The technician told me that the charge for the service that they came out and did would be $1200 but they charged my credit card almost $2400 and my wife signed for it after the technician lied to her and told her that I had agreed to it and he’d already talked with me.

It’s very dissapointed services.They didn’t give me notification. Just reported after they came. They didn’t come to inside the house for a year because we were absent….Cancelled in December 1 and they didn’t give me a credit for December and treated only outside.Dont use them. Wasting money

Really disappointed with my experience with Orkin. I was told that I was not eligible for a yearly contract because I rented, so I got the one-time service. The technician spent only a few minutes at my home, saying it was the easiest visit he'd ever had. There was no improvement, so within the 30 days, I asked for a retreatment, which was free. A different technician came out, spending a little more time. Still no improvement. I called Orkin to ask if I could possibly transfer to a yearly contract. The representative said someone would call me back. No one ever did. I am now working with Paul's, which is a much better experience.Service: Cockroach extermination

Technicians will show up when you aren’t home despite canceling and rescheduling the appointment (surprise they didn’t show up to this one either) and when you aren’t there they’ll just forge your signature. They have missed two appointments now and I have not seen them since February but their withdrawals are fast. I’m absolutely disgustedEdit: It took the manager 6 months to finally contact me despite calling their office multiple times. Manager did very little to actually resolve the issue but asked me if they sent another technician out if I would change my review. The previous technician who forged my signatures and would not show up to appointments also took it upon himself to call me and accuse me of lying. The technicians sent this time have been helpful but the professionalism and customer service from this branch of the company is laughable at best.Service: Cockroach extermination

Have had Orkin for roughly 30 years. They never were really effective on my asian roaches problem, but eventually my handyman solved that pretty well. On March 8, 2022, I received a call from Orkin in my voicemail: "Orkin. Account is overdue. Please call.". No name was given, although my prerecorded message clearly requests name and company. No number to call was given. The woman sounded like she was addressing her dog. So I called the local number listed on the caller ID, and was kept on wait for over 15 minutes by a robot. So I hung up and called another local Orkin number. After telling the representative that, if I got another rude call from Orkin, that would be it, I asked when the invoice in question had been send. February 18, 18 days before the call (including two weekends). So I leaved through my check transcripts starting at February 19, and there it was, the check to Orkin dated March 5, three days before the rude call. I send out checks as soon as I receive the invoice, so if the check was dated March 5, then I *received* the invoice March 5. (USPS is not so efficient as it used to be.) Then March 17, I received a letter from the local Orkin branch manager, telling me that my account was overdue 31 days or more. Apparently Orkin branch managers cannot count to 31, as the letter was *received* 29 days after the February 16 day of service. In addition, checking I found that the check had cleared my bank March 14, 26 days after the date of service (and 3 days before I received the letter). Like the call, I also considered the letter rude, in addition to inaccurate. Vendors do not tell me to do things "at my earliest convenience". In addition, a proper letter should have a date in the letter saying when the letter was written. Goodbye Orkin. Maybe if you had been a bit more efficient in pest control...Services: Rodent extermination, General pest inspection, Bug & insect extermination
