I stayed at Lake Seminole Inn bc I was visiting someone at Florida State Hospital. The room was nice and clean, with a coffee maker, blow dryer and ironing board. It's close to the hospital and Snead is a wonderful small town of the friendliest people. I really enjoyed our stay there, but what impressed me most the most was the staff. Helpful, friendly and warm.

Gosh! I wonder why people are giving such bad reviews ! The roaches are dead as seen in the pictures posted, this proves that the place has been sprayed . In this part of Florida it is known that after a freeze it warms up and becomes rainy n humid which makes these centipedes come out from any concrete slab n come on top. They do not bite n are harmless but a nuisance. One can remove them by constant sweeping n spraying.The owners personally make it a point to see to the cleanliness of the rooms. These are good people, give them a chance. It seems someone is adamant on taking out their grudge by posting bad reviews through fake id's. The owners are one of the best and courteous and friendly people I have known. I would recommend this place without any doubt.

I really think Lake Seminole Inn is a very nice place to stay. The room was very clean. The price was affordable. It was a very quiet place to stay and the beds are so comfortable. I will recommend Lake Seminole Inn to everyone who goes to that area and needs a place to stay.Rooms: Really clean....Safety: I felt really safe there and everyone who was there were friendly

**STAY AWAY**So my stay at the Lake Seminole Inn lasted 30 mins, I had made a reservation over the phone a few days prior in hopes of scoring an affordable lodging accommodation within an hour of Tallahassee of parents weekend. Well upon arrival I was told the room I had reserved was no longer available and I would have to choose another. After looking at the different rooms we were about to leave but magically the room I had reserved became available. We got into the room and within 5 mins we discovered some serious problems. We moved the bed and discovered what could only be described as disgusting a roach the size of a half dollar coin, huge worms and a hole in the ground with roaches in it. I promptly asked for a full refund which the man gave and we left without a moment to spare I would recommend staying away from this place and finding another accommodation.

I’m giving this place one star because my boyfriend got his refund. Overall this place is absolutely rubbish and horrendous. We were not even there for 30 mins, we went through three rooms total (to choose which one we wanted to stay, but the first two was a no) before picking the last room. we got to our room started unpacking. We inspected the room in case any bedbugs or other little critters.… Till under the bed and could you not. My boyfriend found two dead roaches as the size of a half dollar coin and a dried crusty worm covered in dust. Never in my life, have I packed so quick, went in the car, boyfriend got his refund and drove away so fast like the speed of light.

I have stayed and rated a bunch of hotels and by far this one is the as the very worst in customer service. While checking the charges for late check out I was told it was $10 per hour which is kind of reasonable however I was told I have to pay it before the checkout and the staff was a little rude on that. I mean why, what's the need and urgency there. It looks like they are trying to enforce the law very strictly which is not going to look good with the customers. We did check out 30 minutes late and we were not charged and I believe it was because, when we checked out other staff was at the counter than the staff who were strict about the rule.On the good side, the rooms are clean and to be honest, with this price point, you would not find a nicer room...

This place was just what I needed for a night of rest on my bicycle trip. The price was very reasonable. The place was clean, staff was pleasant, what more do you need. This wasn’t a five star hotel, but it had a 2 star price. The air conditional worked well and was quiet. It had a nice shower with a tub I could soak in. I wish there were more of these along the route on my bicycle trips.

It's okay to stay with animals. The room needed a little more cleaning than I would of have liked. I brought my own cleaning supplies and stuff to make it better. But for the amount of money they charge for dogs and to stay it was fine. I checked the beds thoroughly and didn't find anything. However, on the last day of our stay there was a rat or a mouse that was in one of our bags. Thank goodness we didn't bring it home. There is a big over grown field in the back. So maybe it came from there. No roaches or bed bugs.

I have to stop with my son on our way to Pensacola, honestly I didn't have any expectations, It was a must stop. This is a friendly family, I witness a father that ran to pick up his young son from school. The Room was clean, everything that I use was working, price is unbeatable. My family likes to road travel without much planning. This one wasn't even a staying plan, we ran to a dollar general to get some stuff. No roaches, carpet is clean, doesn't have any odors. Clean, strait forward motel that save our day.

Do not waste your time with this place. They owners are crooks. They tell you when you are checking in that you have to pay a deposit of $25 on top of the price of the room. They tell you that you will get it back so long as you don't smoke in the rooms. I DO NOT SMOKE. Yet they kept the deposit. After speaking with some people who have had the same problem it appears no one gets that smoking deposit back. It's just the owners way of getting every penny. And on top of this the rooms are not clean at all.

I saw a picture of a jacuzzi room online and decided to call and check it out. Staff was very nice(harry I believe). it was extremely affordable. Room was clean, also the jacuzzi worked great and had complementary wine glasses waiting upon arrival. This is not just some rundown motel 8 I was honestly surprised at the quality. Enjoyed my stay!

This is straight up a dump. Refrigerator does not work. The lights flickered only 1 light worked had to get one replaced. Table was dirty thank goodness I had lysol wipes. Would strong recommend you just keep looking. Wished I'd went on to the next town.

Not the best hotel in sneads. If we would have kept looking we would have. Door looks like it's been broken into, nothing was cleaned. Thank God we had lysol wipes. The beds are uncomfortable. Afraid of looking at the air filters for the ac unit. Bathroom floor is sticky, needs updated badly.

Just spent two nights there and was very pleased. The place is owned by a nice family with an upbeat attitude. Their hotel is off by itself away from other businesses so a quiet rest is guaranteed.Wonderfully low priced, too. I will be back!

We stayed here because we were seeing a relative in the area. When we got to the room it, it looked dirty and smelled of old wet rugs. Also found a dead roach behind one of the tables we moved. Although the beds looked clean they didn't feel clean. Also they do not clean the rooms when you are there. The only thing they did was replace the paper cups we used. Will never go back. Place was just nasty.

Now I have stayed at this motel on several occasions but this experience was the worst. There were roaches coming out of the night stand, the phone and the alarm clock...the towels were filthy. I definitely think the owners are allowing this motel to go down. They are more concerned about making a dollar rather than fixing and maintaining their establishment. It's definitely gonna be a while before I return! Just horrible ❗

The room was fairly clean and basic. However the door locks are very poor quality, which is a concern for a single woman traveling alone. I could not get the door to shut appropriately to secure the top lock.Also, the " non- smoking" room I had filled with the stench of cigarette smoke repeatedly through the night from people in neighboring rooms standing outside smoking. Next time I'll pay the extra to stay elsewhere.
