Google Alice Holt Tampa Fl. She's been banned from owning dogs for animal cruelty by an actual judge. In 2019 the county seized 350 dogs from her location. Please stay clear if you love dogs. Alice Holt has a long history of selling sick dogs and has been found guilty of animal cruelty. Report her!

Honestly I am surprised at all the bad reviews. It was my first time using Trish’s after simply finding them through a Google search while looking for an affordable place close to my home. The place is not a fancy boutique by any means so if that’s what you’re expecting maybe that could be an explanation for all the negative reviews.The store front is a little ghetto looking, hidden in a weird dead end alley and has a little bit of a odor when you first walk in. On the positive side they are very reasonably price (even honored a random coupon I showed them that I don’t think was even theirs no questions asked), they were fast, caring & nice to my dog, and his haircut turned out great. They did all the little things without me even asking (plucked the hairs inside his ears, anal gland thingy, nail trimming, cologne, and more ).I called to see how busy they were at approximately 2 PM and they were very accommodating to me. I showed up 20 minutes later, dropped off my dog, and they called me back about two hours later all done. I hate places that just want to chat your face off and ask you a million questions about you and your pet, thankfully this is not one of those places and I think that’s what I liked about it most. They say appointments are required after like 1pm but not necessarily because i went around 5pm, again it was quick in and out and I likely will go back there again the next time my dog needs his haircut. $35 for everything mentioned above plus a shampoo cleaning and I didn’t have to fill out a whole bunch of crappy paperwork!I don’t do very many reviews but because of all the negative reviews I read and my positive experience there I felt that I should go ahead and review it so that other people may give them a chance and see that it’s not as bad as the reviews actually claim. Maybe I could’ve given them 4 stars because there was a slight odor inside the place. I don’t care for fancy rich overpriced animal boutiques, I just need to groom my damn dog; all in all it was a great experience and worth 5 stars.

I have had my dogs done by this person for many many years. I have never had a complaint. She is honest, professional and pretty much does as the client wants considering that she or they have a coat to work with. The store front is not immaculately clean, but where the dogs are kept and where they are groomed it is clean. The prices are reasonable and I would not trust my pets to just anyone. Keep up the good work.

Once again I have to say that the groomer here Al did a wonderful job.i took my weiner dog who is a long haired variety to him. He did such a stand up job. I took a picture but my dog didn't pose very good. I just like the way that he handled him. He was gentle and kind, and the cut was Perfect. You cannot Beat the cut or the price.

Never take your dogs to get groomed here. Horrible grooming service, could have done better myself at home. My boyfriend brought my dogs here since we needed grooming on short notice. Wish he would have read the reviews. Because i would have not let him take them here to a place that shouldn’t even be in business. My dogs have a bald spot in the middle of there faces where he completely just shaved it bald to the skin and left hair everywhere else. Not even what so ever anywhere. Absolutely horrible Cut. DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS HERE. This place does not deserve anyone’s business. Give your business to a place that deserves it.

My husband called before 3 pm and asked for service for our 4 shih tzus. The gentleman agreed to let him bring all of them without an appointment. We've taken them at least 3 times before. The place is smelly but the service is good. An older lady and man takes care of the dogs. I felt it was a fair price for all 4 dogs.

I'm not sure who answered the phone but he was So rude! Just got off the phone with him I said I needed grooming for a large dog he was very short with me seemed irritated immediately then he told me he couldn't help me if I didn't know the breed. (I was calling on behalf of a friend and I didn't know the breed just the weight ) then I said the pounds of the dog was all the information I had and he hung up in my face. I have a means to call back and cuss him out disgusting

At first I was a little skeptical, not going to lie, but the service was great. My dogs were afraid at first seeing as how this was their first grooming. They bathed, trimmed, nail trimming and even put a cute bandana on them. My dogs were clean and they were happy. Our new gosh groomers.

I have been going to Trish's for about 6 months, on my FINAL and LAST visit they must have hit my dog in the eye while trimming him I would have understood if they explained what happen, but they didn't plus the hair cut was just horrible patches everywhere. Please Please Please Please remember our pets can't tell us how they are treated we as pet owners must definitely look for signs......... If you love your pet and dont like wasting your hard earned money. (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON"T TAKE YOUR PET TO TRISH'S................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

This is the WORST GROOMING place in tampa. The had my dog for over 5 hours and then when I went to check in on her they were very RUDE we said we'd call you ...and when I was there I seen roaches crawling on the floor. And I also seen their supposedal technican which is a big black guy with GOLD teeth miss treat a little dog. When I got my dog back they removed all her fur ! & they also cut her ear and her back leg. They had the nerve to lie and say my dog came in there with a cut on her ear which was a bold face lie. The next day I went back for a refund when I noticed my poor dog limping on gee back leg that is when she wrote me a note saying they would pay for the vet fees and within that note she ADMITTED that they were the ones who in fact cut my dog . Trisha and her tech have no care for animals they just care about money !

I really love the way my dog turned out . He was so nice , and just the perfect hair cut I wanted for him . Trish is awesome. And so is her helper . I will continue to come here . I'm so happy with the service , from the phone call to the pick up . Just awesome ! Thank you trish

I could never figure out where all the dog barking was coming from... I live 7 blocks away and would notice it would ramp up before Christmas. I honestly thought it was just a back yard breeder a block or 2 away breeding one or two litters. I even drove around one night listening. I didn't drive far enough. Had I seen or heard 340 dogs I would have lost my temper on those soulless idiots.

Brought my dog in for grooming and greeted by staff that smelled of alcohol and smoke. ASKED for payment in advance then later when I picked dog up asked for payment again. THANKFULLY I PAID WITH A VISA...SCARED LATER OF SOMEONE TAKING MY INFO EMPLOYEES DON'T LOOK TRUSTWORTHY. DOG SHAVEN VERY LOW AND UNEVEN. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE RETURN AND the place smelled bad.

Wow, I dropped my dog off at 10 am for a trim and trish was not there some cleaning lady said just drop him off and sign him in with info along with type of cut.4:30 pm my wife swings by to pick him up and they did not know he was even there, really!it's now 6pm and he's comming home ready or not.really sad

NEVER EVER BRING YOUR ANIMAL TO THIS PLACE!!! I brought my dog here to get a simple bath and they CUT HER HAIR && nails etc.. Then had the audacity to say I have to pay for it. Never again will I be bringing my dog to this place ALL they want is MONEY && don't even care about the animals.. Im highly disappointed in the services Period.

I called Trish's to ask why she had discarded syringes on the floor. She said she was a breeder. I asked about the bad reviews of cruelty and doing a lousy job. She didn't care. Breeding overpopulated dogs to make a profit is NOT a sign of one who respects animals. Why take an adopted, abandoned dog to a groomer who is producing MORE throwaway animals. Dogs are not merchandise. Avoid this callous place.
