Went for bugs. Got healthy looking bugs. Kind of on the pricey side but I'd rather give to local business anyway. Store is small but not cramped. Not a huge selection of pets that I could see, mostly fish tanks, a few reptiles. Great customer service. Will be back for sure

I can't say enough good things about this pet shop. Above all, I'm a better pet mom because of them. They take the time, everytime, to go over any questions i have about health, food, habitat, safety, anything... They truly care about my pets. Ill never go anywhere else. Great prices. If you want reptile feed, seems to be the place to go. I guess they've changed their business model to meet demand.Used to come for salt water fish. Fish tanks were the majority of the store. It had been a while since I'd been here. Now they only have a small selection of fish, and only open that section up to customers like every other Saturday.Be warned that the rodent breeding area is behind curtains as soon as you walk in, not in a closed section. That needs to be changed, IMHO, with much more air flow - a separate air handler from the one where customers are.

This place is awful. I would not call it a pet shop. I walked in with my kids and left fearful of their health. The place smells completely rancid and honestly I could t get out fast enough.

I’m guessing some people just have a sensitive nose and don’t understand what a real pet store will smell like. They have over 1000’s of live animals in stock always for your reptile pets and they have always provided me with the healthiest and best priced feed I need. Thank you, stick with the small local businesses.

If I could give 0 stars I would.I was in the store for less than 2 minutes and left there smelling TERRIBLE. It's a mixture of rodent feces/urine, spoiled Chinese food, and something dead; soaked into my hair and clothes.I couldn't breathe.Also, their fish are only viewable for 4 hours a week, Saturdays from 10 to 2 to "ensure the fish are healthy to adopt out." There's even moving blankets blocking the tanks.If you'd like to look at 2 bearded dragons that may or not be for sale and a single bottle of reef supplement, then you're in luck! 😉 I wish I was exaggerating.

Lets go ahead and start with step 1; walking in: There should be a warning for people that have breathing issues. The immediate stench of urine and feces fills the nostrils as well as your clothes when entering the vicinity. Then we have absolutely zero pets to look at. Oh, but they sell products on the shelves that even though are sealed, im affraid to buy because of the hazardous conditions health wise. After about 3 minutes and what seemed like an eternity (3 MINUTES TOO LONG), i took my leave. As i left i noticed how badly i reeked of the shop i spend maybe 3 minutes in. Going to work the next day, i could still smell it in my car (drove home with windows open). How could anyone buy anything other than rats from here? I can shop for fish once a week? No thanks!!!! Never again! Good luck trying to run a business this way in a world driven by competitive market! As far as variety goes...they have an incredible selection of nitrate!!!!

Treasure Cove is an excellent place to go for all your reptile and fish means, they really cater to us. The staff is so friendly, and when you talk about your pet then they get to know and remember and then anticipate what your preferences are going to be and what you want. I mean that is excellent service. So grateful to have this store here in Spring Hill

I looked everywhere for Colombian Red and Blue Tetras and finally found them at Treasure Cove. They are very healthy and already settling in. I will definitely be back - all the fish and tanks looked beautiful and healthy. Nicest aquarium store I’ve been to in a while and great customer service.

Our go to shop for frozen feeder rats for our pet snake Fluffy. A wonderful small locally owned business. It's my absolute pleasure to spend my money on needed reptile supplies from such lovely, professional and helpful people. And it's a fish and reptile store, it's not gonna smell like a bakery 🙄 (that comment is for the dingdong complaining about the odor)

Hate to say it but don't waste your time or money here. I try to always go through my local fish stores for supplies but this place is pretty bad. I've gone in a few times to see if there is anything. Bought a few fish from here in rough shape cause wanted to help the fish but no more. Even if a fish store doesn't have fish I always always try to buy something to support the local fish store unfortunately this place has like nothing. Barely any food or fish or other aquarium supplies. Most of the tanks are empty and the ones that are running are obviously not well taken care of. Anybody who properly takes care of their animals knows that smell is not normal. That is the smell of uncleaned cages and tanks left to sit. This last time was it. I have been to several reptile and aquarium stores and this is the most unclean unorganized shop ive ever been to. ONLY THIS STORE HAS EVER SMELLED SO BAD. If anything the shop was in worse condition then when I last visited a month ago.

The lady who is always working really is horrible. But the male is wonderful and always gives me the RIGHT amount. Super tired of asking for 50 Large crickets and I barely get 30 crickets and then they’re super small. This place never has anything, they always say “we’ll get it the next day” or “it’s not in season”. $9 for 20 crickets and a few meal worms when I ask for 100 mealworms? Totally not okay. Will be finding another shop because this place is 0/10.

I used to live 2 blocks away. I would bring my son on daily walks and stop by. The staff is awesome, friendly and super helpful with great customer service. Very affordable and have a wide selection. Full of knowledge and they will school you if needed. If you haven't been here what are you waiting for? I highly recommend you visit.

Friendly staff! I needed some live rats and they were quick to help me out and let me know when the ones I needed were coming in. They do have a fee if you pay with a credit card for anything under $5 but they were willing to let me pay ahead for something to avoid the fee. Great experience. Will be coming here regularly from now on.

Everyone on the staff is so nice and super knowledgeable. They have been helping us with a saltwater tank for years from set up to maintenance. My husband and I just recently started building our own saltwater reef tank and we have gone here numerous times already for supplies. All of the staff here has been absolutely amazing and incredibly helpful. Every time we've gone here, they have taken their time to answer all of our questions in great detail and thought by explaining why they recommend it and tailoring their opinion to our specific case. Being beginners, they have taught us a lot and have helped us pick out the right things along the way. They are honest and don't over charge for anything. We will continue to purchase all of our aquarium products from here. This is an honest business that genuinely cares about their customers and helping people build and maintain a successful aquarium. They definitely aren't just in the business for profit and you can see that immediately after talking to them. It's obvious after doing business with them that they are passionate about helping people. I most definitely recommend them.

Stopped in the other day and the owner was very nice. I had planned on buying more snails and crabs and had many questions. He helped me out and helped with all my questions. In the end I did not need any more snails and I left without buying anything. This store was awesome and he had tons of corals and fish for sale. I will be back in the near future to improve my tank.

We normally were buying us fish elsewhere, however, due to the short lifespans of the fish we decided to try here. The staff was wonderful. They answered questions and helped us to pick out fish that were better suited for our tanks. They also helped to ensure that the different fish we were purchasing were meant to live among the fish we currently had. We are very happy we found this place!!
