I tried PetSmart grooming for the first time after not being happy with a different grooming experience in Tallahassee. I read previous reviews and booked an appointment for my dog with Brittney. Both Brittney and the other workers listened to my requests/concerns and did a great job with Evie and making me feel appreciated. I plan on returning to this location. Thank you!

This establishment located on Apalachee isn’t business minded when it comes to the dog groomers. They were careless to let me know my fur baby had to wait after 48 before they could give her a simple bath. Instead, they made me an apt, waited until I drove across town to them just to “THEN ask me” when was she vaccinated? I told her a little over 24 hours ago. The lady then told me I will have to come back after 48 hours. I asked her why wasn’t this information presented to me over the phone? She then stated to me it’s because they can’t go over everything with the customers of what they can’t do, and that the customer have to inquire about it first “which makes no sense at all 🤔. I told her and the supervisor how it didn’t make any sense, and not everyone will know that just because they have a pet! I shared with the supervisor that they should at least let the customers know this info instead of making an apt for them to arrive, just to be told in person that your pet can’t be seen, when they could have simply stated this info over the phone. Stop assuming everyone automatically knows this info, especially when you don’t clarify the important things over the phone before making an appointment for the pet, and have the customers think all is well!Anywho… I made an apt with another pet groomer at a different business that same day for the next business day, and my fur baby was able to get the best bath of her life so far! Not only that, the groomer also asked me if my fur baby received her vaccines, and if so, on what date, without me asking! They never assumed I knew, and for that, they have a forever happy customer!!Pet Smart, you can learn a thing or two when it comes to the grooming Dept.

Very bad customer service. We came to test out water because we had bought a fish tank but since the beginning the lady didn’t seem to happy with my presence because after she tested out water we wanted to get fish and we told her but she just left us there for more than 30 minutes so we couldn’t get any fish. Maybe because I’m Latino since she was very helpful with all the winter fox there but not to me!

I’m typically not the one to leave negative comments because I understand mistakes happen and we’re all human. However my experience wasn’t the best at all. I took my dog here for the first time for a bath, haircut & nail filing. 1st of, I communicated the hair length I wanted my dog hair to be cut at and came back to him being nearly bald. 2nd, upon walking out the store I noticed my dog nails wasn’t cut or filed. I immediately turned around to inquire about why his nails wasn’t touched. “Emily” the stylist said she forgot and then rushed to file my dog nails in 5 seconds. 3rd, My dog was there for 5 plus hours which was way longer than they told me and nothing I ask for was done correctly. Either Emily need retraining or they’re selective on who they give the best service too.

If I could give no stars I would. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is due to some of the employees I have came across there. I bought a red fin shark from the petsmart on apalachee Pkwy last night 2/4/24 and when I got home I acclimated it to my tank. However when I woke up not only did that fish die but I noticed my other fish in there started acting weird. Now, before I had put that fish in my tank my fish were totally fine, they wouldn't even let their food hit the water good enough before they demolished it, but today I went to feed them and they wouldn't eat. Finally later on in the night I noticed all my fish died. Me and my children are heartbroken. I would not buy anymore fish from them. I have had my fish since before Christmas of last year with no issues and now one tainted fish from them wiped out my whole aquarium. Smh!!!!

Very helpful staff, the only place besides tractor supply maybe that carry bil jac dog food. Just about the only brand that our pup will eat. Makes sense because it's called picky no more 😅.

Ivy was great she made my boy very happy (he was very tired and cranky) she was very friendly and knowledgeable about Petsmart products. After she helped me to get a limited ingredient product for my dog, I was very impressed and I will definitely be returning

PetSmart has everything you need to take care of most household pets but I have to knock off a star because the way their in-store animals are treated is heartbreaking. None of their animals have anywhere near enough space, especially the beta fish :( Otherwise I love this store a lot

I love this location. I’ve been bringing my dog to the groomer there for year now, he’s been with Angelica for two years. I’ve enjoyed her customer service and she is very caring. She always treated me and Domino with respect, she will be missed ,she really loves him and he loves her too. Thank you for everything and wish you the best Angelica.

Took my dog, Sam, for a bath and nail trim today. The staff were so friendly and professional, we had a very positive experience. We also used this PetSmart for puppy training classes, which were wonderful!! Great opportunity to socialize your pup, while also teaching important, basic commands.

I left my dog BLUE at 12:15 snd at 12:25 they called me that he was "ready" He is an express dog but there is no way my dog was propely groomed in in 10 minutes. They left him smelling bad and his nails were still long. $60 went to waste .

So my husband and I and my baby Rocky 🐶 came down to Tallahassee for vacation and my baby Rocky eyes where very red like he has some type of infection. So the closest pet store that was from our Hotel was this PetSmart. So my husband and I went inside and right away I asked the employee that was at the cash register if she new where I could find some eye drops for my baby 🐶 she pointed me to the right direction and my husband and I started to look but there was so many to choose from didn’t even know what to choose but then out of no where the lovely register employee came to help me out and recommended one that she uses for her baby. Now hands down this was the best customer service ever I mean she was the only person at the register and to come over and help was just out of this world I mean if I can go back I would just give her a hug I wish I could remember her name but what I could remember from her was that she has been living in Tallahassee for about two years she is going to school and she is from West Palm Beach. This employee really deserves employee of the month the best customer service that I have ever received from other PetSmart.So after all this amazing customer service my husband wanted to get our baby Rocky get a haircut but now my husband is very picky and where we live down in Miami Florida we could never find the one person that would take there time and do a good job. So I told my husband let try someone here at PetSmart Grooming Salon and right away Emily Price took out baby and said that she was going to take good care of our baby 🐶. Then after like 2 hours WOW 🤩 Emily P. is amazing she truly took her time on our baby and for once my husband has never been happier to see how amazing he looked and he only wished that Emily P. Would only live in Miami she would truly be our Groomers. So if we are ever come down again to Tallahassee she would be our #1 groomer Thank you again Emily P. for making my baby 🐶 Rocky look like a super star.

2 months ago I took my dog to be groomed, bath & haircut with nail buffing. It was a wonderful experience. The groomer gave a sweet run down of my dogs experience too. We just had our 2nd visit, same services, this time different groomer. From the looks of the scratches on my legs & arms, it's safe to say it was a waist of money to pay extra for nail buffing this time.

They are always super friendly to me and my dogs, making us feel very important. When we shop there, we are always offered help finding something, and they take us right to it and find it with us. And my dogs are always given a treat on the way out. We are very pleased with PetSmart

Found exactly what I wanted within 3 minutes because the aisles are labeled phenomenally! The were folks there with their puppies so the employees were busy, but one found me and asked me if I needed help. Great service.

The associate that helped me was very helpful. Although they have a weird merchandising strategy, they put all the harnesses of every sized dog on one peg. Had I realized that I wouldn't have needed assistance. I also found it a little weird that a thinner leash was 6ft and a wider leash was only four. But they didn't offer the thin leash in a 4ft option, or the wider leash in the 6 ft option. But they have almost every color you can imagine for the pups. This one is a seafoam green, but of course I don't think my camera did the color justice lol. They also have flea and tick prevention, in a generic form that is very affordable. Definitely a great place to get pet supplies.
