This is the 1rst time I’ve ever been disappointed by anything from the bakery. My daughter picked up hoagie rolls & a carrot cake for Mother’s Day lunch. The rolls were super, the cake was a total disappointment. It was an imitation carrot cake. Like a poor quality boxed cake mix with man made carrot cake flavoring.Instead of a rich, moist, dense cake like it used to be, it was a fluffy, dry, barely there cake that had carrot cake flavoring. No substance, melt-away texture, & no nuts. However, the frosting still seemed fine.I’ve made many homemade carrot cakes & Publix was previously up to par with them. What happened?

This Publix is great like all the others in many ways, but I’d say compared to my experience when the one at Sterling Creek opened, the employees here aren’t as friendly or as well trained. I’m not sure what management is doing differently, but in most Publix I’ve been in feels like employees are happy to be there and always willing to assist. Here, they have seemed stressed, unsure and abrupt. I hope as time goes on and employees gain more knowledge and experience the atmosphere becomes more like that of all other Publix.

I walked in and stood in lane that read Western Union, there were 2 ladies already there, (in the middle lane. I was in the lane next to them.) already being taken care of. At the same time 2 employees of Publix are standing behind these 2 women. I didn't think anything of it at the time, ( maybe they don't work customer service. Cool...). That was not the case. As soon as a white man walked up to the counter both employees stopped their conversation and 1 employee took off to help him at the customer service counter. Yes I spoke up. I let her know I was before him. She opens her mouth and says I thought you were with them (meaning the 2 Ladies that were there Before me, the 2 employees 1were standing behind before I got there.) and went on helping the guy.... The Disrespect! speaking to the manager Bryant was no Help. He had NO clue what to do. I asked him to run the camera back to See for him self that I wasn't lying. He didn't. He said she probably didn't mean to. No Apologies from Not one employee. I'm done with Publix. prices already too high. Now disrespecting customers. Next! Oh I did start recording the incident. After reading the other reviews. I See This location has an issue with anyone that's Not of them.

My favorite location. Sad we're moving and will have to go to another location. Always clean and well stocked. employees are the best. always nice, friendly, and ready to help whenever needed. Always a wonderful shopping experience at this location.

The deli at this location is so unprofessional and RUDE. Not only that but also slow as hell, They also back there sweating beads off their heads while making sandwiches for customers. Someone needs to seriously weed out the deli employees because this isn’t the first time I’ve had a bad experience at this location. Looks like I’m also not the only person. When I spoke to a different worker to tell a manger about my experience, the worker apologized and I guess the manager didn’t want anything to do with it. Starting to think I’d have been better off at Walmart. DO BETTER.

Visit was Round 11am on a Saturday. Went to get a total of 4 meals. They had several people behind the counter. From what I could tell one person was being trained. The picture shows four of the six people that were working behind the counter and they were only helping One customer. Myself and my sister were standing in line behind this one customer. My sister stepped away was able to go around the corner and get chicken tenders bagged up come back and stand with me and wait another 15 minutes. By the time they helped us the line behind us was six people deep. I could not get over the fact that while they saw standing there nobody offered to help us. And they didn't even notice me taking a photo.

Rarely have baggers. Deli is slow. Not a smile on a cashier and they seem like they are doing shopper a favor. Shopped in Crystal River Publix the other day and it was a wonderful experience.

I go to this publix almost on a daily basis. I love the tenders. As much as I love them, I dread trying to buy them. The deli area that serves the tenders is a joke!!! There's people serving subs, and people slicing meats, but NO ONE serving tenders and hot food!!! Absolutely NO ONE!!! I get so mad every time!!!! Do something about this!!! It SUCKS!!!!!!!!

Deli is completely disgusting. Waited in line for 30 minutes to get ours subs when there was one customer in front of us. I work in the service industry and I’ve never seen human sloths like this before. Embarrassing and they switched food from sub to sub instead of grabbing untainted ingredients. Wiping their sweaty foreheads with their hands and touching food. Embarrassing. Not busy at all. Can only imagine how it is when it’s busy.

This Publix is always clean and usually very comfortable. During the colder months it can become crowded with the seasonal population. Selection, stock, ability to sit and eat a sub are all perks at this location.

The bakery dept is very good. However, they almost never have poppy seed kaiser rolls. At 9am on Sundays, they are sold out because they only make 4 of them. On 3/3/24 I called at 7:15am to reserve 2 poppy seed rolls & was told they didn't have any today. This is bad management.

The staff is amazing. Always friendly and helpful. They do not stock all of the products the bigger stores do but it is very convenient. The produce is very fresh and well stocked.

I am not one to usually post reviews but I had to with the deli at this Publix . The pub subs from this Publix is consistently poorly put together. If you go to the store, the service is slow as a turtle . It will take 40 minutes for a sub if there is one person in front of you. If you order online, you can bet that sub is not going to be the way you ordered it. It is almost like they just put whatever they want in there and forget the rest . Absolutely the worst place to get a pub sub! I got one at a Brandon Publix location and it was ordered online ! They did everything perfect! I am so disappointed in the service at the deli here . This is not a one time experience . I am leaving this review after consistently horrible subs. Please do better !

In sun city center there are theoretically two options within walking distance. As Win Dixie just may be the worst grocery store I've been in a long time. Publix is the only market. Very good produce section, and the rest of the market is fine.Note, I don't buy prepared food at grocery stores, so I can't comment on that.

I have been coming to this Publix location for groceries and prescriptions for 2 years. The staff is very willing to tell or show you where items can be found. I recently needed to use an electric cart. The first time driving the cart, they assigned a helpful gal to walk with me while I learned to navigate the aisles. This location is not as large as the nearest Publix on 301. Because of the size difference, some unique items aren't stocked at the SCC location, while they may found at a larger Publix.

It's a busy place , so figured okay they r out of mixed fried chicken but a whole hot case of chicken wings for twice the price ..come on people it's chicken one of the cheapest animals and meat to raise ...it's chicken!!!!

Very nice and full shelves. Employees are always friendly. Prices vary and it's worth using the app to use coupons or special offers. The biggest downside to this location is that the parking lot can be tricky, super busy at all times and most people aren't looking as they fly through to find a spot. Even though it's constantly busy there isn't much if a wait for checkout.

without fail the sandwiches i’ve ordered online have never been on time and this isn’t 10 minutes late this is 30 minutes late and when ur on a time crunch and order ahead so u specifically don’t have to wait and it’s still half an hour late is incredibly annoying.
