Went here earlier today and couldn't find a ball that goes by the name of Kong. Can your store get another more of those by that name brand. I don't want to travel too far to find a Petco that has those in stock. I like this Petco store, but really want to buy one for my dog DD.

Disappointing experience would be an understatement. Went in simply to buy a bag of food for my dog. At checkout the cashier(Shane) become very confrontational when I asked if he could look up my account because I had a rewards bag of food. Snapping that I had to do that on my own and login to the app. I excused myself from the line to make a phone call and try to log myself in (because again apparently Shane can’t do it). After getting logged in I stepped back in line and because it got busy I was set to be help by another employee (turns out to be the manager (Brian)). As he is trying to ring me out Shane has to come over to my register making rude comments and being confrontational. Just looking red and angry over something that he had no need to involve himself in. It wasn’t until I asked the manager if Shane could step away because he kept escalating the situation, that he finally did. After all that Shane proceeded to stand by the door so that he could tell me “bye”. Again very confrontational.Brian the manager did a poor job of attempting to de-escalate the situation.Shane 100% needs a refresher on customer service, and if he is having a bad day. Maybe just ask to go home.Please resolve this staffing issue.

UNFORTUNATE we give 1 star. The store and quite a few NEWER employees are FABULOUS. we ARE PET PEOPLE !! WE spend hundreds here monthly sometimes weekly. THATS OVER ! THE STORE MANAGER IS ABOUT AS WORTHLESS AS A DUG UP BODY !!! WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE THAT even take a job involving CUSTOMERS ????? I'm sure another entry level wage job could be found just as easily that doesn't require any problem solving skills or CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!!!!

Be sure to check pricing. I made an appointment for 2 small dogs for bath only and was quoted nearly $80. Yorkie and pomeranian. Website lists a bath at $26 each. Associate said the website was wrong. This is outrageous as they should honor posted pricing. $80 is extreme for bath only. Pet Smart is much cheaper so I will be taking my business there

I just shopped at Petco for the last time. I have shopped here for years, even adopted a kitten here. The loyalty program has apparently changed since it has been almost 2 years since I have received the $5 off purchase that I used to earn frequently. I just purchased litter and several cans of cat food and was told that the bag to put them in would cost .10. Charging a loyal customer for the bag for their purchases is ridiculous. And then the clerk asked me "what's stopping me" for signing up for the program that offers frequent discounts. Petco lost a customer today.

I like that I can find good affordable cat food for my fur baby but I’m sick on being asked to donate at the check out counter. I’m lucky I can afford to feed and take care of my own pet that I saved from the streets. If I could feed them all and house them all with loving families I would.

Cashier at the front signed me up for their rewards program failing to mention that it was NOT a ONE time charge, but a monthly charge that I was locking into for 12 months. Petco customer service won't let me cancel this, and said they'd credit me 10$ a month against it and never did. Not to mention, if you manage to check out without being asked to donate to 4 different things it's a miracle. Why don't you take some of that 25$ you scammed me into paying every month and donate that?

I have had very good experiences with the vet, Dr Hillary Wolfe. She was very caring and understanding. The staff Kat, was excellant too. The store staff are also helpful and very nice as well

The only reason I shop at Petco anymore is to get potty pads. I get everything else from Chewy. I loved Petco up until the pandemic. Since then the quality of employees in the stores has gone downhill, the change to the rewards program has gone downhill and there are no more treats for pups on their birthday. If Petsmart had the kind of potty pads, I like I would quit shopping at Petco altogether.

I've been trying to call the vet and so have a memeber of petco to get a hold of the doctors to get my puppy his flea medicine and heartworm. Today I called and the guy on the phone said that he will try and give them a call and see what's going on since I didn't hear from anyone last night or this morning about my puppy prescription. He said that he tried calling but no one answered and told me to come in since they close at 6pm today and off tomorrow. I said okay I will be there. I walk through the doors and they closed 2 mins ago at 5:00pm since they didn't have any appointments. I'm so upset right now because the sign said 6pm not 5pm and he needs his medicine.Also what if someone has an emergency? It's sad because they closed before they were supposed to.

I take my rottweiler there to be groomed. She loves to go. They are all so sweet to her and take great care of her. We usely use Haylie, but all the girls help out! Need to check them out for your fur baby!

Had the worst Vetco ( In house Vet services) experience here and I still can't seem to have a manager, a GM or any competent person call me back, even from corporate, to get what they neglected to give me from the visit. Horrible communication and horrible service in the vet hospital! Do not take your pet to this Vetco location!!! And shame on Petco for keeping these employees!

Petco has always been very helpful when it came to my dog but I still bought some of the pet products from other stores. Their staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about everything I had questions about. If I was unhappy with anything I bought there they would refund or replace it no questions asked. This included bones that my dog didn't like. The service they provided me yesterday won me over as a loyal customer forever. I was about to pick up a kitten at animal rescue so my dog would eventually have someone to play with while I'm at work. I checked the prices for everything I thought I needed through the Walmart and target websites so I had an idea of cost. As I headed to Walmart I decided to swing by Petco to see how their prices compared. Since they have a decent sized staff, a young lady helped me like she was my "personal shopper". I told her about the kitten then she grabbed a discount sheet and told me exactly what I needed and which items were on sale etc. She basically led me from aisle to aisle telling me what she would buy if it were here. The service was phenomenal. The prices were even lower than the other stores when you calculate the discounts. I will never go anywhere else.

UPDATE AT BOTTOM OF REVIEW.The cashier is rude and not helpful. Unfortunately, she's like this consistently. She stares you down, acts like you're a bother to her, won't get help for heavy items if asked and just dropped a box of cat litter almost on my foot and walked away. Didn't say anything about her not being able to lift or help. Just attitude and dirty looks. Thankfully a nice customer was kind enough to help.This is a take it or leave it store for me. I don't go out of my way to get things from here.Others in the store are more helpful. The trick is to find an employee. I think they are finally having more than 2 people in the store and this helps.UPDATE: much better customer service now and more employees are available. A good step in the right direction. Thankful for the management growing, adapting, and wanting to be better for all customers.

Only 2 employees, register wasn't working, my mom caught her own fish as there was nobody available to help and took the barcode up to the front with the photo of the angel fish she was purchasing, they made it seem like she lying and said "that's too cheap for that fish" (it was honestly the correct tag) my mom walked out, I just bought her fish and my items after having to move to a different register which didn't work either at first.Was looking at harnesses for my new puppy and half of the items didnt even have a price label. Worst experience I've had at petco. For the 2nd half of my puppy shopping, I chose to go to Petsmart last night.

Very happy this opened up in the area. Needed some eye drops for my dog and sometimes you need things quicker than what Amazon can offer- thankfully Petco had in stock the drops I needed and had a great price- as well as curbside pickup! I am so extremely grateful they offer curbside pickup! This is a feature that will ensure my continued business here. As soon as we pulled into the curbside spot a Petco employee was walking to our car with our order in hand, very friendly. A great shopping experience without even setting foot in the store.
