My dog and I LOVE Bow Wow and the women who work there. My pup gets so excited when we even pull into the parking lot. He is sprinting to get greeted by his favorite people. My dog loves being spoiled and pampered, while I love knowing my dog is in good hands. I asked them to do something creative and cute this time and they went above and beyond expectations. Love having a groomer I can trust, and a whole shop who loves my dog as much as he loves them.

Laurie did a fantastic job with my tiny Yorkie, Karma. I asked for the "full ride" (shampoo, condition, trim, ears, nails, teeth, glands, etc.) and boy did she deliver! I'm not sure Karma has ever looked or smelled this good. It's cute overload! Laurie was personable, professional, and her and her staff's communication was exemplary. Very highly recommended, as I will be back next time!

Wonderful experience from start to finish. The friendliest staff who go above and beyond for your pet as well as the owners. I’m a new cat owner of a 7 year old Persian and I was unsure of how my cat would react to being groomed, staff did amazing and took into consideration the tolerance of my cat. My cat did not tolerate the underbelly and they could see how stressed my cat was and with their professional judgement stopped, which I greatly appreciated. They then began to recommend places with a vet on hand in case of needed sedation or medical attention. I highly recommend this place!!

They are the nicest staff who are quick and efficient. I trust leaving my pup in their care. James just got groomed and they gave him the cutest Christmas tie, an ornament with a “J” and a sweet card.

Never again, this is what they did to our dog, I specifically said I didn’t want her to be shaved, we brush her everyday and were trying to grow her four long, she did not have any tangles, the lady told me she would call me if anything. Just lazy, it’s a lot easier to shave them Down than to detangle them. I can do a better job bathing and shaving them at home, if we are bringing them to a pet salon is because we are looking for a professional job, does this look professional ? Not to me !! Very disappointed, I will never go back to bow wow pet salon. We read all of the reviews, maybe we were just unlucky, or the reviews are all fake. I had to share my honest experience.

This is the second time we took our dog to this groomer. The first time, our dog looked as if she wasn't even groomed or bathed This time we gave specific instructions. The end result was horrific. Looked as if someone chopped her hair with scissors free hand. Sooo uneven, cut our shitzu so short you can see her skin. She has bald spots on her body, ears cut short near her eyes and her butt is cut like a bamboon. Nails were not cut even though we paid for grinding. She was cut so short it was uncomfortable for her, scooting, scratching and jumping in pain. They didnt even try to remedy it or tell us to come back for a correction visit. We Will never use them again.

I have been taking my fur baby Zoey to Bow Wow Pet Salon for about one year now after trying several other groomers. Lori is by far the best. She listens to what I want done and exceeds expectations every time. Her hair coloring skills are amazing!! My dog looks like a show dog and gets so many compliments. The salon is run professionally. I will continue to make the 35 min commute there for the exceptional service. I highly recommend this pet salon!!

Terrible establishment. Don’t call to set up an appointment, they seldomly pick up their phones. To make matters worse, the Front desk worker is a rude individual. Makes me question how they treat the pets when left for grooming. Have only gotten a grooming once, and that will remain the last time. There are more elsewhere that is welcoming. Would give 0 stars if possible.

I moved to WC a couple years ago and after visiting numerous places I finally found Laurie and the gang. They are so nice and helpful. My sweet girl hates getting her nails cut and they make it so quick and easy for her. We also use the self wash which makes my life so much easier. Its in a separate room which is perfect cause your dog isn't distracted by all the chaos of other people and pets. They pretty much provide everything you need for the self wash and if it's not provided it's probably for sale in the lobby area. Definitely glad I found Bow Wow!

The staff is friendly, professional and truly passionate. The salon itself is very clean and tidy. Brought my two dogs here several times and they've exceeded my expectations every single time. Thiago the groomer is phenomenal! I'm so glad I discovered this place so close to home. But even if they weren't so close, I wouldn't hesitate to travel a long distance to get my pets groomed here. When I leave my fur babies in their care, I know they are in loving safe hands. Rest assured you won't be disappointed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Just a shout out to Lori & her team, my Havenese dog Charlie while he is usually an amazing well trained dog, he does not like being groomed. I originally brought him to Petco , who 5 minutes into his cut , called me to come pick him up because he behaved so terribly. I shared this story with my dog sitter who highly recommended Lori at Bow Wow.I was so glad she did as I took Charlie there. The 1st time was a little rough, I have to admit & I had to stay with Charlie to keep him calm. Lori was as patience as a saint & did a great job with him giving him a great cut. She recommended the next time that maybe it might be a good idea to give him a sedative, which I did the next time was much better and again Lori gave Charlie a great cut.I just went again last week & this time Charlie sedative did not kick in, it was rough & I even suggested that maybe I take Charlie home as he could of hurt himself trying to get out of the harness. Lori unhooked Charlie from the harness and continued with his cut, she calmed Charlie down as a good dog whisperer does and once again gave Charlie a great cut.I usually do not write reviews on business, but I felt that Lori & her tram does such a great job I felt compelled to take a couple of minutes toShare my story & to anyone looking for a place that cares about your dogs & know what they are doing I highly recommend Bow Bow Dog grooming. 5 stars.Mike EganNew Tampa

I cant say enough GREAT things about Laurie and her staff. Our rescue was scared the few places we tried before Bow Wow. From day 1, he was calm not fearful of her or the new salon. That said a lot to us. She treats them all like they are her own fur-babies. He will never go to any other place we have been with them for 4 years. And I cant say enough great things about them. We call them family!

Today was our first experience. The staff was wonderful to my baby. This was my kitten Ray’s first visit to a groomer. They loved him and made him comfortable and was amazing throughout the whole experience. He loves the little toy mouse they gave him. Thiago was wonderful! We will be back.

I cannot ask for a better groomer dog was well taken care of looked absolutely amazing when the they finished. I have found my new groomer! Staff was excellent very nice animal lovers taking care of animals. My dog was happy and not stressed at all love this place!

The staff was great. The girl that took care of my dog was super sweet and he looked great after his cut. Usually he's scared and unsure but he left a happy dog and I think it's because he loved his experience there. Will definitely return. Thanks for the great service!

After using this salon for 2 or more years, we were disappointed to start receiving harassing phone calls about missed appointments that we never scheduled or needed. It’s happened twice in the last month and the staff are quite nasty. I’m not sure if it’s a new computer system that’s causing the issue but there is no excuse for the way we are being spoken to. As a supporter of local businesses I would NEVER schedule something and not show. Next month when our dog needs a grooming appointment, we will be selecting another provider. We wish you the best but hope you can get to the bottom of this issue and treat your remaining customers better.

If I could give a 1/2 star I would. I originally took my 3 mini poodles to Bow Wow Boutique because of Fab reviews online. I have taken them 4 times. I was always running late but I always called ahead to let them know I was on my way. Each time I arrived the groomers displayed their disgust that I was late. Then came the lecture and warning of the late charge. I always felt like I was an inconvenience to the business. It seems they lack social skills. They dictate to the customer how things have to be and are not very accommodating. The groomers certainly do NOT go out of their way to please the customer. However, the most upsetting part is that my dogs started losing their hair after the 4th visit due to a BACTERIAL infection. After numerous visits to the vet, him telling me to never return to that groomer and $$$$$ spent on ointments and meds I will not be returning! I forgot I had scheduled an appointment there this month but after a voicemail from the owner telling me that she actually cancelled my appointments due to an "incident" the last time I was there (late again) I do not need to cancel it myself! I thought I was the only one with my dogs having health issues from this salon but I bumped into an old friend and asked how her dog was doing. Apparently she use to take her dog here too but is no longer bringing her because one of the groomers cut her eye and after 1 hr after her grooming appointment her dog's eye was shut. My friend spent $300 on vet bills. Her husband -who picked up their dog after the appointment -called Lisa the owner and she completely denied the dog was injured at her salon. I do not know about my friend but I am personally thinking of reporting my own experience to Consumer Affairs.

This was the first time I had my precious rescue dog groomed. I was so nervous because my little terrier had been mistreated prior to his adoption and was skiddish around strangers. His groomer was Tiago and I couldn't have asked for a more caring, gentle and professional person. He did a wonderful job and I am thrilled to have a go to salon from now on!

THIS IS NOT THE SAME SALON AS BEFORE---- When Melody was running it up until last year, it was called Bow Wow Boutique. Now there is a new owner who is TERRIBLE! I had been going there for several years when Melody was the owner. Melody moved to NC without my knowledge several months ago. I made my appointment thinking that she was still there. Once I got to my appointment I was told that there was a price increase to groom my dog. I wasn't told this when I made my appointment but once I got to the salon. Lisa was very rude and said that Melody had been charging me the wrong amount these past few years and that I needed to pay more. I told Lisa that I should have been notified when I made the appointment that the increase in grooming prices should have been shared when the appointment was made not after I got there. After leaving my dog at the salon I posted a question on FB in our local Pets of Wesley Chapel group asking if others had experienced a price increase without notification and someone in the group told Lisa about my post. Lisa, the owner got very upset about my questioning her pricing online. I did not say a single negative thing in my post about Lisa, her salon or how my dog was groomed, only about the increase in price. Today I called to bring my other dog in to get groomed and Lisa said that she was no longer going to groom my dogs because she does not tolerate people writing posts about her business on FB. Again, I did not post anything negative, only if anyone else had a price increase all of a sudden. If this is how a business owner treats a client of several years when that customer questions the pricing of grooming a dog, it just shows the poor business skills and poor customer attitude that this salon has. This salon was run amazingly well when Melody owned it. She was wonderful in every capacity. Lisa unfortunately does not know how to run a business, how to handle customers who question her pricing or realize the ramifications of treating customers poorly. I wish Melody was back because Lisa is just terrible.

Paisley gave Wrigley the best haircut he’s ever had. He has lumps and bumps all over and Paisley handled them perfectly. She took her time and really listened to what we wanted. Additionally dogs are kept in pens around the salon instead of locked in a back room in stacked cages. We will be bringing our puppy to Paisley and Wrigley has fallen in love❣️

Horrible experience! This was the second time that I gave this place a chance and it went horribly wrong. I took my dog in to get his grooming done early in the morning. As my mother was letting them know my dog's name and appointment time, the groomer that I believe was the manager was very rude and unprofessional. She didn't even greet us with a good morning, she just asked for my dog's first and last name and then after told us that someone called to reschedule the appointment. No one in my family called to reschedule the appointment. My mother and I explained that really no one called and she kept insisting that my father was the one that called. My father doesn't even have a cellphone. She didn't even apologies for the confusion, she just kept saying " I can take him in, but I don't know at what time he is going to be out." She sounded like it was a hassle to take him in.I don't want to think that she treated us in that manner because of my last name being Spanish. I just know that I am never ever going back to that horrible place that doesn't know what professionalism is even if it hits them in the face. OHH and it's Christmas you are supposed to be nice and polite. I have to put a 1 star because the system requires it, but the service is less than 1 star.
