Even though they are still rebuilding from the last hurricane and flooding the room we had was extremely good. We had the place all to ourselves and were happy to stay for the night.The owners were nice enough to place our room key in the room and leave it unlocked because they were leaving for the day.I am sure once they get all their rooms redone and everything to the expectation of anyone who will be able to stay there it will great.

This is a great little place. For the third year in a row we have gotten together with friends to do a little boating, a little scalloping, and some relaxing too. We usually stay in their cabins, so we can't speak to their rooms, but the cabins are great when you're with a group. They have little kitchens with full stoves, ovens and refrigerators, two queen beds plus a loft with another bed, but that area gets really hot during the day so I wouldn't count that one for much other than extra storage. The cabins also have AC (very important) and full (albeit small) bathrooms. The only complaint on this trip was that the water pressure in the cabins was almost nonexistent. 😳Hopefully that gets fixed by next year's trip. There is a small shop there for ice, munchies, fishing and snorkeling gear. There is also a restaurant on-site with a decent menu, cold drinks and a great upstairs deck to watch the world go by and wet slips out front to park your boat for the weekend too. These are not fancy accommodations, but a clean, comfortable, affordable place to get away from the busy stuff and relax.

My fiancé and I came to this little place to get away from all the craziness of the Destin area, where we live. Even though the rooms are old, they were clean. The sheets and blankets smelled good.It was a relaxing stay, and the lady in the gift shop (don’t know her name) was very friendly. We will be back!!

Great food. I had my sister get a to go order for me and the Halibut was tasty and the Sweet Potato fries were crunchy and hot. She made a point to say to me how nice they had their out door bar set up for cooler temp with heaters blowing for warmth. In the summer they have fans all around and you get to choose your own seat. Very relaxing place and nice friendly staff.

When you find a small place that you feel like home in, it's where to go. We have been treated like family. This was our fourth trip to this little motel and we will be coming back againFood & drinks: WHO DAT BAR AND GRILL is attached to this Motel. Stay in cabin 8/11-13th no water pressure.Made taking a shower nearly impossible and after being on the water all day, you want a good shower. Management was notified and they shrugged it off. For $200 a night not having the ability to shower is unacceptable.

There's kitty's that are your temporary pets here. They're so funny and sweet. Not a bother at all. The one kitten was peaking up in one of the boats.. all you see is his eyes!! The staff here is incredible. Comfy beds! Bring a blanket the top blanket is not as nice but the bed, pillow and cotton sheets are great!! There's a fishing pier 5 min up the road.. beautiful but DON'T fish there. I lost 8 Rigs between myself, husband and friend in the one hour of being there. Oysters are killer. Did catch a catfish there!

Who Dat’s has Natty Light on draft! Your cares melt away as you sit in outdoor dock & watch the river with a beer & yummy wings. The servers are friendly & funny!

Staying in their cabins. Old rustic charm. Clean and no smell. A/C and fan keeps it very cool on a hot day. Friendly staff. Outdoor seating right on the river to relax.Enjoying our stay.

I did like it here laid back quiet. Whodat restaurant great prices good service. The room had that I've had water in here before musty smell and no hot water. Rent a cabin there better.

We stayed in cabin #21 for (4) nights during Labor day weekend. This place is great. Cabins were clean, dinner at the restaurant was real good. Breakfast on the weekend was very good as well, appeared to be some miscommunication between the waitress and the cook, however food was great. Dockage for boats is very good. We will be back.

The rooms here are small, but the location is fantastic for boating and the rooms are clean. The Who Dat bar and grill is also directly beside the rooms, and has very good ( although expensive ) food. There have been no problems with he place in our stay so far.

Rustic but clean. Super comfy bed. The young lady that manages it is great. The attached dockside bar/restaurant was good and can't beat the location. What Florida should be, not all corporate crud.

I wasn't happy with cleanliness of the Room and bathroom. The receptacles to plug in your phone were sunk in the wall where they cannot be used for a phone charger. The attach restaurant I went into eat a late dinner after having troubles on the water and was told I couldn't be served it was 8 o'clock and the restaurant didn't close to 11. What's the point of having a restaurant connected to hotel if the patrons of the hotel can't be served by the restaurant?

Stayed out here on business and enjoyed it. Rooms are clean and the atmosphere is great as long as you like the relaxed water scene and a cool bar to enjoy you afternoon and evening. Decent bar food and have yet to try anything I didn't like. Will stay here in the future.

The staff is laid back and friendly. Besides motels rooms and (limited) marina services, there is a restaurant/bar on site. On weekends "in season" is quite popular and lively for the adult crowd. During the day, it is a completely appropriate place for families with children to enjoy a meal.

Absolutely loved this place. Very clean, friendly personnel. Loved the Who Dat restaurant. We were part of an American Legion motorcycle group and have no complaints at all. We will definitely be back, hopefully very soon! Thank you for your hospitality.

Grouper was fresh, light and spectacular! In Boiled shrimp can be predictable but this was smooth, mellow and really lovely. Our waitress did a great job despite there being 6 of us.

Very friendly staff....I stayed in a cabin with kitchen. Easy access to water activities, many fishing guides to choose from. I saw many fish being cleaned when the guides came in. Fun bar and grill on premises also.

EXCELLENT FOOD and FRIENDLY SERVICE.....You will feel right at home at this quaint litter water side Marina, Hotel and Restaurant/Bar. They offer a variety of food options from wings, burgers, chicken strips shrimp, seafood and everything in between. Offering daily specials and a full service liquor bar with a variety of local specialties to pick from. Enjoy the peaceful tranquility of the Steinhatchee river as it passes by. The marina has fuel and ice for the boaters. There is a cute little ships store offering cold beer, sodas and snacks along with a huge assortment of fishing supplies and souvenirs to make your visit to Steinhatchee a memorable experience.

They staff was very nice. That’s why they get a 1. We rented a boat for a day and almost didn’t make it back. Our first clue was there were roaches everywhere. We rode around for about an hour and motor started to overheat. Stopped and swam. Rode more same thing then the prop started to slip. Had to go back early so we would make it back. Cruising at 5 mph took us forever The worst part about this whole story is the personnel told us many complaints have been conveyed to the owner of the boat and he won’t do anything about it. In my opinion they shouldn’t rent something they know can break down on someone.
