Centrally located to what we needed. Super convenient dock/ boat lift service across the street(and ridiculously cheap for the convenience). Room was tasteful, clean and nostalgic. This is our new go-to place. Don’t come here with your big city uppity taste. This is a true treasure that should be respected for the gem it is and not be expected to be anything it isn’t. Anyone who could possibly leave a bad review doesn’t deserve to enjoy an area or accommodation such as this.

Very nice staff, very clean room. Love the burn pit with the swing and benches. Even has a dog pen to let your dogs run around in. Aldo has boat slips. You can see how the pool area is light up blue in the pics very pretty. Will definitely be coming back and bringing the boatRooms: Very clean. In our roon the bedroom was separate from the living room with a TV in both.

It's sad Steinhatchee suffers so much from the destruction of Hurricane Ian. The hotel is higher than average based on hotel standards for the area. Everything works, just dated. Glad to find a place when many hotels are shutdown.Please click "like" if you appreciate the information.

I stayed here the weekend of Nov 11th. It was one of the best stays we had in Steinhatchee. The rooms bring a comfort of home feeling. Its also located in the middle of everything good in Steinhatchee.Rooms: Comfortable and cleanNearby activities: Food and funWalkability: Many popular locations are within walking distance.

I loved this place! First time going with my husband and the staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, a little cosmetic damage here and there, but nothing to make your trip bad (unless you expect perfection). I loved that there is a sitting room when you walk in with a medium size fridge and a microwave. They could put a little shelve to put your snacks and paper plates, but I just put mine on the table. The shower had great pressure, but a large showerhead, so it didn't hurt your sunburn. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The grounds had cute decorations, the pool was warm and clean, there was a fire pit area and a picnic area. The marina was across the street and the staff was very friendly there too.

We had a wonderful week at River Inn!! The owners are on site, Barb and Rob and make you feel at home. So friendly and personable as well as the staff. Every day our room was tidied up with made beds and fresh towels and even our cups were washed one day!! The pool is nice and kept up very well. The marina is great and so are their Muffins! Having a little bar/food area was a plus. Went out with My Buddy fishing charter (highly recommended) and caught our limit! Great, clean, fun stay. We have been here on two occasions and will return. You can’t go wrong with the River Inn Marina. 😁. You will be happy you stayed.

We will definitely be staying here again! From the confirmation phone call asking if we knew when we would be checking in to the friendly greeting we received from our host who walked with me to complete my check-in. Our room was AWESOME! Our room was already for us with the heat being turned on bed turned down. She even recommended several good places to eat. At check the host that morning was just as friendly she said good morning as she walked to the office with me to checkout. She even wished us safe travels. AWESOME PLACE AWESOME STAFF!!!

What a perfect, peaceful family getaway. This was our second trip and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more. The rooms are large and very comfortable, every member of the staff was friendly, marina was awesome (try the mimosas!) and it was perfect for our family! We had a lovely canoe trip one day and took a fishing charter the next. When I asked my kids what I should say on my review my 9 year old said, “This place is the best! We love it!”

The rooms were nice and clean and comfortable. The staff were absolutely amazing. The pool was very clean and refreshing. I gave the place four stars for sure. I only have one complaint/suggestion. I would hope that the owner and/or the staff would please replace the old tattered American flag out by the swimming pool. It deserves to be replaced. That one looks like it’s done its job and time to retire it. It was all crinkled up and old and gnarly looking. Time for a brand new fresh flag we can all enjoy. Thanks guys for a great time!

We booked a 1 night stay and were quite happy with our room. The location was perfect and we had great access to our room being able to drive to the front of it. Hotel staff was very friendly. Wifi was not too strong but overall a very good experience.Rooms: The room was neat and clean.Nearby activities: We were in Steinhatchee for a cycling event and were pleased with the location. There were restaurants nearby. Would like to look into boating activities in the area in the future.Walkability: We were close enough to walk to a nearby restaurant with little to no traffic.

I went with my sister and we stay at the private cottage on the river and its such a nice room there is and enclosed porch overlooking the river and marina. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and super hospitable. They have a swimming pool, Maria and great gifts hope shop. And best of all dogs friendly. This is the perfect getaway for families. I would definitely come back again.

I can’t say enough about this place. A couple years back I rented their cottage for a week. The owners are very involved and care about you and your stay. The cottage was very clean and you can walk right out the back door on to your boat.This week I had an issue with my own boat which was a vacation ender, but the owners came thru again and got me in one of their boats to use the rest of the week. I can’t thank them enough. Matt, who makes it all happen, your awesome man! I can’t wait to return. Thank you all!!!

When we checked in the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was immaculate and the pool area was clean and well maintained. Many of the guests were repeat customers with kids who were all on their best behavior. It was like a big family reunion. The staff was continually checking on us to make sure we were comfortable. This was out our first visit to Steinhatchee and we plan on returning and staying here again.

Recently took my daughter and two granddaughters to the Steinhatchee River Inn. The suite was very clean and comfortable and the AC was nice and cold. The pool area was fenced and had a very tropical feel and we enjoyed a nice swim. The staff was friendly, accommodating and extremely helpful. I definitely recommend this as a fun, safe, family friendly place to stay in Steinhatchee. Thanks Barb.

Great, affordable place to stay. They have wet slips available and it’s a short ride down the river to prime scalloping. The pool after you get in off the water is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and we love it there.

Most of the time I see a motel as a means to an end. In this case, the place is so unique and fun to visit, its more like staying at a friend's really big house with lots of rooms. The accommodations are clean and spacious and home-like. The kitchenette allowed us to cook for our whole family (5 kids). We also enjoyed the outdoor picnic area and the pool. Our second day in Steinhatchee we rented a boat and and enjoyed hours out on the water. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place. The service is friendly and fantastic!

This was the second time that we stayed at the River Inn. The room was immaculate, cheerful and the bed extremely comfortable. The owners Rob and Barb Lewis and the entire staff were so cordial and attended to our every need. They booked us on an all day charter with Captain Buddy Moorman. The weather was somewhat threatening but Captain Buddy got us on the fish. His perseverance and fishing prowess coupled with excellent accomodations made this a most memorableexperience. Fantastic stay! Located directly across from the water and very convenient to everything. We had two separate rooms and both were spotless and very comfortable. It was quiet, and peaceful, but the was plenty on site to do. They have a fire pit, pool, outdoor swings to sit and watch the fire, BBQ grills, picnic tables and thats without even crossing the street to the marina! The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. I have seen some reviews about rooms being dated or in need of renovation. The rooms are wonderful and small town quaint. Which is what Steinhatchee is. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay this is it! If you are looking for the Hilton, keep driving to Tampa or Tallahassee, this town is not for you. We however, will definitely be back!

My sister and I love to come to the Steinhatchee River Inn a few times a year to just get away and unwind. It's truly a great gem! The owners and staff are friendly, knowledgeable and customer service is top notch.They are hard working and want the best experience possible for their guests.I highly recommend this as it's a fun, safe place to stay in Steinhatchee. With its expanded property and marina just across the street- it's the best place for all your vacation needs.We love to hang out by the relaxing pool in the morning to get some sun.The fire pit area is great. There is also a picnic and grill area. Plenty of parking and rooms to accommodate many party sizes.

We called about 8:00 looking for a room on a Friday night. Barb answered and she was as gracious and hospitable as she could be. She booked our room and gave us directions on how to get in. The suite was just what we needed. Two very comfortable beds, good A/C, and TV. Good shower the next morning, and we met Robin, who was just as friendly and hospitable as Barb. We went on to Tampa to watch a Rays game, and it was great, but I believe we would have been better served staying the weekend at Steinhatchee River Inn. We'll be back!
