I have purchased 2 AWESOME guitars in the past two years from here. Both times I was "just looking," but walked out with a new guitar. They always have such interesting and beautiful guitars available at good prices. Stevie and the staff are always super friendly and will do what it takes to make you happy. Check in often, b/c you never know what you will find. Love this place!!!!

I brought my older Fender acoustic in to St. Pete Guitars for a set up, some new strings and some adjustments to the machine tuners. I got it back in a couple of days and it plays beautifully! Reasonably priced…good value…solid staff on site. I’ll look forward to having my other guitars serviced at St. Pete Guitars 🎸

I was guitar shopping for a student, and found the perfect guitar there. They went to extreme lengths to come up with the PERFECT deal, and unfortunately my student decided otherwise (against my advice) but the staff here were helpful, reasonable, and accommodating. I don't normally find guitar shops like this. And btw for the love of god buy UP these Tagimas they are amazing

I've seen this store for years, and assumed that it being on the "beach" island store that things would be "pricy"! But to my surprise, I was able to find that things are pretty good priced! I wasn't really looking for anything; just wasting time and I pick up this super light Strat style guitar (Like 5 pounds) and it was priced really well! I couldn't resist! I had to have it!They have a lot of stuff crammed into this little store! Pretty impressed and the staff was very friendly:) A++ guys!Now I do a walk through every time I go down there. Never know what I might find :P More people need to know about this little shop!! I swear they might just have as many guitars as the big box store has. Maybe not, but pretty close.Shine on dudes!

Steve and Lee have been awesome to us and the shop become our go-to for everything. Top notch service and super communicative and friendly. Killer selection too. A gem.

Amazing place! I took my 11 year old son here to browse around at the selection of guitars and amps and the staff was extremely respectful and helpful with us, answering any questions we had. My son and I are enamored with this store and we will be coming back very soon!!!!!

This amazing music boutique had some real surprises. The inventory is always changing as they deal in new and used gear. The staff is incredibly helpful and funny. We just talk shop while we browse. You can try anything in the shop. It's just a really cool place.

Absolutely great little shop if you are a beginner all the way up to a pro! They have both new and used guitars which is great for people just starting out ! They also carry ukulele’s and banjos ! Some of the most beautiful hand crafted guitars I’ve seen. My husband got his first guitar here two days ago and the guy took the time to explain the el trip guitars and price ranges and also gave him names for music instructors and offered to have us call if we ever needed any help with anything ! This is a must go if you are looking for electric guitars , acoustic guitars , ukulele , or banjo

I recently purchased my first acoustic guitar here and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I wasn't treated like a customer, I was treated like family. It was such a welcoming atmosphere that it immediately inspired me to start practicing. Stevie rocks! He has a zest for music and it's contagious. Highly recommend this place. Knowledgeable staff, great service. Fair about guitar trade in toward amp. Sam Ash is horrible now. If you need service on your equipment go to St. Pete guitars. Stevie Bs has always had a real good reputation. They know the equipment they sell n are easy to deal with. Not some large corporate business like Sam Ashs.

I stopped by on vacation. This place is awesome. Small place stuffed to the limits with quality gear. Everywhere you look, there is stuff you just don't find at big box franchises and the staff and attitudes are the best part. Its a place you just want to hang out in. This is a "Mom and Pop" for the 21st century.

Great experience. I'm not a great player, but they made me feel at home. Sebastian was amazing, helping me pick out a new guitar. Listened to what i was looking for, took price tags off and had me play a range. I chose a guitar a LOVE and it wasn't the most expensive one. GREAT place!

St Pete Guitars is by far one of the best music stores I've been too. Great selection, great prices, and the staff was so knowledgable and friendly! From new to used to vintage, they have it all. They even fix guitars too and was a lifesaver for me...I had worked on 3 kit guitars and had problems writing them myself and took them here. Now my guitars work great and couldn't be happier! Thanks guys and will definitely be back!

Wow, what a cool little shop! Spent the day in St. Pete with my wife with the anticipation of visiting St Pete guitar shop. Stevie the owner is amongst the friendliest people on the planet, he seemed like an old friend, and Lee was very cool as well. The selection is very good and I was encouraged to play every guitar in the store and stay as long as I wish. Since I was with my wife I didn't take advantage of the offer but it was genuine and totally appreciated. While I resisted temptation on a very nice Hagstrom I plan to visit again. Stevie and Lee have earned my future business. Thanks for the cool t shirt Stevie!

These guys are great. I went in on vacation because I had lost the key to my Gator case and I was hoping they might have one. They didn't, but they tore the place apart looking and were friendly and engaging the whole time. These days, customer service at this level is rare. Highly recommended.
