready to jump out of the car! Not to mention, Archie always comes home looking and smelling fresh. Had the most amazing life saving experience for my baby here at Urbanwagz. I had taken my pup pacer to his original groomer and he had an horrific experience my poor baby was shaking and smelled worse than how I took him in. In desperation I called urbanwagz which is literally a 2 minute walk from my home. Thank you to urbanwagz I was able to take my pup in last minute!! They were super attentive to everything and treated him like royalty! Although he had two baths in one day he left urbanwagz smelling amazing but not just that he left super happy! As a pup parent you know if your baby is happy we are happy!!

If you’re in downtown, or anywhere close by then I highly recommend bringing your pet here! They do an amazing job with both of my dogs. They are a blessing to have close by and to be able to trust my dogs with them. If you haven’t already swing by and meet the staff and find out why they are the best in the downtown area for grooming and boarding!

I brought my dog in for a grooming and specifically asked for her hair to be cut short and NOT BUZZED. I even showed a picture of a similar haircut I wanted and she was shaved bald and naked. Im very frustrated by this as it was completely and entirely wrong. My poor dog. What were they thinking?????

The best grooming store I’ve ever visit. I’m coming from different country and I’m telling you that the urbanwagz is the best place for our furry friends. They treat my dog with such a good care plus they send me a professional picture of her with a Christmas decoration (Christmas 2023). It was the best gift ever. Thank you so much guys and I’ll see you next time.P.s my rating for this store is 100/10. ☺️

They changed the name but they have the same bad old services. I dropped off my dog at 12 pm and I could not pick him up until 15:00. 3 hours for just a bath on a 30 pounds dog Shiba Inu and why? Because as the old place used to do…they book tons of dogs at the same time when they don’t have the capacity.I wanted to give them another chance after the change of management and the change of brand but I won’t take my dog back there any more. This is a living proof of a business that treats dogs like cars…the more the better so the can pocket as much as the can.As a reference, I took my dog to another groomer a month ago during a trip, they only book one dog at the time for each person working there and took them 50 minutes and the results where even better.

AMAZING experience at UrbanWagz today!! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive to all my requests. They gave Mia the royal treatment, from a soothing bath ( which she desperately needed ) to a super stylish haircut! I could tell they genuinely care about the well beings of the dogs they groom. I'll definitely be returning and do highly recommend this place for anyone looking for top notch treatment and well rounded atmosphere!

my dog has always been a little timid. hates his paws being touched or his nails being clipped, a lot of people have refused to give him hair cuts bc he can sometimes be a lil nasty but this place always says he does great & is super sweet!! ashley always kill it & gets it done super fast. they are all so sweet & work with him so well. i won’t go anywhere else!!!
