Incredibly insightful, helpful staff all around. Lots of choices in toys, perches, and food. Very clean throughout. While I was waiting for breeding season to get my little girl, a Quaker, they allowed me to volunteer in socializing their babies and taught me a lot along the way. I have since moved out of state and will be ordering my supplies and food through them because of the level of trust they have built with me. I only wish them luck in being able to expand to a larger location so they can do exactly what they do on a larger scale. Looking through the few negative reviews on here I can only assume those people mistook Birds on Safari for another company because my experiences with them have been nothing short of spectacular and what should be expected from all exotic bird shops. They set the standard.

Love this place. My daughter wanted a bird and wasn’t sure what type would be a good fit. The store was super busy when we went. The owner and another pretty blond lady greeted us when we came in. They seemed busy but I said when they had a minute we had questions. The blond lady came right to us. Spent over 2 hours with us. Spend the time answer questions and was very knowledgeable. We took out different breeds. Recommending what breed is a better first time bird owner, and what wasn’t. We finally found our perfect bird. She also went over cages, toys and any other items that would be needed! My daughter was comfortable with him and he took a liking to her right away. The only weak area of the store is the younger staff. I agree with a previous post. I called 2 different times to ask a question(since I live 45 mins away) got 2 different young staff. They are not good over the phone. I gave my name and number, that she read back wrong multiple times. Said owner wasn’t there the first time I call, asked for a call back never got it. (Probably because my name and number was wrong, I don’t think they wrote it down) The second time I was told she was busy and couldn’t come to the phone. Ended up driving there…One helped at the counter while I was there and she acted like I was bothering her. But over all the store is great. The owner is great. I will definitely be going there for my birds needs!

The Owner Dana has been taking care of my conure Neo when I'm away for over 10 years. She is experienced, knowledgeable and always does a great job grooming for a fair price. I would definitely recommend her to anyone with a bird.

What a wonderful and knowledgeable place to come get your parrot taken care of. They also have very fresh food and some great toys. The best part is the owner is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

Wonderful store with amazing staff. I called around looking for a moustached parakeet after another store had an incident with the baby i had a deposit on. Birds on safari had a couple available and i was so excited because it's hard to find moustached parakeets. I coordinated with the staff and made my way to the store a few days later to bring her home. She's a beautiful healthy baby who eats fresh food/chop like crazy. She was already able to step up and has the best demeanor. You can definitely see the love, care, and attention she was given while being hand raised. I would highly highly recommend purchasing from this store.

This was our first time visiting Birds on Safari and we found our sweetest new family member! We had an amazing experience here! I have owned birds when I was a child and Our son has been asking for a bird for years now! Upon strolling in we were greeted by the store owners cat and the sound of birds chirping and squeaking! The store has an amazing variety of birds and staff and owner are beyond knowledgeable about each species. The owner and staff were so patient with my 8 year old son who asked thousands of questions. They answered every last one! We left with our new best friend who has many namesGiven bobo Dolly Cimo. Everyone felt the need to name her or him (we aren’t sure yet)Thank you all at exotic birds!We can’t wait to come back and visit soon!

Very great place to get a new feathered friend. We purchased a cockatiel for our daughters and the bird has quickly become a part of the family. The birds are healthy and well cared for. The employees and owner are all very helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend checking this place out before going to one of the big name places. Great birds and great selection of supplies for birds.

I either had to bostd my African grey for a week or ask Dana at birds on safari to give my bird shots for 7 days. I asked and she sweetly said yes. She has given my grey shots faily and teaching me how to do this without adking for a cent. They teally vare anout all birds. Dana has also groomed him in the past and os wonderful with birds

When I visit the Stuart location for business, I always stop in to visit the birds. The staff is always welcoming and I LOVE seeing the birds. What a mixture of personalities. It makes me so want to own one. The store is well kept and if I lived near here. This is where I would buy my bird.

Burned badly by "Bills Birds," I brought their viscious Emerald toucanette here for help. Polar opposite!! Loving family, loving birds...even resident dog here loved the avions! Was cuddling Aracari baby boy, & owner said if I enjoyed him, wait till I meet his sister! ToukieLuana is the snuggliest, most affectionate, funny & curious angel I could have been Blessed with!! I own birds so know how much they take to clean up after. This store impressed me so much for it's cleanliness. The employees are on top of their game and the selection of birds, from baby parrots to finches, are broad. They were very knowledgeable and friendly.

Love this place. The owner is fantastic and very knowledgeable. We took our African grey to her to get his wings and beak trimmed. She did a great job. We also used her DNA service to find out our birds sex. We buy our food there as well and they have been great about adjusting the mix to please my picky bird lol. They have TONS of birds to see as well and lotss of toys for purchase.

We are from out of town and knew we weren’t going to bring home another feathered friend on this visit. That being said, we had a lot of questions about getting a bigger bird; the staff happily and eagerly answered our questions when they could have just let us wander around the store. They were more friendly than they had to be and we really appreciated that. We would return in a heartbeat!
