Awesome fresh seafood! Super friendly and helpful staff. We have been in several times and tried the oysters, shrimp, grouper, scallops, soft shell crab and hog snapper so far and it all has been terrific! I’ve lived and fished in Florida most of my 54 years, I know quality fresh fish and seafood, and this is it! Stop by, you won’t be disappointed.

Stumbled upon this place when we were house/dog sitting nearby. Bought some excellent grouper that I made for dinner that night and some tripletail that we'll make when we get home. The TripAdvisor #1 rated restaurant in Steinhatchee couldn't hold a candle to the grouper I made the night before. Buy your fresh fish here and cook it yourself or take it to one of the local restaurants that will cook your catch. Some of the restaurants advertise fresh fish but I'm not too sure of that claim. The quality of the fresh fish here is much better than what at least some of the restaurants are serving. Call ahead to find out out what they'll probably have and they'll reserve the desired amount for you.

I bought the best grouper and shrimp to bring back to Georgia! I like to think it was so good because I’m such a great cook, but I’m sure it was combined with the quality of fresh seafood! We will be back to get more soon!

Steinhatchee Fish Company is just what Steinhatchee needed to be able to make wonderful seafood dishes at your own home. I personally love the Key West pink shrimp and the clams. The best part of purchasing from them is they can tell you where everything comes from. All their seafood is freshly caught. Janalea and Garrett are lifelong residents of Steinhatchee and grew up around the fishing industry. I highly recommend them for your seafood needs!
