This is for the VETCO Total Care. The entire staff is awesome! We brought our dog in with a terrible case of the itchies. Nonstop scratching and bleeding skin. After skin and blood tests were performed, they told us that she had an ear infection in both ears and that her skin was badly inflamed. They took such good care of her (and us)! We felt that they really listened to our concerns. Recomendatios regarding bathing frequency and shampoo types were discussed, as well as administering the antibiotic ear medicine. They told us that they would call us with her lab results on Saturday. The DOCTOR called us on Saturday at 10 am. This was the best vet experience that we have had. Prices are reasonable too!

I just saw Nicky pulling on a dogs leg, pulling on its tail. Yelling it to stop while she was doing her grooming. It was very disturbing and I left there upset.. the cashier said that she was a great groomer and people requested her. Maybe she does a good job grooming but if I ever saw her pull on my dogs tail or grab my dog by the leg like she did the puppy that was in there I would have have a serious word with her. She might do a good haircut but she’s not treating the animals bery nice while she’s doing it! I could see her keep yelling stop to the dog who is literally doing nothing but standing there again very disturbing watch out for Nikki, grooming, your dog.And doesn’t she know that people can see her!!!It was a sweet little white and gray doggie getting groomed today at 2:15!

Store associate walked away from me so she can have a private conversation on her cell phone. Then she disappeared somewhere. I guess an associate manager came up to me and asked what was going on but did little to help me. I called corporate and was told that a manager will email me but have not heard from anyone.

We have been coming to this location for 2 years with our American Stafford and the employees have always been great but one stands out about the rest. Gerard one of the managers always goes out of his way to help us with products and nutritional information for our puppy. He is definitely an asset yourCompany and for this reason we continue to shop at this location.

I’ve been a faithful patron of Petco for many years, mostly because as my fur baby’s grow and start aging, their nutritional values change as well. I started reading about the MANY different dog foods, some that my own dog was fed, out of ignorance, and I was appalled, and honestly, I felt terrible that I’ve had several pets in my life and I had fed them what was popular at the time, from the grocery store. I rescued a beautiful boy and he needed a well rounded, nutritionally sound diet containing appropriate nutrients, digestive and immune system, a long with probiotics that are so important for colon health. The staff at the Stuart store are awesome. I told Jessica of my concerns and after patiently listening to me, she said, follow me. She went directly to a food that “fit the bill” entirely, and then explained the breakdown of nutrients and how they effect and maintain optimum support for dogs in all phases of their lives. Their nutritional needs change as the get older, and some of the diet nutrition exceeds with age, and some decline. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The choice I ended up buying was accepted and devoured by my pup. Great news. Within a month, his psoriasis was gone. We fought that itchy, flaky, miserable condition for years with lotions and potions, the vet prescribed a steroid a few times and it worked, but Buddy is 15 yrs old and at this age, steroids are kind of hard on his system. You can imagine my surprise (DELIGHT) when I started seeing a difference within the first week. Petco has a wonderful selection of everything, dogs, cats, salt and fresh water fish and aquariums, birds, ferrets, snakes and other reptiles. . . . Snake and reptile aisle is avoided at all cost for me. They’ve also got a grooming shop at the store and I’ve been very happy with their services and cuts. Dog training is also available and every Saturday the humane society brings in several kitties to be adopted, not sure about dogs. If you haven’t had the PETCO experience, you must drop by and take a look. Any questions, someone is close by to help. You’ll see what I’m talking about.

Not a bad pet store, they have a decent selection of toys and animals and food for all of your pets needs, the staff was very friendly and ready to help every time I turn the corner and their prices were fairly competitive with the other major names. Security in the parking lot was nice there are restaurants nearby if you're hungry easy access for entrance and exit and overall it was a good visit and I will probably return

I love this Petco. They groom my dog and are so wonderful. Kate always takes such good care of my pup! Her nails hurt when she jumps up and they get filed down short enough that i dont get scratched. She comes back with a cute bandana sometimes and gets so many compliments.

The fish tanks are loaded with dead or dying fish and their bettas which most are dying are kept in small cups, aquatic plants are dying, the management should be ashamed of the poor conditions at this location

The person who was by the fish section initially was helping another patron so what I assumed to be a lead stepped in and kept me pick out my fish and snail to start my new aquarium I was looking for feeder fish but they were not in stock and was referred to the guppie

This was the first time taking my dog there for grooming. I could tell when we picked him up that his visit was awesome. He was very relaxed and happy. Kate did a great job on his nail trim. Will definitely take him back again!

My wife and I are very disappointed with the unprofessional and attitude, provided in the grooming section. The associate Kate came and said by appointment only in a rude way, I advised walk-ins welcome then she said had to wait 3 hours. We asked for the manager Jessica to advised of the way we were treated and that it wasn't the first time, at which point she didn't apologize and instead just said thanks for the feedback. Needless is to say it's the last time we're going to this store. Again very disappointed..

I was declined to have my 5lb toy min pin for bath and nail trim because she has spinal meningitis. She got this at birth and at no way is this contagious! This location needs to educate its staff. A simple google search would teach them this! Is spinal meningitis in dogs contagious to other dogs?Thankfully, not only is meningitis a rare condition, but it is also not contagious. This means you do not have to worry about a dog passing this onto your pup or your pup passing it onto another.

My usual pet store is out of large bottles of hip flex hip and joint supplements. I decided to give this store a chance and after comparing prices and ingredients decided to give a new product a try as the price was $7 cheaper than the list price on Amazon.Once I got to the register the price risk came to $45 rather than the $28.99 price tag below the product. Gerard refused to change the price saying the difference was too and trying to say that because in ultra tiny print apparently it says 60ct rather than 120ct. There was no other price sticker there, I was almost misled into purchasing a product at a price that's $8 higher than it's actual worth and obviously customer satisfaction isn't worth $16 to the management. I'll never return to this store for as long as I live in Stuart. Thanks for wasting my time.

We were surprised to find at the Petco on the Federal Highway a tank with several baby pythons. Here in Florida many end up released, often going to the Everglades, where they are not native to the habitat. In fact there is a major effort to find them. Why is a store like Petco allowed to stock and sell them? This is a good reason to avoid Petco until they show corporate responsibility.

Had brought in my puppy for mail trim & buff. As soon as my pup came out her nails were still SHARP! I asked to get them again as still sharp, she said she’d try but the puppy wasn’t staying still? That was when I wondered if she worked their? Hello it’s a puppy ? It’s going to move around it’s your job to clip nails right? This is what I thought, came back out we got home and I could still get cut up by her nails! Waste of money don’t go here they can’t cut & certainly DONT BUFF OUT EITHER!

I asked one of their employees if they by chance had any of the natural essential oil flea collars, as I had purchased it there before. The gentleman brought me to their non-natural collars, and I again asked for the natural one, the gentleman pretty much told me that it doesn't work and the $80.00 one is the one that works. I advised him that I purchased it at their store before and it worked for my cat, and he said, no, it really doesn't work. His attitude was very dismissive. I was very put out and left that day without purchasing. I did go back a few weeks later, and found the product I was looking for. And hey, No more fleas!
