I pay at the pump so I don't have to go inside , but after pumping my gas I had to go inside to receive my receipt. To me, this very annoying. But, after having to go inside, I did find that the store was very clean and appeared to be well stocked. The girl behind the counter was friendly and when I asked for my receipt she printed it out straight away. This store certainly would earn 5 stars and perhaps I'm being a little petty but I picture someone with a small child in the car now having to go inside for the receipt that should have printed at the pump. To me, what was a minor inconvenience could be a huge inconvenience to some. Just load the paper or repair the printer.

For a very small market area, Maddie's does a great job with all the quality grocery basics! Even their produce, is decent quality. Now their prices do reflect their very small customer base, which should be easy to understand given Steinhatchee's size. 👍

Love this little market. Right in town very convenient for everything you need. Prices aren't to bad.the friendliest people work there. Also have a subway attached to it if you want a sub. Can also get gas for your vet or your boat. Right down the road from public boat ramp.

Convenient and has about everything. Fresh vegetables, fruit, meats, beer and wine, and deli, etc. The cashiers don't seem to like their job.

Maddie's always has friendly service and a nice family atmosphere. They have a subway take out shop inside as well as the benefit of it being a grocery store.

I love this location! Staff is super friendly. There is a subway inside, which I love! Staff there is also super friendly. The store is clean and they accept EBT and WIC

Pump automatically took 80 dollars from my bank when I stuck my card in to get gas, before I even got gas. They need a sign saying one lane for just groceries and the other lane for gas receipts so your not waiting in the long line just to get told, " oh, gas receipts are over there." 😒 So, now I'm getting behind that long line and waiting even longer 🙄

From the looks of it you wouldn't think this business had everything. But it does. Fruits, veggies, breads, desserts, bathroom items, dairy, the hand cut meats ( great steaks) are really good and the price is perfect !If you don't want to drive to Perry or Cross City, then Maddie's is the place to go shopping in Steinhatchee.

Nice little market in town. They had everything we needed and then some. They offer: breads, beer, smokes, cookies, chips, soups & canned goods, fresh meats such as burger, chicken and steak, lunch meat & hot dogs, fresh produce, cereals, milk, juice, ice, sodas, jerky, tourist items (towels, hats, sunscreen, souvenirs), frozen dinners, lotto tickets, ice cream, etc.

Great prices for a small grocery store. I believe they are changing their name. Still a great place to shop for 🥝 food. I shop at Walmart and Maddie's is the same prices and we don't have to travel to chiefland...

I really enjoy the cashiers. They are very nice and always make my day better than it already is. Most of the cashiers know exactly what I want when i walk through the door, which saves everyone's time. On the other hand the meats are a lil overpriced in comparison to other grocers within the county.

I shope there a lot and the workers are always willing to help not a good meat selection and a lot is over priced but all in all this is what we have so we have to pay. the workers are awesome ty is always doing stuff to make it clean and look good every time I am there I love a clean store

They have everything you could possibly need food-wise. I was worried we wouldn't be able to get soy milk there, but they had it as well as almond milk. Also very good produce and a large selection of meats.

Nice folks and on Sat & Sun the Deli is open. The shelves are stocked with commonly needed items. On Mondays they even give a 10cent per gallon discount on fuel.

Maddie's is great. However; drinks on a slow Tuesday evening should be fully stocked in the coolers. There were three employees visiting and gossiping in the front of the store.

Surprisingly good for a small town quick stop. Fresh bananas, beautiful meat cuts, an prices are competitive to larger supermarkets. Great experience!!

While in Steinhatchee... 🎣 If you need a grocery store and dont want to drive 30 miles Maddies is the place! We found last minute items forgotten to be packed such as smores, veggies and boat snacks. It's not a big place but has alot of the basic needs of vaca.

I visit Steinhatchee several times a year to go fishing with friends and family. I look forward to walking in to Maddies each time I visit. I'm not sure why but it feels like coming home. The vibe is old Florida.

just went over to do the parkinglot but what a view when the tide is in ....and gwez food smelled deliciousbut and another job to do but talked to about 10 ppl headed in and they all said it was best in town...locals usually know where to get the good stuff.👌
