Hard to make this up. My son and I went to exchange a propane tank.Entering the store, two customer service employees were catching up on family fun, a 3rd employee was with a customer. We stood in line behind the customer, but were directed to the two conversing employees. When we told the 2 employees we needed propane, they promptly said THERE IS NO MORE PROPANE TANKS.The death glare my son (age 8) got when he blurted out "There are propane tanks everywhere outside" was priceless; and neither employee moved a muscle and sent us away.

The receiver does not value your time. They have to get ready for you to unload yourself. They make seem so hard just to sign some papers. If you don't want to work don't show up.

Get a different answer all the time about military discounts and LOOKS when I ask them about military discounts. I got only 1 sales lady who said yes and asked where I served and thanked me for my service. We had several high price tag orders and were told that now they only honor my discounts with CERTAIN items..

Absolutely thrilled with our experience at Home Depot 3200 Capital Circle NE, Tallahassee! After scouring various stores for a zero turn mower deal, we stumbled upon this gem. Kat, our salesman, was a standout star - incredibly knowledgeable and his sense of humor added an extra layer of enjoyment to our shopping. Kudos to Tony, the manager, for going above and beyond to ensure we left with a deal that fit our needs perfectly. Gina from customer service was an absolute delight, her award-winning customer service skills shone through as she made us feel like top priority. And let's not forget Kari, who not only provided assistance but also brought humor and accommodation to the table. Overall, a stress-free and delightful experience - Home Depot Tallahassee has won us over with their exceptional service!

We returned some molding that was way overpriced. Went to Lowes and got it $1.10 a foot cheaper. They are over priced to say the least. Had purchased 2 cans of popcorn ceiling and their price was 28.00 a can. Was able to purchase elsewhere for 10.99 a can, same size and quality. Also was able to get 2 cycle oil for half the price at Lowe's. Please compare prices with Lowe's or Walmart and even Amazon before being ripped off. We saved over 100.00 by returning the overpriced items and we will from now on price everything before shopping with them. We own rentals so saving money wherever you can is necessary these days.

I'm actually writing this review standing in front of the empty Pro Services counter in the store. Where 3 Home Depot employees visibly made eye contact with me and didn't day a word.The trip into the store found us not being able to find a lumber cart because they have their pick up and delivery orders using all their available carts. I had to search the store and could not find a cart. We ended up just taking their stuff off of a lumber cart and setting it on the floor in frustration.I own a company and use pro services at home depot all over the Florida Panhandle. This is by far the worst Home Depot I have ever visited. I'm posting pictures of the empty area as evidence of my displeasure.

I am very grateful to Vickie Jones for her assistance yesterday at the Home Depot Pro counter. As the Location Manager for That 1 Painter here in Tallahassee I am always in constant need of information and good people to support me. Went in to return 3 rugs I purchased online. The “old timer” return associate had an attitude with a fairly new return cashier and, in turn, me. Instead of being helpful to start she had an attitude. I won’t be coming back here for a long time!

The worst customer service of all the Home Depots that can exist, as a woman who owns a construction company, seeing men who do not even have the courage to help me, ignoring me on several occasions when we were loading multiple construction materials into my truck leaves a lot to say What to say, not even that I was asking for it for free, the laziest and most useless staff that such a nationally known store can have.

They are open early and close late. Really helps me get stuff done after or even before work. Garden is nice also here. I buy a lot of tools and all are lifetime warranty. Weekends are crowded but plenty of parking. I find Home Depot better than the competition. Their grill brands are great and they last a long time! Online pick service works very smooth and easy in the store. I order online and it is ready for pick up when I get there! Very friendly customer service and everyone is very helpful around the store.

Lucky Me... I was able to get the last truck available to move my daughter back into her college dorm and prepare for another successful semester. There was a bit of a wait, as only one associate was available, however, we were able to complete the transaction and head out to load and unload my daughter's property into her new dorm room. We kept the truck for approximately three same amount of time as the first and had another smooth return. I'm glad that Home Depot offer such services! Well be back at it in another 4/5 months!

Great atmosphere! Staff was friendly and helpful. Wide variety of products. Helped with everything I needed. I just moved to Florida and had to do a lot of small repairs to the home, so definitely needed the help!

Useless. I got a quote from them for flooring work, but they said they had to check if the material requested was in stock and that someone would call me back. Radio silence for a week, I've been calling and calling and calling and all I get is the service desk, flooring department never answers the phone. Quote expires in 2 days, so I guess Homeless Despot doesn't want my money. I'll take my business to someone who actually cares.

My fiancé & I bought a gallon of granite paint, the lid was not sealed(that we didn’t know)when purchased. It spilled all in our vehicle & on expensive equipment the store assistant manager “earl” would not let my fiancé finish explain himself and kept cutting him off to tell him “he couldn’t do much about the situation but send it to insurance”. After “we ask what could insurance do for us?” Earl sat there speechless. When it came to this point we just said we’re done with the establishment. That’s not even the half of it, the very nice young ladies at the customer service desk called Earl he proceeded to tell them to have us go to the paint desk the young man at the desk sent us back to the customer service desk so in the long run, it took Earl that long to come out the back and finally speak with us. All over that fact that one of worker doesn’t know how to put a lid on paint!

I called this store before coming across town to see if their saw was working. I get over there and have been waiting 20 minutes to get someone to cut it. One associate made three calls over the intercom and still no one came. This makes no sense. Now another associate says there’s no one here to cut it. Wow!! Bad business!!

At one time, Home Depot was my favorite place and always had a super friendly and knowledgeable staff.Now day they're like every other large store. However, my last experience was buying ship lap boarding and the guy in the yard went over and above to get a palette down. It's good the see people still take initiative.

Customer service overall is HORRIBLE. The majority of employees do not care at all and have no sense of customer service. Sat here to return something for 48minutes. Complete ridiculous. I know there are good employees here, I've delt with them and I appreciate them very much. The other 90% of the workforce needs to take a lesson.

Nice store. All the employees were super helpful and asked if I needed help when they passed.They cut wood for you for free which is super helpful. The local Lowe's machine is always broken so I'm glad HD worked. They cut my shelves perfectly for me.I also had my dog with me and so many workers asked to pet him which he loved which was great.

I love this home depot, I've came here multiple times and would give it 5 stars if my guy was there cutting my boards for me. I was there on 19feb2021 at 6pm. The guy working this shift marked the boards exactly on the number even after I mentioned the blade with was going to take a little bit off each board. See pictures below on how the cuts turned out. This guy needs to be retrained how to do it right.

What a joke! Bought a $7,000 riding lawnmower. It was close to impossible to control. Electric with a joystick. When I brought it back, everyone at the store was afraid to drive it. Two people said they had to drive one off of the truck and almost drive off of the ramp. Once I got it inside the door, they told me I had to wait for a manager to approve the return. I waited 45 minutes and still no manager. I then videoed my return and left. The next day, I called the corporate customer service number and they told me the return was being processed.Stay away from the Ryobi riding mowers with a joystick.

I used to love coming to shop here in the past year the incompetence at home depot is palpable. 4 hrs waiting to pick up an order that some how they just could find. Rented a truck, they couldn't find the keys so I had to go somewhere else. Appliances being delivered was rescheduled 4 times. Stay away from this home depot for you sanity!!

I just called 5 times about a Penske truck and kept getting hung up on and told they were tired of transferring my call, I finally spoke with the rental department and told rudely the pickup was being rented now, I tried to explain I was looking to rent a Penske truck and the white male kid told me he doesn’t have to talk to me and bye… he hung up the phone I called back to speak with (Linda store manager) and explained to her I didn’t respect that and it could cause verbal or physical harm to someone if that employee kept that type of behavior up with people, she told me to not come to the store anymore if I didn’t like how things were be handled @ (3200 capital circle NE Tallahassee fl). I contacted corporate, they were very professional and I hope they handle this, no one should have to be handled this way

No customer service any more! 2 weeks ago my 60 year old sister (all dressed for work) had to load 10 bags of mulch as there was no one available to assist her! The assistant in the garden area made several calls for help but management said no one was available. The manager could have responded! Crazy me went there after looking for a utility trailer…After pulling over to where they were being stored (with no protection) could not get any assistance either! I flagged down a young man driving a pallet jack in garden area and he told me he could not help me. He told me that I had to go to the commercial desk for assistance. I called the store and asked why the price on trailers said $1799 and online it said $1199. She said that is the price if I order online and if I buy in store it’s the store price! She said I can order online and pick up in store for the online price! What? A customer at store has to pay $600 more! I left to bring my business elsewhere. This is a large purchase and Home Depot does not deserve the sale. Not to mention the trailers were left out under trees and had debris inside and wood not in great shape.Very disappointed with the lack of customer service! It’s no wonder so many folks have turned to ordering things online.
