They were so knowledgeable and very good with my dog. She is very skittish of new people, and they handled her wonderfully!!! When my card would not work after my female had surgery that day, they allowed me to pay the balance of my bill the next morning. Most businesses would not do that. I was very grateful because I could not handle leaving my dog there overnight, after she had surgery. I want to thank them for all of their great care, and they're willingness to trust me and take my dog home that day. It is a great place for you to bring your fur babies. And I highly recommend them.

Having worked in the veterinary field, when I came to Tallahassee I thoroughly researched veterinary clinics. I then took my top choices and visited the clinics. North Florida Animal Hospital was hands down the best. I have trusted them with not only routine and emergency care and procedures of my numerous furry family members over the past 20 years but also with the tough decision to help my pets over the rainbow bridge. The veterinarians at North Florida Animal Hospital handle each and every patient with top-notch, individualized care.

My Great Dane had what I suspected to be an ear infection. Had no appointment available, however, they were kind enough to squeeze me in as a walk-in the next day. He was in terrible pain and did not want to have his ears messed with..at all. The staff was patient and kind and discovered a double earinfection.... it was a doozy. The staff went slow and easy whilst cleaning, treating and doing me a solid of trimming his nails. They took the time to explain all the medicines and how to administer each one that he would be on for the next several days... one by one. Questions were answered easily and confidently, all the while giving pets. It's always a clean and calm environment, with an always ever so patient and caring staff. Also, while checking out...they were clear with an itemized bill, I'm grateful for my daughter-in-law recommending this vet a few years ago.

Dr. Steele, my cats' veterinarian, was very good handling and examining my senior kitty, and gave her an injection which quickly made the paid from osteoarthritis in her hips dissipate. I feel I can trust this practice and doctor to give very good care to either of my two cats.

Dr Todd is amazing. Very informative and welcoming. My cats don’t enjoy vet visits but Dr. Todd is timely, thorough, and efficient. NFAH is always friendly and clean and reliable!

I have a new pup and this facility will be my pets healthcare facility. All of the staff was very friendly, courteous and patient - - as well as the veterinarian. He was great with answering all my questions as well as giving suggestions for a new pup. I’m bad with names; I’ll be sure to get theirs because they will be his healthcare providers ☺️

Friendly professional staff. There is genuine care and concern for the animals and their humans.When my old dog had an emergency, they were available . After an exam, I could afford ,they also assisted in helping find affordable medications .They also offer a multi-pet program that will prove very helpful

I am VERY particular about our fur baby care. I have never been uncomfortable leaving our pup with North Florida Animal Hospital. That peace of mind is great. We have used them repeatedly, and will continue to do so.

Thank you so much Dr Simmons and surgery staff! I was visiting from out of town, and my chihuahua had been throwing up daily for a month and I’ve been to several different vets and none have been able to successfully treat him except Dr Simmons! My fur baby was suffering for so long with the daily vomiting it felt like he was withering away. Dr Simmons and his staff were able to make time for us the same morning I called. Dr Simmons was very thorough and did a fantastic job with the surgery. I got my little man back to me the next day and I’m so happy he is back to good lhealth and enjoying life again. I’m very thankful to Dr Simmons and his team. They saved my chihuahuas life. Special thanks to Haley for taking the time to listen to my concerns and squeezing us in on a busy day, and also Jaymee for the updates and pictures while my baby boy was in your care.

PLEASE do not take your animals here unless you are rich and don’t mind having your money stolen from you. They tried to scam me twice which is probably my fault that I even went back the second time.They gave me an estimate of between $250 and $350 to have my dog spayed, depending on if she was in heat or not. When I picked her up the vet bill was $550. She was not in heat and there were no complications, so why was is it $200 more than you quoted me for? After a bit of pushback on the bill, they removed numerous unnecessary charges and brought it down a few hundred dollars.The second time, we brought our cat in because she had been vomiting and had loose stool. We brought in a fecal sample, as they requested, and they said they would sedate her, test the fecal sample, and do a physical exam of her stomach to make sure it didn’t feel abnormal. They called and said she’s perfectly fine and may just have a sensitive stomach. When we picked her up the bill was $850! Without asking for our approval they did 3 X-rays, 3 more fecal samples, tried charging us $40 for 6 cans of wet food, and $80 for anti-nausea medicine. There were definitely more unnecessary charges on there but I just don’t remember them at the moment. Then they acted like we were crazy for demanding they lower the bill since we did not approve of any of those charges.Awful vet clinic, don’t go there, they stink.

This place is fantastic. Very clean. The people are friendly and helpful. Price is fair. They speak with you honestly and explain any options, pricing and what would be best for your animal along with value of the options. They have a dog side and a cat side which is a fabulous idea There's only 2 things I think they could improve on. 1st is to have the employees be a little more diligent at keeping the dogs away from the cat side. (The cats are already stressed having strange dogs near doesn't improve the situation.) 2nd more seating on the cat side. The dog side has 3 times as much but every time I have been there's 3 times as many cats. Even with that I highly recommend.

We have used North Florida Animal Hospital for years now and are so pleased with their care!! However, today they went above and beyond. My pup had been vomiting for a few days and I took her in for an urgent care visit. I had a medical procedure yesterday and was unable to lead her in and out of the office, as she’s a strong dog and pulls bad on a leash. I asked if they could help and they gave us the royal treatment! Let us stay in the car until they had a room ready, let us come in a side entrance and the vet tech assisted bringing Scout in and out for me. She even checked me out from inside the room, so we wouldn’t have to go in the lobby. We’ve always had great care here and could not recommend North Florida Animal Hospital enough! Great care and amazing customer service!

We needed an ultrasound test for our 15 1/2 year old cat. She had been experiencing diarrhea, and our vet felt a mass of something she could not identify with her xrays. A friend advised me that North Florida Animal Hospital did ultrasounds, and obtained an appointment for us the very next morning. The test confirmed what my vet had thought, but also provided valuable information that showed that our cat's intestines were not impinged. Dr. Burkhead invited us to watch the procedure and explained everything he was doing. He and the whole staff, from those who greeted us at the desk to the very kind young woman who helped him, were very gracious. We are very grateful, and would recommend North Florida Animal Hospital for any pet medical need.

Dr. Fullerton and his staff are awesome. He removed a liposarcoma tumor from my dogs throat. My regular veterinarian was not comfortable doing the surgery. I live two hours away and will definitely be back. I have other pets that will benefit from an experienced surgeon with a great bedside manner. Now Jasper can lay down without a three pronged tumor being in the way.

They are kind, professional and good with animals, what else can you want from an animal hospital. Their pricing is relatively reasonably but a little on the high side. What makes the pricing feel reasonable is the professionalism and service you receive. I would recommend!

My mom’s dog passed and I had to find a place to have her pup cremated. North Florida animal hospital was the right choice. They were kind, considerate, and so very helpful. I’d recommend them for all of your pet care as I’ve taken my brother’s pup to the vet as well. Very nice place

My dog had an urgent medical need this morning and her doctor was out of town. I called North Florida Animal Hospital and they told me to bring her in, sharing they have walk-in hours during certain times each day. I was so pleased by the clean and spacious office/waiting area, the welcoming and courteous front desk staff, and most importantly the help from Zoe and Dr. Todd who took great care of my fur baby. Super happy with our experience at North Florida Animal Hospital. 🙂

The best vet clinic I have been so far - they always take great care of my 2 cats, separated entrances for cats and dogs are a great bonus. I had really good experience even when it was an emergency. Always explain everything and offer “paw” plans that were a pretty good savings deal.

I Can not say enough great things about NFAH! When I arrived for my (7:15 am so early) appointment, I was greeted by bright and cheerful staff. I only waited about 10 minutes in the waiting room before I was taken into a room (which was expected since I arrived early). I noticed that there was a chalk board in the lobby with a welcome sign for all the pets they would be seeing which I loved! Rich was my vet tech, and he was fantastic! Once I was all checked in, he left to go get the Doctor (dr. Fogler) and I only waited for about 5 minutes before they returned. While she talked to me, Rich was on the floor giving my dog a treat and lots of love. They did the exam, and my dog was calm the entire time. When it was shot time, my dog did jump a little, but Rich kept her calm. After that, they left the room to go get the results of the blood test they ran, my dog heard Rich’s voice in the hallway, and she ran to the door to wait for him. When they came back, dr fogler talked to me, and Rich was back on the floor with her. Once I was done with them, the girl came in to get my billing information, that was done in the same room so I never pulled out my card in the lobby. From the moment I walked in the door, I was welcomed, and my dog was well taken care of! Thank you so much for providing this amazing vet experience!
