A relatively new business for this plaza, Ace has only been around for a few years. It's a clean, well attended store that always appears to be empty.Since their prices are not really that competitive, I am guessing that convenience and their discount coupons are what keeps them in business. That has been my reason for coming in.While much smaller than their competitors, they have most of the small day to day needs a home requires. Tools, machinery, light bulbs, gardening, grills, landscaping items, gloves, nails, nuts, bolts and screws. It's much quicker and more convenient.

Went to this location looking for power tools, they harassed me and followed me around the store like I was going to steal something. Sad, because they do have good inventory and fair prices. With so many online sellers is not smart to treat customers with that mindset. That’s why some stores go bankrupt.

I rarely ever leave reviews, as most places I frequent give good service. But, this was my first time at this Ace, and I have to give associate Brendan a 6star rating. I was simply looking for an exterior white paint and he was very knowledgeable and helpful in choosing the correct product that I needed. He really went over and above by explaining different color options and variations for that specific paint as well as another color I was having trouble finding. Exceptional professionalism and service! I would recommend giving this man a generous raise! Thank you again!

Ace hardware offers key cutting service!Great! But when I went in store, they refuse cutting the key I have because it's not a key they have sold me. Don't see the point of offering a service but only if you buy it from them.

For the place with the helpful hardware folks the owner was pretty snarky and rude. The workers were very friendly and helpful. I had over $500 dollars worth of products I was about to buy. Ace advertises a 10 percent military discount but owner would not honor the discount. The employee that was ringing up the items had to ask the owner if they would owner the discount and the owner made a snarky face and said no and walked off. I walked out after that leaving $500 worth of product on the counter. I guess the owner can do whatever they want but doesn't mean they will be getting anymore of my business.

Worst experience I've ever had at Ace or any store. We were aggressively rushed when we walked in the door. Instead of asking how they could assist or if we needed help finding anying. An older gentlemen with glasses yelled " WHAT DO YOU NEED!" He was rude and aggressive we almost left grabbed our filters but we will not be back. They could use some customer service training. I've never seen anything like that he should work in the warehouse if he doesn't know how to talk or treat customers.

Wow! Employee Todd acted like I was bothering him, when I was looking for a specific part with the part number. He called another store, only to become impatient with that employee and hung up the phone on him. Mind you, Todd’s store had zero other customers, during my entire visit. Somebody needs to explain to Todd that without customers buying products, he would not have a job.

Never any inventory. Went there 3 times since A/C filters were on sale all through the month of August. Never had my size. Was told on the first visit a truck was coming in. Showed up on the day I was told to, and truck had not arrived. Went back again - no Ace Hardware filters in my size. Went to another Ace Hard ware and stocked up. Additionally, they use to be helpful and walk you to what you needed. Now, they are involved with their own personal conversations among other employees, and tell you the aisle number. They were also out of the spray paint that was on sale. Every time I go to this place for something advertised they never have the item. Went in for a GFCI outlet - none. This was one of those days I was told an aisle number and looked and looked, and then had to go find help.

Very nice, neat and clean place to shop for anything hardware for your home and the staff of all men was even nicer and easy on the eyes lol. They were extremely helpful and pleasant. That will be my favorite store from now on. It's a little further out than home depot but I think I'd rather take the drive. Thank you kindly.

All the staff were really nice to us, and comparing to the other Ace locations I've been too they have to be the nicest. They are also cooperative, I purchased a weed wacker there and the power head stoped working and I was able to swap it out hassle free. 5 Stars

A great place to get hard to find items, but a loud conversation about politics with customers, particularly supportive of Trump, discouraged me. Not only is it inappropriate, but in a crowd of caucasian associates and customers in Carrolwood, gave off a white power vibe. I'll stay home and order from Prime and eBay from now on thanks

Very bad experience at store. Management was very unhelpful with my situation. Bought a toe strap a month ago and the thing broke the second time I pulled a 2000 pound car, even tho it's rated for 5000 pounds. Called and talked to Todd and he said come by and hell swap it out. Turns out I went all the way there and he refused to exchange it for a new one.. deff lost a soldierI'd customer but your loss
