We took our Mini golden doodle Brody to Nature's Day Spa on Friday, March 1, 2024. We requested a Teddy Bear cut. His last grooming was in December his coat was overgrown. He is brushed almost daily, however he did have some matting on his legs.When we picked him up I was speechless! Thankfully I did not go in with my husband otherwise I would have blown my top and gave the groomer a piece of my mind!After getting him home and after further inspection of Brody, I could barely look at him. His coat was gone, his ears were bleeding, and you could see his skin . Brody's behavior was different and for two days he was rolled into a ball and licking his paws.The person did tell my husband that for Brody to get a "Teddy Bear Cut" he would have to be shaved.I do have pictures, but the website does not allow me to post them. Needless to say we will not be bring Brody back to this establishment.

I have been taking my dog there for a while. After scheduling an appointment two month in advanced, for 9:00 AM, got there and they told me that I didn't have one. Show my card at the woman at the front desk and she didn't even care, Keep saying I didn't have one. She give me an option to leave my dog with not warranties when she was going to finished, that maybe my dog will be there until 8:00 PM. Unacceptable !!!!.If that is the way they treat their customers make me wonder how my pet have been treat it.

I’ve never written a review before but this is one time I can’t ignore. If I could post pictures of Dixie’s haircut, I would. I have taken her to this business for over a year now. Although there have been times I was not 100% happy, I kept giving them another chance. Today was one of those days that I said, “enough is enough”. When I approached the groomer about perhaps blending the hair from the side of her head to where hair at her ears begin to get longer she did not offer. Dixie has big drop off gashes between the side of her head and where her ears begin. They are so bad that even raw red skin is showing in places. Groomer said, I thought this is what you wanted and I told her this has never happened before. Absolutely no attempt to make it right. I just picked up my things and told them to cancel the next appointment and walked out the door. Very poor customer service!

I’ve taken my pet to this location twice before his last visit for grooming and a bath. This last time I took him he came home smelling almost the same way he went. I was told he might’ve urinated in the kennel and sat in it causing him to still smell. NEVER would I take my puppy to this place ever again. How is it okay to charge someone $70 for a bath for your pet to then sit in urine while under their care and come home smelling like that? Might as well take your pets to a chain store like pet smart if they’re going to treat them this way.

Amazing is all I can think of!! Making an appointment and checking in was fast and pleasant! The place smelled delicious and unlike all the other dog groomers I’ve been to. I liked the openness of the salon and the groomers were easy to see and speak with. Maria did my mom’s shitzu and when I say that girl came back with a $100 haircut… I mean it! We asked for a wash and trim but we got a supermodel back!! Maria was sweet and patient and Muffy came out happy and calm. I think the name fits because it felt more like a spa day for both Muffy and I than anything else!Thanks for a beautiful job.. we’ll see you soon!

I brought my Shih-tzu pup here for a full groom. She looks absolutely adorable like a little fluffy cute bear! I love the cut. I can finally see her eyes!

Relocated to this area first time taking my two cockerspaniels for grooming. I am extremely pleased my babies looked gorgeous. The prices are reasonable and the staff are professional and do a great job. The staff is helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend Natures Pet Day Spa in Summerfield.

I have a French Briard with a hard to manage coat. I’ve been now going to this groomer for around a year and it has been a breeze dropping him off and picking him up. Best prices, best service, friendly staff, and most importantly my baby boy loves them. He comes out every time looking like a million dollars without the hefty price. If you are local or even if you are in Central FL, and you need a great groomer who is reliable go to this establishment.

This place saved us. My dog is 16, and has always had teeth issues. Over the years, he became increasingly hard to deal with bc he would not let anyone near his face. We’ve been through so many groomers, I was truly starting to lose hope. My little guy is a shitzhu, so grooming and cuts are extremely important. With the help of patience, and EXCELLENT customer service, medication and Ronnie? It’s a miracle! Truly. YEARS of stress, gone! I will never have one bad word to say about Nature’s Pet Spa. They have my loyal devotion and gratitude for the rest of his little life. Thank you guys. Xo

I found this business by googling groomers near me and I read the reviews and I thought wow somebody actually travels 200 miles every time to get their dog groomed that's a plus I will go here. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted by Lisa. She was fantastic friendly and loves her job. When you make an appointment you always want to ask for Lisa. She is the best. We have a malshi. Lisa did an exceptional fantastic job on our precious dog. Best work ever that I've ever seen in my entire lifetime. Professional they take care of the dog they make the dog feel safe and at home. Why would you choose to go anywhere else The Price is Right it's not a ripoff Lisa sure does take pride in her work. Why would you go anywhere else after reading this review please give this place a try and tell them I recommended it like I said please ask for Lisa when booking your appointment. My mom was thrilled with the outcome. Lisa loved our dog's face p

Bad, bad, bad! Keep our 14 yr old Yorkie in a crate 4 hrs before even starting on her so they could take care of their friends first. And, we had an appointment! Finally after 5 hrs got her back, no water or potty break all that time. And, instead of an apology, just excuses. Ronnie, you really disappointed us and as such we will never come back. Too many good groomers in the area that will get our baby back in 2 hrs or less.

Customer service on phone is horrible!I adopted a dog who’s owner had passed away. I had called about 4 months ago and explained everything to the lady who answered phone. They didn’t know who I was talking about and so sent a picture. The dog I adopted is blind so shouldn’t be to hard to remember a blind dog that the company had worked on for years. Even after sending picture they didn’t know the dog. Got in touch with deceased owners sister and got all the info. Called back today (yes 4 months later as alot going on in life) and gave info again when asking what cost would be they said they didn’t know as they don’t have her records, yet dog was groomed there less than a year ago. Made appt and then called back to see if they had another appt was gonna bring my other pup there. After talking to the lady a few times on the phone I decided not to take the blind dog as when I was talking to the lady on the phone she seemed like she was impatient with my questions and it was a bother to 1. Be talking to me and 2. To help me and finally not to have any records on a dog who has been there numerous times. Was not pleased. So I called the Dog House in Belleview and spoke with Jenn the owner and who I have been using for 10 years plus for my other dog and she was very kind especially when I explained that new dog was blind. Made appt for both dogs. Oh and since the person on the phone at this place was in such a hurry to hang up and not take the time to really listen or find out the info I was requesting then I was to much in a hurry to call back and cancel the original appt for today. Too bad cuz you lost a dog you worked on in the past, lost a new client who was gonna bring in her own dog and now the Dog House kept a client and even has a new dog to service.

I have been using nature's Pet for years. Recently I was unable to get an appointment and so I went elsewhere and believe me I will never do that again. After going somewhere else I truly appreciate everything that nature's Pet groomer still they are wonderful.

Took our dog for the first time here and boy do they do a fantastic job! I was so pleased with the grooming and seen some of the other pets they were doing and it was so professional. If you need your dog groomed take them there you won't be disappointed.

Always have great results at Summerfield Natures Day Spa regardless of groomer. However, my Cisco loves Dez! Dez always treats Cisco with great kindness. Cisco's grooming yesterday, really accentuated his face!I can tell Dez really cares for him and is very patient with him! Amazing job!Both dogs I have taken there had heart issues. Very, very considerate of those issues and do not stress them out in the least.

We travel more than 200 miles round trip to have our dogs groomed by the best of the best. Yes, there are groomers closer to us but none can compare to the professionalism, friendliness, love of what they do, and attention to detail than Nature's Pet Day Spa. The groomers are highly trained and take excellent care of our dogs. We highly recommend Nature's Pet Day Spa.

I want to thank you for the services you provided Canoli and I. I lost my Canoli January the 2nd of this year. I have used Nature's Pet since I moved here in 2015. The staff is very friendly and caring. They always made his appointment so that it wouldn't interfere with his medication. Canoli was diabetic and they were aware of his condition. They were gentle and understanding. I would and have recommended their services.Thank you again.

FIVE hours to groom my little guy! That sounds like overbooking to me. This place needs time management training. Poor guy has to sit in a cage for hours. So unfair. No more. Woof.

I am from avon indiana we come down 3-4 times a year to visit my grandma and I bring my 2 little dogs with me every time just to bring them here. I don't feel like my puppies r safe or enjoying all the stuff At other spas peenutt freaks out when I leave him anywhere else and now I have 3-4lb min/chi to join him.. Called to have my pit bulls nails clipped and was told they will not cut them due to insurance. How sad! Stop singling out pit bulls! Your insurance company should be more worried about a chihuahua than a pit!! Lost my business!
