DO NOT do business with this company!! We are still waiting to be paid from Royal Pets. They bounced checks with us multiple times, and then made false promises that they were going to pay us. I have never been treated this way, and hoping this review will prevent this from happening to others.I don't even want to give them 1 star, they don't know how to treat people. I have never met a more UNPROFESSIONAL AND DECEITFUL COMPANY!! STAY AWAY, AND DEFINITELY TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSE WHERE. I was hoping they would make this right, and we give them plenty of time, but all we get are lies and false promises that the money is going to be paid. We are owed over $3000 for business we did in December. If you make this right and pay us, then I will take this bad review down. I gave you plenty of time but you just ignored me and so I had no choice but to write this. I can't even sleep at night thinking how you must be treating your other employees and vendors that work with you. Do you treat others this way?

This place is such an embarrassment. Ceilings falling apart and also moldy. Water floods from the ceilings whenever theres heavy rain. Poorly ran, they get rid of people who have an actual care for the pets coming in and out of the establishment. Most of the other people who work there talk crap about pet parents, your pet, people they work with, etc. There is no structure to the business.. Those of us who have been laid off still have yet to be paid and it's been almost a month since we have been paid last. They don't care about their current or precious workers livelihood. The rates are over the roof for their services. Customers are being charged for things that alot of times don't even happen. Every chance I had, I would go and love on the pets but not many others operated the same way as I did and it was a very unfortunate experience for me as a person who loves and enjoys working with animals to see that not everyone was the same. It is bittersweet for me not to be there as I grew many relationships with pets and their pet parents but it was all for the better as I've realized that this company doesn't care about their employees and guests..... how do you not pay your workers??? Vendors??? And still get away with running this place ??? If you bring your pet here please look elsewhere for the safety and well being of your pet because this place can no longer be trusted. I feel horrible for preaching highly of this place to current and potential customers all for it to be a different story. I could say more but I would be writing for a lifetime.

Stop shopping at a company that literally is against labor welfare. They don't pay their employees, and they lie to- not only us but to customers about their services. You're paying upon THOUSANDS of dollars for a service you can get for HALF at another company. Please, do your research before coming in and boarding. Along with Vet services, they charge over $2,000 for heartworm REMOVAL. Simply stop shopping here and supporting their business that they can't keep up with. It's terrible for the ones that stay, and continue to defend/shop at a company that treats their employees absolutely horrendous.

Horrible experience with the grooming services. Jagged, uneven, choppy cuts. Asked for a schnauzer cut and received a poorly executed shave. Do not let the groomer Philip touch your dog’s hair. He rushed the grooming and didn’t bother following through with our clearly stated requests—a simple schnauzer cut for both of our miniature schnauzers. If Philip has experience, it definitely does not show. The absolute worst groomer I’ve ever had the displeasure of utilizing. I would highly suggest Royal Pets address this issue to ensure Philip and/or other staff do not repeat his inexcusable mistakes. His work is sloppy and he obviously does not take pride in his work. Royal Pets should never have allowed this to happen. I was told the manager Shirley would call to discuss the issue, but never received a call. We will not be returning.

This place has way too many hidden fees for boarding expenses. I would make sure to get a written estimate and confirm with them the costs. It is ridiculous the extra costs they are tacking on in addition to boarding rate.

They refuse to pay employeeAnd they won't answer the phones or email or texts from employee trying to chase down their pay. No banks will even cash their paychecks, neither will Amscot. They owe my daughter 2 weeks worth of pay and she is a 21 year old m mom now being evicted. Terrible place ran by heartless terrible people. I feel bad for the pets they are suppose to watch.

What is going on with the store? are they going out of business? in the past few months I have been there multiple times to buy the beef Bully Sticks for my dogs and they hardly have any left.. the shelves are pretty bare they always say the same thing shipment is delayed really? The people who work there seems like they get annoyed because you ask him what is going on?

Worst place ever to bring your dogs. They treat their employees like trash and the dogs get no daycare time although your paying for it. Your dog might get to go play for a whole hour, even if your dog is left there all day for daycare.

They have more elusive brands of food, specifically cat treats. They have way more new freeze dried and raw foods that the competitors still don't have stocked. They're always helpful & friendly, and have cool accessories and toys for cats that other pet stores don't have. Prices are ok, but their selection is incomparable. Love this store.

This location should just close down. Have had bad experiences with their grooming and them taking too long like 5 hours is absolutely ridiculous. Not a good environment for Dogs at all. Highly don’t recommend Royal Pets stay away.

I want to thank the manager Cristian for referring me to Royal Pets. When my vet couldn't get me in right away Royal Pets did. There was no wait. Dr. Nobuki was so great with my two little fur babies. They absolutely loved being there.When I walked in I wasn't expecting it to be so big or for them to offer so much. Royal Pets is definitely a one stop shop. This makes it so convenient for people like my self that work all the time. I highly recommend this place to anyone! Thank you Royal Pets!

UPDATE 05/31/2019:In response to their response to my review, I did speak to the manager but he did not offer any resolutions. He did however offer a lot of excuses and a minimal discount that he couldn't tell me how much over the phone to cover the cost of my cage -- even though it was his staff's fault. I am NEVER returning and will board my pet elsewhere. Do not take your pet here!ORIGINAL REVIEW 05/22/2019:I like that they will take in your pet even if they are spade or not and a co-worker had told me about this place so we took a shot and we are slightly pleased but not by much. They remembered our dogs and took great care of them so that part deserves one star. I got the "chamber suite" but it does not come with the webcam even though on the website it states free webcam so that part is a bit tricky. I don't know what is required to get free webcam but it wasn't provided to us at either visits and we've taken our dogs there twice.After looking in my bag that I left with them, they never took out the toys for my dogs or the rawhide bones that I got them so one of my dogs got bored and chewed my other dog's cage and now I'm stuck with a broken cage that came in perfect condition. I am very disappointed. My dogs were neglected and I believe it wouldn't have been any different if I paid an extra $5 for "pictures and extra playtime". I think it's all a sham.The check out process is painful too because you're waiting there for 10+ minutes to get your paperwork and dogs. Our information got mixed up with another person with the same name so that was quite an inconvenience too so yeah. After I get my pup spade at 2 years, I will probably look for something closer to the Brandon/Riverview area.The staff was great, I can't complain. If your pup/dog isn't up to date on shots, they provide them onsite for a fee but I would also check with your vet to make sure the price comparison is the same because I got mine at my vet the first time and the second time at the resort because it was cheaper. It's an okay place but the location is too far for me (45 minutes) and it's hard to check out and check in your dog.

I sent my Bichon poo for boarding as well as paid for the snack and play . This was my first and last time that I will use Royal Pets for Boarding as my puppy was attacked and bitten by a big dog ( A Husky) which she shouldn't have been close , near big dogs, or closely watched as she is a puppy and only weighs 7 Lbs approximately. They had to Staple the one wound and seal the otherand give her antibiotics. I'm upset with how they acted as if they did me a favor by not charging me for the antibiotics and vet care for an incident that happened on their watch.Not a pleasant first experience. Will not return.

Took my cat 2 wks ago for few shots. He was away from me 30-40 minutes for the shots. He still got one of the shot bump scar tissue on his right leg close to his ankle.

I had the worst experience of my life today! We have taken our dog here many times for day care. We have also used them once for long term boarding and 4-5 times for grooming. She is almost 1 year old and is not spayed yet, though she has not had her first heat. Today, after we dropped her off and on our way out of town, the staff informed us by phone that she would have to be crated all day. We were told their policy is that no dogs over 6 months can be allowed in the day care area unless fixed, even though she has been there multiple times since her 6 month mark. We were never told about this policy and were given no options or recourse today. I spoke to a manager and passionately requested a one time exception. She chose to enforce the policy over being humane to my dog, even though no unfixed males were present today. We were not charged for the visit, but it is very upsetting that they crated her up all day against our wishes (the very thing we wanted to avoid by taking her to daycare). We will choose a different provider for day care, bording and grooming moving forward.

A little on the pricey side, I checked out at $180 on my first trip there, but totally worth the treats, supplements, etc. I got for my furry best friend! I loved the gourmet treats and options! I had no idea this place was more than just a doggy daycare, and now I definitely need to go back to buy more things! I loved that they have a huge variety of products to choose from! Think of your typical dog store but upgraded.

On Sunday I had the worst experience of my life I left my dog ​​to make his grooming at 2 in the afternoon and four hours later they called me to tell me that the dog did not cooperate that he did not allow the groomer to do anything. I have a Welsh Terrier and he is still a puppy and I know they have a difficult character but the groomer from the day one named my dog ​​as "crazy" that's what she calls him every time I took Messi there and always had a bad attitude. When I get there my dog ​​was, anxious, upset, he just wanted to run away from that place, the groomer was extremely rude, they also hurt him and she has the nerve to say that it was not them. This is in regards to their veterinary clinic. By far one of the best experiences I've had with a vet, though they can be quite pricey. Dr Nobuki is a phenomenal vet! His thoroughness in pet care and willingness to follow through after hard visits is so reassuring to know that there's good practioners in this world.Again, while this place is a little pricey, they will make your pet feel at home with a dedicated staff.My only side note would be to make sure your communication with them is as thorough as possible. They are a high volume facility, and sometimes information can slip through the cracks of friendly conversations.

We tried different pet boarding places in the area and the only one that our dog really enjoys it's Royal Pets! We can tell when we walk her inside that she enjoys being there. Also, the Vet services are top notch with fair prices. We needed medication for our Fur Baby and they took care of it really fast. Super professional and friendly staff. Definitely reccommend a 1000%!!
