lovely place.I take my dog to the dog of Ipanema to trim her nails. The staff is very friendly, professional and the place is very clean.The have a wide variety of leashes and harness than other stores don’t have.Parking is always easy in the street, usually in front of the store.

This place just feels right... is such a good place.... my dog is super happy and is not scare to stay and trust me she doesn't like anyone but here is like she knows she will be taking care of.... i highly recommend this place 👌

we were in from out of town and in desperate need of a groomer- found this place and was deeply impressed. they even showed me some problems our prior groomers had missed with regard to his ears and corrected it. If we lived in this area this would be our forever groomer. a great place.

A touch expensive, but they are the best. So loving of my old golden doodle! They even have 2 people work together on him because he cannot stand. They come out to get him when traffic is bad. Just happy people to be with...

I've been going here for 8 years, and I am a very picky customer, they do a marvelous job, and are incredibly friendly, courteous, and professional. I have a small poodle, who gets extremely excited to go get groomed here. Highly recommend it.

I had never been to The Dog From Ipanema until I took two little shelter dogs in for grooming. There was a fashion show on Miami Beach and two dogs from Born Free Pet Shelter in Homestead were being featured in the show in the hopes of getting them adopted. This groomer was giving the pups baths and brushings and cleaning them all up for the big event. Shelter life for small dogs sometimes makes them anxious – and both these dogs were scared. Jessica greeted me and was soooo nice and kind to them – the dogs didn’t have any anxiety at all with her; they trotted off with Jessica and I left. After a few hours getting their luxurious “spa” treatments, the two dogs came out BEAUTIFUL - they pranced out like, “Look at me, look at me, please adopt me!” They smelled delicious and were soft and clean. The dogs weren’t nervous or unhappy; in fact, I think they really enjoyed their day at the spa. Later that evening, the owner himself (Jarbas) came to the event to spruce up all the dogs in the fashion show (there were dogs from another rescue there also). He was so amazing with all the dogs, you can tell he is a dog-person – he fluffed them all up, and even put some doggie glitter on them. All the dogs were a big hit with everyone at the event!The store is really cute, was super clean, and sells all kinds of fun stuff for your 4-legged friend – collars, toys, treats, etc. Parking is available right in front of the shop.It is my belief that if you have a dog you take to a groomer, you love and pamper that dog and want whoever grooms them to do the same; the owner and employees of this shop are those people. Thank you Jarbas and Jessica for giving these two little dogs a very nice spa day away from the shelter in the hopes of getting them adopted. Highly, highly recommend The Dog From Ipanema.

Excellent service. They really know how whay are they doing. I went last Saturday with my little Sally, a black Miniature Scnauzer . They did an oustdanding job. I will go again this coming Saturday. With my white mini schnauzer.

My go to grooming salon. No better place in Miami - wouldn't trust anyone else to groom my fur baby, especially since she is a rescue, ex puppy mill mom and cancer survivor. The care and love they have for dogs shows. They rock!!

Horrible! I walked in with my puppy one day (being that I was a first time parent) I asked some questions about their products and the owner was talking and answering to me sarcasticly the whole time I was there. I was interested in some of the not-so-common items for my little one and she kept offerring me hand-me-down items that she wasn't able to sell in the store. Such an awful experience and I'm definitely not going back!

I probably can be counted as a regular; I've been there a few times. This place isn't cheap, but like everything in life: you get what you pay for. I've never been disappointed with the results.

If you are willing to pay from 300$ to 1000$ to groom your dog from a very talented groomer..then you can chose this shop. I wasn’t able to understand this talent though and walked away.
