The staff ignored us. Nice size store. There are some empty shelves. At least most of their isles are not blocked like most DG's. Still the rude staff makes us stay away!

This store does not great black woman shoppers. They make black women feel uncomfortable and un welcome. I hate it. I have to come to this area twice a month to pick up my prescription from from the Butterfly Pharmacy a few doors down. I be in need to purchase a few things from this dollar store but I almost always reframe from going into this store because they give me the most weird unwelcome look. Call me sensitive if u want. When im spending my hard earned money I want to be appreciated. Not stereotyped.

Down the street from my house and near my gym so I end up buying random essentials from here. Everyone always has some attitude about checking out, it's always a disgusting mess and smells like mold. Yesterday (1/15/20) I went here and saw this. OVER A YEAR EXPIRED, and there were multiple. Just bulldoze it and start over because they clearly have no standards.

I walked into this location at 8:40pm and was scolded this location closes in 4 minutes. Yet the sign on the door and online says you close at 9pm. You cannot lock the doors of a store and trap 15 people inside 20 minutes before you close like we are prisoners. That’s a fire hazard and not somewhere I want to continue giving money. Not only is the customer service here at this location absolute trash you don’t even honor something plastered on your front door and online. If you don’t want people coming in after 9pm then you should have someone at the door letting outside people know and not locking everyone inside. This is not the first time you do it either, because every time I drive by and try to come in before 9 the door is either locked or I get yelled at for coming in. I hope district managers and leaders read this and take a look at this location since I have never been so disappointed and disrespected by another DG location before. If you want to close at 8:30 then change your store hours. Otherwise get people in that follow what’s advertised. I literally walked in, got scolded, grabbed what I needed and paid within 2 minutes. There was no need for that display. DG has lost my business moving forward.

My shopping experience is always horrible. I catch the city bus for transportation so as I may shop I accumulate bags however I Always leave them right at the front of the door risking someone taking my belongings as they walk out the store. What hurts my feelings is every single time I come in to shop I feel watched. It's evident they racially profile. Iv been investigating this for a while now. I am African American and I have a cleaning service and I should not have to feel this way spending my hard earned money.

I arrived at 8:55 pm last night. My car charger stopped working and just needed to grab one. The door was locked. I asked guy if they were closed. He said no, but I had to have my item paid for in 3 mins. Craziness. I know you want to go. But there were still other patrons inside?

Manager Kelly is trash very disrespectful she can't explain what's going on in her store but want to beat you made about your money you're spending how you have a cashier that can't speak or understand English and she don't ID nobody buying tobacco products but yet Dollar General pretend that's the policy guess it really depends on your color

I shop there several times a week. The store has come a long way since my first visit. Seems like they are staying on top of stocking shelves and is overall cleaner. The people that used to ask for money when you enter or leave the store have moved on. I feel badly for them but can't spare anything. There are a few reps there that do not speak English... I would think that would, or SHOULD be a requirement for employment. Hard to get an answer from them when all you get is "no speak English".That's the only reason I gave them 4 out of 5 stars.

Some very good deals. Impressive selection for Valentine's Day. The cashier that checked me out was friendly & efficient. Only the clothing isle was messy but that could have been because of stocking.

As the owner of a small business in Tampa, I can certainly appreciate quality customer service. The manager of this store, Michelle Thomas, is truly exceptional. She really goes above and beyond - every time I come in - to help me find everything I need for my office. The store has a wide selection of items for my business that we use frequently and the prices are very, very good. Hats off to the staff and management at Dollar General! It's so nice to get great service locally.

Wish I kept the receipt to have her name as reference here but I tossed it. Steer clear from this store. Lady who checked me out, seemed like a manager who works night shift, did not want to be bothered with when you ask nicely about questions. The store was a complete mess! Toys thrown everywhere.....laundry detergent busted and leaking everywhere on the shelves! Nothing in order. ONLY reason I stopped in was to shop clearance Dollar general has, extra 50% off already clearanced items. Items weren't marked clearance but I kind of knew that they were so I asked for THREE items to be price checked and I got the nastiest attitude. So what's the point of having these sales if we don't even feel wanted in the store??? You couldn't ask that woman anything without her giving a negative reaction. Why do you work there then? I wouldn't ask for a price check if things were neat, organized and in its spot!

I used to go there for everything now I been forced to go to the one in waters because the terrible service they provide, they lack of the very basic skills to treat the customer right, they treat you like you are bothering and they give you the worse service I have ever received from a convenient store.I have tried everything and nothing work for them, I have go there nicely dress on my new car and I am treat like garbage, I have gone there dress like a homeless and they treat you same way, I have speak perfect English tried spanish, tried been very serious, tried been funny. Nothing work with the people who work on there, I give up, don't go there no more period, I am happy with the good service I am receiving on the waters location, they even tell you have a nice day. Wow what a difference...

Unfortunately, I was shopping around and saw a product that I wanted to purchase. Once I arrived to check out my items, the cashier rang out an item at a higher price but the product was marked on a lower price. I politely asked to speak to the manager regarding the mistagged/misplaced item and once i informed her the situation, she rudely got an attitude before i even told her what had happened. Instead of her taking the responsibility of apologizing for the inconvenience, or at least matching the price that the item was marked as, she chose to get an attitude and ignore the problem by telling me to come visit the next day to speak to the “manager”, but i thought SHE was the manager because thats who i asked to speak to in the first place. As upset as i was, I chose to leave the product because i was extremely upset with the way she handled the situation AS A MANAGER. However, the cashier was nice, polite, and more attentive to handle the situation rather than the manager herself. This is my FIRST time shopping at this location and my LAST.

Bad experience been going there for 20 years.. No more...the cashier was VERY rude and when I asked to talk to manager she said she was the manager and give me a face I told her I will call corporate office she keep making fun of me like challenging me to do it... Never felt so humiliated.. I did nothing wrong whatsoever and I was expecting a simple apology for the old system no working properly instead I get an aptitude and nasty way to say "Are you going to pay or not" like a treat, when I had already paid and the machine approved and ask me to remove my chip credit card.If she can't be nice to the public she should be working some place else...

Most times I go in it is a very pleasant experience. Only had one real dissatisfaction with the service yet it was a truck day and I know how busy and hectic those days can be, on this particular day I was quickly told that an item was not in stock specifically so that the employee did not have to go look for it. Confirmed the next day when it was back on the shelf.

I would give this place no stars, but then you cant leave a review. Worst customer service. Not to mention they don't speak ENGLISH here, common people, it is the US, I get it, it is a Spanish community, but you need to at least have your workers speak and understand some English.

Dollar store with food items, cleaning and home supplies, clothes, shoes, and toiletries. They also sell tobacco products as well. Pillows and bedroom items are also on sale at this location. I usually come here because they have inexpensive K-cups for the Keurig coffee machines, ranging anywhere from $5 to $10, which is cheap compared to other store brands. The coffee itself is actually really good, as well. The store is a little too dark (need better lights) to walk around and the place can seem a bit cluttered at times.

Well when i went yestuday i only seen one empoyee and a couple of pretty ladys i was looking for a torch for my oil burner they didnt have the one i was looking for however they did have a small one btw it broke the reason i gave 3 stars cause my friend 5 finger the mini torch lighter and no one said anything lmao
