My dog’s tongue was cut by Ashley the groomer. I was not called. He was kept in a cage for most of the day. When Ashley called me back she was unapologetic. I gave a 1 because the manager at least apologized profusely and did not charge.We had to take Beau to emergency vet as after and hour we got him home we looked and he was covered in blood.

My fiancé was refused service and sent away from an appointment we made after requesting they use a harness for our dog instead of a collar. He’s an older dog with throat issues, but very much still healthy and active. This was a very normal setup request that any other groomer happily accommodates.While I’m here, I have to point out that they are impossible to reach over the phone. I made several calls over 3 days to try to set up the appointment before I gave up and made the appointment online. Even though this could have been avoidable if I was able to speak with a representative.. they also make no mention of this “no harness” policy anywhere on their site and my fiancé had to mention our dogs throat issues before they said anything about it. If you care about the safety of your dog, don’t go here.Also, several in-store employees had their masks around their necks so if you care about your own well-being I would advise against going here either.

Awesome experience for our two Alaskan Malamutes--they love Sara and literally RUN into her salon and wait for her attention. They are 80 and 120 pounds respectively and she handles them as though they were balls of fluff. They go to see her every month and know where we are headed as soon as we turn the corner to turn into the parking lot.

My experience with Petco I've been coming to this particular location since the birth of my puppy where she received ALL of her first vaccines/ shots and numerous grooming. On one occasion we were NOT aware that our puppy had to have a rabies shot by a certain age and no one told made us aware prior to scheduling for her 2nd grooming experience... after driving from Quincy 45 minutes we were told by Ashley the groomer that our appointment had to be rescheduled and the grooming couldn't be done. I immediately asked to speak to a store manager and requested copies of Chanel's shot records and was told they're were having computer issues, and they had no other way to verify this info to verify if she had the rabies shot or not because we had just had All her shots done maybe 3 -4 weeks prior to this 2nd grooming. Well the manager did provide us with complimentary 2 grooming for how RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL the groomer (Ashley ) was. Unfortunately, I hating to think like this but every since this incident Ashley have been REFUSING to provide grooming for Chanel and stating she's VERY aggressive and we have drove 2 times from Quincy 45 minutes only to be told she can't be groomed because she's AGGRESSIVE 11 pounds Hayveanse. I again asked to speak to another manager (Quincy) who I spoke to and shared the previous CONFLICTS with Ashley and I only to be told he stands behind his groomer and they'll just REFER her out now how RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL is this coming from a manager. I asked if there were others groomer available cause apparently Ashley is still unsatisfied because I spoke to her manager once before about her UNSATISFACTORY customer service and he said does have one but she was too busy helping others customers and a REFERRAL would be best and make sure a muzzle be but on Chanel wherever we take her how CRUEL does this sounds... I'm leaving this review and DEFINITELY will be reaching out to Corporate and WILL NOT spend another dime here.
