I go out of my way to get my dogs groomed by the crew at Bloomingtails! They are accommodating to our schedules, listen to the pet owners and extremely experienced groomers. My Goldendoodle, Yorkie and Scottie loved their grooming visits. Whether you have a show dog or just a loved pet, you will not be disappointed with their attention to detail in making your fur baby look their best.

We love Bloomingtails, I can take my dog to them before eleven am and get his nailsTrimmed without an appt, so fast and they do such a great job for such a reasonable price. Also our dog has short nail beds and they do dremol which makes such a difference, not many places do dremol and it lasts so long. I highly recommend bloomingtails. Can’t wait to try their other services.

I'm not impressed at all with this grooming salon after a close friend and neighbor took her dog there for shampoo and nail trim recently. The cost estimate for his treatment was around $45 max; they stopped the grooming before he was even shampooed, called the pet owner and left a voicemail stating "Hey this is XXXX at Bloomingtails- we are having a problem with XXXX in the tub and he's definitely trying to bite us, so we are going to have to stop the Service and you'll need to come pick him up...'. They banned him from ever returning AND CHARGED MY FRIEND $60 for a Fully Incomplete service. -- how does a $45 groom get charged $60 for a service they didn't even begin, let alone attempt any methods to meditate his/the dogs anxiety??Many professional groomers use multiple methods for anxious dogs in their care, be it muzzle devices, calming aids like infusers with pheromones and positive reinforcement care when touching or talking to a pet. It sounds to me like multiple employees tried to control a dog that doesn't know them while he was in a bath instead of trying to calm the dog using actual methods they should've been performing with ALL pets.This dog is extremely sweet - I personally have an aggressive large dog that constantly barks and growls at him, yet he only wants to play despite her aggressiveness. In addition, he has never been aggressive with his own veterinarian, a place dogs aren't often relaxed in visiting.The fact that these supposed groomers did not try necessary methods with a dog that doesn't know them, and then stopped the service while demanding payment $15 above the service cost makes me absolutely sick.If y'all are incapable of interacting with all dogs in all scenarios, then you either shouldn't be in the business of grooming animals OR you shouldn't charge customers you cancel an incomplete service for. 'Trying to bite' is not BITTEN. And news flash, you're in the business of animals, so if you can't handle a dogs nature, then you're in the wrong work field. I'd love to hear how many cats y'all groom that are actually happy to have these services performed on them without trying to scratch you or bite you.I've recommended an actual reputable and compassionate Groomer to my friend at this point - not only for the financial transparency and dependability they offer but also the care they provide provider to the pets themselves.**RESPONSE TO BUSINESS: As I stated, THIS dog is not and has not been known to be aggressive. This behavior from him would've been as a result of fear, which leads me to believe that, as the behavior is not common with him, measures seem to not be performed to calm a dog that you did not know and did not care to attempt calming measures prior to treatment. The owner didn't send an aggressive animal to you because this is not the dogs nature.Please do not quote Florida law at me as if I'm unaware of such matters or presume that I'm insisting a dog which was actively trying to attack people should be disregarded - I've cared for horses, tigers, lions and wolves before so handling a small dog is not hard or some great science. Calling an owner and describing what's happening, asking if they have calming medications or the like IS NOT a ridiculous notion to believe a groomer to perform. That is not what happened in this case.Charging for a service that was not performed to the extent this customer was charged is ridiculous. If my doctor charged me for a full office visit that was cancelled instead of a minor $20 fee, I'd understand your point, but alas, I do not.Your lack of professionalism is shown throughout multiple other negative reviews in addition to the voicemail I heard about this visit and your response to my original review, so please do not try to act as though this is a one-off.Thank you for your time and attention - it's more illuminating than anything.

I always have a great experience at Bloomingtails! The staff is friendly and professional, and my babies are well cared for and groomed beautifully while there. Being specific about the cut and service you need (ear pluck, oil glands, etc.) or pet special needs (my standard poodle is terrified of the dryer, so they use a different dryer device on her) will always ensure a satisfactory experience. I had been going to a different groomer and my dog always seemed to be sick when he returned and his nails still remained too long, so I switched and Bloomingtails did an excellent job on my poodle. He looked like a different dog and had no side effects after leaving. I will not take my dog anywhere else. LOVE THIS PLACE AND SO DID MY DOG!!!

I have been taking my toy poodle here for over 2 years after a bad experience with one of the box store groomers. The staff is phenomenal and the grooming they provide is the best in Tallahassee. The staff truly care for each animal they service and they also offer text reminders about upcoming appointments and when your dog is ready which is wonderful. The staff are always pleasant and nice to deal with. I can’t recommend these lovely groomers enough, thank you for taking such wonderful care of my puppers!

This is a wonderful company to bring your fur babies to get groomed. We have a tough one that does not like to get his nails trimmed and a sweet one that LOVES going to the salon. Brandon and Stephanie (and other staff members) work very hard. It is very obvious they love and take pride in there business. We are grateful to have found Bloomingtails Pet Salon. Leaps and bounds the greatest grooming experience we've ever had with our standard goldendoodle. In less than half the time of other groomers we've been to, he looks at least twice as good. Bloomingtails took special care in communicating clearly and listening to our preferences for our sweet boy. When we picked him up, his behavior communicated to us that he had a positive experience. I was dropping off my dog and the big tall guy in there scared my dog and she didn't want to go and he was in a hurry and he wanted to pull her in the back... I don't know about you but I'm not going to let some stranger Pull my Princess into a back area them throw her in a cage. No thanks... To bad I really like the job the did on my baby, very expensive but good but that dude ruined it for me... Mess with my dog and MOMMA'S FANGS COME OUT. I walked out and will not go back.

Hands down the best groomer in Tallahassee! They always accommodate me on last minute appointments (because let’s be real...schedules are hard these days) and they always take the best care of our pets. I refer all of my dog friends here as they take all sizes. Toy Pomeranian, a crazy mut Blaze and our older husky! Blaze is always matted because of his hair type and they always ensure me not to worry. He walks out with an awesome attitude every time!!! 10/10 recommend stephanie and her husband. Happy we found them.

I’ve been taking my 2 dogs there now for about a year or more, they are always so friendly to me and my girls, my dogs go right in and get into there cage all by themselves, I get the best service and my girls always look wonderful and smell so good. They also accommodate my last minute appointment calls. They are hands down the best I’ve ever used. Brandon also helps me to the car with my girls, even in the rain..thanks for caring.

We have a 54 pound german Shepard and drove over a hr from perry to go here because of the reviews. I was not disappointed at all. By far best grooming session she has ever had and the staff was simply amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure she looked good and to help with her minor skin dandruff. I can tell you we will make the travel again to bring bring her back here. 10 out of 10 would reccomend.

I called after my dogs had gotten dirty at the park, in a rush, and they worked me in same day. Being that they are by appointment, I was so grateful. They offered a nail trim while being transparent about their prices and how long it would take. They were also very welcoming and kind to my very obnoxious pit bull type dogs who usually get frowned upon everywhere else. Couldn’t be more pleased w their services

Teddys Mom here! Bloomingtails is wonderful and has been grooming Teddy for over two years now. I've taken him to several other salons in town just to compare quality and service and must say, I have yet to find another salon that comes close! Making an appt is always easy, they even send text reminders days before the visit. The groomers are all very friendly and extremely knowledgable, I can tell they love what they do! A mini consultation is always the starting point of each visit which I really appreciate. That way I get to decide the type of service I'd like him to receive and also provide them updates about Teddys well being. As someone who loves her furbaby I can say with 100% confidence that your dog will receive the best of care and will always come home smelling good and looking dog show ready! Bloomingdales is the WORST place to take your dog for their grooming needs. They don’t give you a receipt but loved the tip. It is always dirty and has a terrible odor. They don’t do what is all listed for $75.00. It is a ripoff and be very careful going to this place. Stephanie the owner will act like she cares about you furry love one. She said negative stuff about my dog right in front of me. I would not recommend this place to nobody! They only do small dogs very well but not big digs. Terrible, Terrible ..............

I moved here in June and have a standard poodle who hasn't had a proper lambs for a lo g time. I'm used to calling the groomer a month in advance but these guys took us in 2 days and did a fantastic job! You have a grateful new customer.

Bloomingtails Pet Salon, in Tallahassee, FL is where I take my dog Sadie to get her haircut. Yes, the picture I have is of Sadie, and my wife and I got her from a rescue 7 years ago. She has high anxiety issues and is completely blind. The groomers at Bloomingtails, are experts in caring for dogs like sadie because it takes Sadie a long time to get oriented to her surroundings. The first time I picked her up from getting her haircut she had this relaxed look and I knew that the staff take really good care of her each and every time. They are exceptional in what they do and have that genuine love for animals that really makes the difference! Thank you Bloomingtails!

Love, love, love the staff at Bloomingtails! I pride myself in keeping up with my Goldendoodle's unruly coat which includes monthly trips to the groomer! Stephanie is always courteous and kind. She is also honest about what I need to do for up keep on my doodle in between grooming sessions. My pup leaves looking and smelling great! Plus he gets to play with Buddy the poodle while he is there which makes the visit a bit less stressful!

I had moved here from Atlanta Ga and really needed my dogs groomed. I took my Shitzhu and Miniature Schnauzer to this groomer. She was excellent. Great customer service. My furbabies came out just as I expected them to. The groomer also gave me great advice with treating my Miniature Schnauzer skin irritations. I'll forever take my dogs to this groomer as long as I'm residing in this area.
