Beautiful Southern coastal, family friendly, and safe resort(more like a charming little city). There are plenty of activities to do while here. Neat paths and walkways(mostly lit) to explore and walk on throughout the entire area. Fishing, kayaking, canoeing, non-heated pool, shuffleboard, sauna, hot tub, basketball court, volleyball court, badminton, ping pong, playground, bicycling, golf carting, dog park, etc. They have plenty of nature viewing areas, whether it be a bench, chair, swing, or picnic tables. They even have a petting zoo with sweet goats, ducks, and rabbits. The stunning views along the Steinhatchee River are picturesque. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Cabins/homes and the church were beautiful. Groundskeepers do a great job keeping everything picked up and clean.*Fun fact: Former President Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Carter even vacationed here in 1994.Nearby activities: Close to everything. Great location.

This place is one of the very best places to stay in Steinhatchee,FL. The cottages or cabins each have their own unique look all victorian built. From the smallest of group sizes to the largest , I am sure they can accommodate your needs. It's beautiful enough for honeymooners and safe enough to bring your family. They have a beautiful variety of landscapes ,access to Steinhatchee river ,a cute little farm site where you'll see some cute dwarf goats and bunny rabbits. You have access to a swimming pool as well as ,a beautiful stained glass chapel that would make a beautiful wedding ceremony for anyone looking for a venue. It's really like a beautifully landscaped victorian village that will leave any visitor glad they came.

We got married here 18 years ago. Our 16 year old daughter wanted to see it up close vs pictures. Looks better than it did then with lots of growth in the area. It is in the middle of nowhere - but that makes the place all the more special.

Got to stay in one of the honeymoon cabins and was not disappointed! The room was set up in a cozy setting with a warm fire going when we arrived. The bathroom was big and the tub was even bigger, finally got to relax and enjoy time with my family! Our stay was very peaceful, no complaints!! The staff was over accommodating when we left our favorite stuffed animal at the cabin during check out. They kept Mr.Slothy safe and are shipping him back to us now. Would recommend to all vacationers looking for a quite getaway!

We have been coming to The Landings for our Family Reunion for 25 years in early May. We rent 6-7 houses each time. We obviously love it and plan to continue the tradition.

We love, love, love Steinhatchee Landing! The community atmosphere is the best of southern hospitality. If you want a laid back and relaxing vacation, this is the place to go! We love it here! Great accommodations, great restaurants in the area with great music. The fishing is phenomenal and I love sitting by the pool and reading a good book! A hidden gem, Steinhatchee landing will not disappoint.

My husband and I rented one of the cozy honeymoon cabins during off season and had a wonderful time. Cabin 27 is very luxurious, romantic and private, with hot tub for two, two-sided fireplace, back screened in porch, massive luxury king bed, cozy sofa, table for two, and fully stocked kitchen. (Bring your own food.)Charming riverside resort and town leading to the bay & gulf. Steinhatchee Marina nearby with boat rentals. Nearby Kathy's restaurant serves whole flounder, batter-fried to perfection. McDavid's was great for breakfast. If fishing by boat and not familiar with the waters, you'll want to hire a boat captain to show you the best fishing spots. Plenty to choose from, but ask around. :-) Would attach photos, but dropped my cell phone in the bay!

We held a wedding there and it was a extremely beautiful place to hold it. Words can not even begin to describe the beauty of this place it's kinda like going back in time I would just sum it up like this it's a place that time forgot and it's beauty. You'll just have to experience it for yourself and draw your own conclusion.

My husband, Michael and I called last minute Friday needing a room and boat for the weekend and the staff here were beyond accommodating! The owner left a key for our cottage for us to find because we would be coming in after their business hours. The cottage was amazing!!!! Everything was perfect! The guys that work there were also super helpful with unloading the truck and loading the boat with fishing gear and supplies. The boat we rented was perfect too! We will definitely be staying at this resort again! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

The rooms were just okay. They were clean, which was great, and I like there is a small balcony. Our neighbor's shower did not work at all. I feel like for what you get, the rooms are a little over priced. It felt like we stopped back into the 90's. Minimal amenities and bare decor. The food was very good, but we were with a big party, and the service was not good at all. She forgot so many things including major food items like an appetizer and someone's grilled mahi. That was a little frustrating because it kept us there longer, we didn't all get our bills at the same time, and couldn't eat at the same time. We did enjoy being on the water though!

I recommend this resort for people who love fishing and boating or who want some peace and quiet. Be warned: the closest grocery store is a good half hour drive away. This place really is in the boondocks, so bring food and supplies with you.

We love it here. This is our second stay at the resort. The first stay I would have given 5 stars. This visit we were very disappointed by the lack of maintenance to the common facilities. The exercise equipment is missing parts, tennis net busted, dirty floors and windows in the pool area, etc. This place can be great again. Hopefully the management steps it up.

Breathtaking community! Even though there are a good bit of houses here there's enough trees and landscaping to make it feel homey. The pool and kiddie are were nice and the ping pong table was a nice edition. This was a nice relaxing trip in a quiet neighborhood..my family will definitely be back!

Architecturally beautiful individual residences to let. Well thought and private with docks, petting zoo, chapel and conference area wrapped in the charm of old Stinhatchee Florida. Stephanie, that handles reservations, another great asset. Well done.

This is a really great place to have a family reunion and that's exactly what we do there every year. The residences are cozy and have everything you could possibly need to enjoy company of family and prepare meals for everyone. Some of our men go out to catch the fish we eat one of the days we're there. Love it!

My husband surprised me for my bday with a getaway here. We stayed in the Hope House (#308). We had an amazing time over the weekend. We went walking around the grounds which was very lovely, there was plenty of things to do at the resort. We went fishing in two nearby places, ate at two amazing places (Roy’s and Skully’z), Fiddlers restaurant was a bad experience, visited Steinhatchee Falls and finished our day to watch the sunset at Hagen’s Cove 20 minutes from the resort. We will definitely be coming back and staying at this very same house. The owner (Julie) was very nice. She had an info book about the house, the resort and plenty of resources for things to do and places to go. She made sure there was enough of everything inside the house from dishes, extra towels, extra bedding, toilet paper and cleaning supplies if you needed to do some cleaning. The bed was very comfortable and after a day adventuring the jacuzzi tube helped us relax. There was WiFi, Dish to watch tv and games to have something to do while you was inside the house. We just had an amazing time. I highly recommend staying here!

This is a pretty place to be married at. If or when I get Married, this place has to be where the most beautiful woman in the world and myself exchange vows become United in holy matrimony and become a as one. No other place is worthy enough to be the location of the most important day of my life, other than the Steinhatchee landing's jaw dropping chapel. It is above and beyond other beautiful places that I've seen no doubt, hands down. A truly magnificent and breath taking place hidden all cozy and calm on the river in beautiful Steinhatchee, Florida.

I live in Steinhatchee, FL and many of my customers stay here. This is a top rated resort! The grounds are immaculate; maintained to the highest of standards! There are many amenities: swimming pool, petting zoo, walking paths, fire pits, half basketball court, tennis court, fish/scallop cleaning area and much more. Highly recommend! And if you're looking for a scalloping or fishing charter, please give Crystal Sea Charters a call! Enjoy!

My parents renewed their vows for their 30th anniversary at the chapel here. The chapel was beautiful and very well kept/cleaned; very good experience. And of course the surrounding property was also quite nice.

Visit Steinhatchee Landings resort annually to meet a group of friends, scallop, share meals and catch up for the year. The landings are reasonably priced and offer each guest their personal selection of a variety of home sizes and personalities.Generally the kitchens are well-appointed for cooking and entertaining. It’s a very small community, but easy to find what you need.Go prepared to relax and unwind.

This has to be the nicest place to stay in Steinhatchee, with the most friendly people. The house that we stayed in was beautiful and clean. The property was definitely unique to the area and had so many different amenities. Would definitely recommend and we will be going back and staying at Steinhatchee landing. Terri was wonderful to work with.

Amazing little sanctuary tucked away in the heart of the forgotten coast of Florida. Has everything you could want or need and more. Fun petting zoo, Koi Pond, water sports rentals, boat dock, great pool and playground. Truly a great time, especially for scallop season. It's like an under water Easter egg hunt! Captain Crystal was our charter captain located right next door. So much fun!

We came here to Vacation on our Scalloping Trip in Steinhatchee, Florida we usually come to this area yearly to snorkel around and float in these peaceful waters. Its a fun adventure to enjoy with your whole family especially having so much great food to enjoy with the satisfaction that you helped out and caught it.

Excellent location on the river! The wifi was spotty, but I was fine being offline. I LOVED the property all around - loved the little trail that we discovered from the bridge.
